Nicely done ... amazing technology. Agree on a replaceable antenna ... perhaps an RP-SMA-Female jack sticking up between the 2 PCBs, with lots of glue around it to protect the PCB connections (or use some kind of break-away mount on the quad). Cheers.
@ Canyon Racer; youd need to have it auto power off too, or risk frying TX. Personally I rather replace a smashed antenna than the whole VTX cause i couldn't retrieve my crashed quad in time.
I ordered 2 of them to play around with. Be a couple weeks before I get them. Wish they'd had the mounting plates for them available, but they weren't in stock, so will have to fudge something together. Cheers
You are absolutely correct about the antenna Andy. Saturday, was flying my QX 95 indoors with my RC club. I was suspicious of one motor as it just was not responding right. Flying around I smacked a wall due to a motor failure. Tore the antenna off the Eachine TX03. It was just ripped out and I had actually used epoxy towards the bottom of the antenna to reinforce it. Too messed up to fix and I pitched it. Banggood has these for $18.99 at their Chinese warehouse. I think a very good camera except for the antenna.
I pardonned the pun. I have this camera on a H8 mini and the 25mW allows good flight time. It performs incredibly well in low-light evironment, I use it as "night vision goggles" when walking/searching in dark areas.

Nice bit of kit! The way things are progressing next year should see improvements in picture quality too. Have you tried taking a 5.8 dipole apart and using that instead of the clover leaf. A lot more durable and lighter. Happy Christmas Pal.
Good video! Thank you. I was looking at this camera earlier. I am new to FPV, and have a question, please. I want to put FPV on a fixed wing aircraft. Is the transmitter included as one piece, like the RunCam Spotter, or do I need to purchase a transmitter? Comparison videos indicate the Eachine is a better picture. If so, what transmitter would you recommend? Sorry, total ignorance here. Thank you for your time.
Andy I really enjoy your channel and watch a lot of your videos and take your reviews to be top notch, honest and relay on them for my purchases. I mean NO DISRESPECT & do not want to come across as a ASS so I don't know if it was just me or what but your commentary during the video was very robotic like very mono tone and to be honest a bit annoying (sorry) I almost could not finish it it just was not flowing like most of your videos until the end when you seemed more relaxed it sound much better again I do not mean any disrespect or trying to be mean just something you might want to take note of -Thanks for all the hard work and time you put into making & posting this useful videos two thumbs up!
Scratch that "may have to". -ordered a couple from your link. Banggood is throwing around coupon codes right now too. I must have one on my Crook 110, and perhaps on my Speck 80 as well, though as you know these things migrate as necessary! :D
Another great video, thanks Andy. Just ordered this cam for my qx90c custom rebuild and plan to use it at 50mw to get some additional distance. How would you say this camera image compares to the stock cam/vtx on the QX90C? Thanks for any info! Keep up the great work!
they are very close really dont really need the extra power on the small brushed as it reduces the flight time a little but if u want the range it will do it
Appreciate the information, I am building a 105 size setup out of the qx90c, with 53500kv black motors (8520), just need a bit more range due to the speeds I want to fly, this is in open fields similar to your test area. Thanks again!
+AndyRC I love your vids! I am about to get into fpv and I have a quick question. How do I connect my transmitter and reciver for fpv? Do you put them in the same band, or do you need the same brand electronics? Im just confused

Hey Andy, Whats the biggest battery you would recommend i could use. It doesnt need to be light. I'm not putting it on a drone.
Thanks for the review. Like your channel a lot. One question for this camera: can you change the lens for a narrow fov version? Is it moddable? Also looks like there is a newer version tx05 would be nice if you can compare that one with this. Thanks
Feel any difference with the motor mounts under the arms? Thought since it seems like the jello you had in the camera on the crook earlier is gone now.
Andy, I bought two of these cameras and for some odd reason I get lines through my video when I throttle up. when props are not moving, the quality is great. Any idea what is causing this. I put them on different quads and I get the same result. Thanks for the videos!
what quad are u flying it with? could be that the fc is drawing too much from the cam to power it fully. have u tried turning down to 25mw and see if the issue goes away?
