The diference on weight is about the density of the wood. Is a real thing. If you take a one meter plank of two types of wood they definetly dont have the same weight. Some are way more heavy than others. Cheers. And happy new year! 🍀
I found a mod that lets you rent productions, so if you rent the big sawmill and do dead wood contracts and take them to sawmill and make planks and stuff u can earn like 75k a month on normal difficulty
Check out how much it costs to buy a manchurian red pine tree in build mode. Giants still hasn't balanced it. This is an official cheat created by Giants xD Edit: Kiedy polska wersja? :D
it is only in the second to last growth state, when they're fully grown allt trees are fine. I use that for realism, thinning the dead trees before the final cut
Definitely weight. I planted lodgepole pines and oaks in my yard. One pine worth about max 3000 liters, weighs about 2 or 3 tons. But fully grown oak weighs 11 tons and worth more than 30 thousand liters.
This is one thing i hate most about farming sim 25. The fact that they keft so much space for forests but barely put any trees in it. Like the eastern european map….look at google earth eastern europe is FULL of pine plantations. Put a few of those in so we can actually do some forestry. Incredibly wasted potential.
Manchurian Red Pine costs $500 in build mode and produces ~60,000 L of wood chips. If you’re buying trees and looking for profits, get the Lizard TREX mod and “mow down” a forest of purchased trees.

Oak tree, 2 years to fully grown, 21000 liter. Sawmill 150000, way cheaper than a tree harvester. Drag the tree to the sawmill. Very easy and cheap.

That mod is a life saver. I've been doing the same with my deadwood contracts keeping that mill solely focused on temple materials.
I chip 15 long pole pines for 100k FFS
Having the ability to rent machines and buy them on sale, installing the building rental mod is an unnecessary convenience.
Underrated quality video ones again
The legend just uploaded a video

You never said which 5 types of trees are suitable for making a profit ...
I was disappointed in the lodge pole trees . About 1 out of ten died when they were 20 m.
Maybe they are too close to each other?

Need to use the pallets with 240 small saplings. The others disappear.
when using trees for the sawmill does height or weight matter?
