For the music, soundtrack editor forked. For the visuals and sound design I have these: - EVE (including volumetrics, obviously) - Scatterer - Restock - Waterfall (WaterfallRestock with some custom files to give plumes to the ones that don't have new textures) - TUFX using blackrack's TUFX profile with the saturation slightly boosted - Chatterer - Rocket sounds enhancements - Pood's Skyboxes (with the cool nebula) - ZTheme (UI mod) - Parallax (Scatters) And I think that's it :)
(Still wish we could take over the development of KSP2 though. As good as it is, KSP does have engine limitations due to being a pretty old game. KSP2 would've fixed that. It failed.)
@@AstroChara Yeah dude! With how good our modding community is we could definitely take on a KSP 2 project! (If you haven't seen volumetric clouds before I suggest you check it out, that's how I know KSP 1 can even compete with KSP 2 in terms of graphics)
Currently, I am writing a mod that adds a new soundtrack system like in KSP 2. It will add songs from KSP 2, but it will also allow you to add your own audio tracks and adjust playback parameters
Update: My mod is about 70% ready because I plan to work on the transitions between changing soundtracks and making the whole system more dynamic. Unfortunately, there is a small problem that I cannot share soundtracks from KSP2 in the mod itself because this may result in unpleasant consequences. But my mod allows you to import soundtracks on the client side
@@szumiks3206 Well I can name at least 5 of us on the discord wishing you the best of luck for this project :) Bit of QoL questions tho, will it have more or less the same layout of soundtrack editor forked? Awesome! one of the best things in KSP 2 is the soundtrack, it'll be nice to get it in KSP 1. the only critique would be for it to fade between music as its a bit jarring when it suddenly changes.
The transitions between orbit to approaching landing to landed seem a bit hard. There's also no change when approaching maneuver. But still, the fact that some of it is possible is a great achievement!
Yeah, I've been working on sorting out those problems with the landing and I finally have a stable system to use (the maneuver is unfortunately impossible for the time being)
Unfortunately, I am not actually allowed to release it to everyone due to it being against T2's terms of service (which really sucks but hey, rules are rules i guess) I would release my config files for the mod I used (soundtrack editor forked if you want to do a similar thing with the songs available on youtube or from the files themselves) but most of the files required for said config are things i got from my own sources. Sorry :(
@@wyrdean_9649 It's the music files. According to their (quite frankly dumb) rules, I am not allowed to distribute or even really have any files from any of their games (including music). Somebody needs to make an adaptive music mod! Soundtrack Editor Forked is good, but it's pretty clunky compared to KSP 2's adaptive music.
Man... After the cancellation of ksp2 i haven't even opened the game. This music is oddly nostalgic for a game i only played for a few months
It isn’t cancelled, they just got rid of the previous developers and brought in KSP 1 developers. Intercept games is cancelled, not KSP 2.
