The eco moorings in Studland are not free any longer, £10 a time but you are supposed to pay online. I also anchor inside the sea grass when I go.

Thanks for a great video. Looking at the Viko 21 or the TES550. You say the Viko and trailer is around 1.5Tonne, is that correct, I have 1650kg tow capacity, web says mass is 950kg for the boat, not sure if this includes the keel or not, manufactures swap around including it or some times not including it.

Enjoyable video again, thank you. Have you considered taking the inshore East Looe channel into Poole Harbour entrance? It cuts quite distance off when approaching from the East, and allows one to sail right into the entrance.My current boat is far too deep in draft, but I used to enjoy going that way in my previous boat. One can chat to the bathers on Poole Head beach on the way past! Ha!

Brownsea island brings back so many memories as I sailed there as a kid with my mum and dad. There was a sign marking the channel just before where you were anchored, that said ‘A Quiet Place’….brilliant!! A very special place to anchor and hike on the island and see the peacocks! Interesting pronunciation of Alum Bay! The stress should be on the "a", not the "u". Whilst I'm at it, Μεράκι (Meraki, passion in English) has the stress on the "a" as well, not the "i" at the end. Just me being a terrible pedant ... but I do enjoy your videos, and admire your endeavours enormously.

I have the raymarine element MFD can any name brand GPS antenna example garmin be used w/ raymarine? I want to avoid the seatalk cableing bc my engine/fuel tanks are NMEA2K thanks BTW the way you have it all connected on the blanket makes it easy to visulize compared to stuffed in a closet. good work.

Seems like you've got yourself the perrfect boat there. Big enough for an extended trip. Fast enough to dodge any bad weather. Small enough to trail around the country. Ive been looking at Dragonflys but they are really expensive.
