Thanks. It is not well explained in the manual and not well implemented in this VTX. You need to turn it using a small screwdriver. Do you have this VTX currently or you're thinking of getting it?
Thanks for the review I was thinking of buying the spotter because I think it has a much better picture and a better over all package but after watching this review I think I'll keep looking for something else for my 250 mini quad
Also there looks to be a lot less lag time or latency with the spotter too-can any one here recommend a good small camera that is under 20 bucks? with a 1/2 way good picture I do not want it for racing just for FPVing around the house and yard?

I do have the Boscam 5.8G RC5808 video Tx & Rx set I was looking for something all in one and a little smaller that is why I was looking at the Echine TX05 or some thing like it--- so you think maybe I should use the Boscam set I have & just buy a good camera like the Runcam swift maybe? It seems like a lot of added weight I know I said I am not racing but I don't want the extra weight either (for longer flight times)
+Rosario W Yes, I think that you will enjoy a full sized fpv camera like the Runcam swift than an all in one camera like the TX05 on a racing quadcopter.
Hi there. Nice video by the way. My Spotter V3 has a resolution of 640x480 only. I thought I was able to get a better resolution according to the ad of the seller I got it from on AliExpress. Is there any way to modify the resolution by any chance? It is not written in the manual. I get no audio as well :(
@@KremerFPV got that. thanks. my dvr was recording in 640x480. I switched it for a higher resolution when recording. it doesn't change what the cam and vtx is capable of but I least I don't have to stretch it every time to get 16:9 videos. Will definitely consider digital 👍 any brand to recommend ?
Its so hard to get a accurate review due to the nature of radio frequencies. It all depends where you fly in my experience. In a quiet location i have gotten great range out of 25mw
You must be doing something wrong or have a bad antenna set up on the spotter. I have done testing many others on RUclips and the spotter v2 has had great signal and much different results then this video. It was even going out when you were feet away from the transmitter, on the spotter v2. It's almost like you were putting on a rigged review for that other camera type and maker. Cause I know how decent the spotter v2 is and watch other videos on RUclips of the spotter v2 and you will see much different results then in this video.
Kremer FPV yeh mine is going on the cab of the traxxas Unlimited Deser Racer. Going to see how it performs. Just wish Runcam did a similar format with a receiver cable. Would be sweet.

For a 250 quad I recommend a full size transmitter with a proper FPV camera.

Both cams will work only really good with a min. Of 7.4v

Thanks. This is an analog VTX and camera. If you need a better resolution you need to get a digital setup.

It seems like the TOP Spotter has shotty build quality, evident by the blipping out on any bounce or movement. Sad cause it's all such a clean setup.
