Great video and very helpful for anyone wanting to visit East Head. I am moored up at Emsworth so sometimes visit this anchorage but I’m a Rival 32:so stay well out. My first yacht was a Silhouette MKIII so this brought back memories of many happy days sailing this great little cruiser. Andy UK
Thanks! As i catchup to real-time i will be doing more in person detailed reviews of other anchorages in the solent. I launch from the top of hayling so might see you about this season when we get released!
Hey Alex that is super helpful, thank you. I launched my little boat from Itchenor this week and plan to head to East Head v soon. Is there a state of tide that you’d recommend me visiting to spend a couple of hours with my little 3.8m tiller controlled Rib?! Thanks for you channel!
Hi there. Great video - thank you. Out of interest can you recommend where we can dry dock a trailer cruiser dinghy. Like a NorseBoat 17, or a Drascombe 19 ft. Basically interested in keeping a boat on a trailer there (under cover). Just can't afford anything crazy and interested to see if that sort of thing exists there. Would be then keen to connect to the car and slip the boat for weekend use in Chichester Harbour. Please let me know! Thank you !
If you call the Chichester harbour conservancy and you can get one for a whole year or just a day. Really cheap and it helps to keep the harbour in good shape.
Nice video - great to see some sun and sea during a grey winter in lockdown.
Thanks! Hopefully we get some freedom this summer to get out on the water!

All states will be fine but the higher the better for the beach.