Sorry Andy, it's the TX02 so I cannot change to 25mw. it's happening on both TX02 cameras that I bought and it seems unlikely that BOTH would be defective. I mounted them to tiny whoop, qx95, qx90 and qx90c and it happens to each. the TX01 25mw works perfectly. any help from anybody would be grea!
THANK YOU SIR ,can i use them withe eachine ev800 goggles"without extra tools" ,and what's the characteristics to see to decide if this camera is suitable for my goggles or not
Andy I have a few quads from when I first started like the hubsan x4 which I want to play around with and put a camera on. Are these great for putting on any smallish quads cheers
I know the "docs" claim the current changes with power level, but has anyone checked this? All the reviews say this camera gets pretty hot, so it could be this thing is just dissipating the extra power.
Hi man. I dropped accidentally to the floor and lens unglued from camera perfectly....what a mess. One question, It's my first fpv cam, i notice it focus better to half a meter distance rather to infinite or outdoor flight. Can you clarify?. Thanks!
hi Andy I bought one of these and wanted to use it with my xk 5.8 screen but can't get it to work. Do I Need to know the frequency and band of the display screen to use it?
Hi, I'm pretty new to FPV and drones. Can you please tell me does it make sense to add Eachine TX-03 with external 1s 150mAh battery (total weight of cam and LiPo is about 11 grams) to Hubsan H107P+ (the one with 520mAh battery)? Flight time without load is about 10 minutes so I think if I remove some grams (shell, wings covers etc) it should give me about 6-7 mins of flight time. And will 150 mah LiPo be enough for this cam? Specs say that current consumption is 300 mah in 25mW mode, so this should give 30 mins of power supply for the camera with 150 mAh LiPo, am I correct? Thanks in advance
hi! I want to mod my H36 but I don't know which AIO fpv camera to choose, tx 02 or tx 03? Please help me!! P/s: forgive me if my english is too bad! ;)
Sir is this receiver ROTG01 range good ND I am planning to buy Eachine TX03 . Will these both ROTG01 and TX03 provide me good 300-400m range with good clarity . I am buying it for bugs 2c drone ....plz suggest
i dear i just got my frist fpv goggles vrd2 , and i have also ordered tx 03 camera and waiting when it will arrive , pls guide me few things , with one cell how long this camera work ??? if i use 200mw then how long battery work and if use 25 or 50 mw then how long battery work ?? with 200 mw , what range did you get ??? did you check and what range with 25 or 50 mw ?? how to use camera . pls guide me, may i turn on camera first and set band and frequency ??? and then turn on goggles ? for example if i set band 4 and frequency, for first time , then no need to set the producer again and again ?? only time sitting . hop you guide me with thanks
if the receiver can receive only one channel in the same frequency as the transmitter can transmit, then they are compatible. in practice, any receiver will be compatible.
Just wondering what every ones opinion on CMOS or CCD cameras I personally like CCD ( better picture ? Also I would buy this cam but I think the ant will get smashed first thing right off the bat?!!!
first! i dont like those cheap aio cameras so i made my own 5 gram aio fpv with the cheap 170 degree camera and small 25mw tx from banggood so now i can buy spare parts for it and it only cost 17€
Nicely done ... amazing technology. Agree on a replaceable antenna ... perhaps an RP-SMA-Female jack sticking up between the 2 PCBs, with lots of glue around it to protect the PCB connections (or use some kind of break-away mount on the quad). Cheers.
yep agreed thanks Bill
Bill I think it's time someone designs a break-away antenna connection, perhaps a short 2pc adapter initially!
@ Canyon Racer; youd need to have it auto power off too, or risk frying TX. Personally I rather replace a smashed antenna than the whole VTX cause i couldn't retrieve my crashed quad in time.
Your so right, forgot about that "small" detail!
I ordered 2 of them to play around with. Be a couple weeks before I get them. Wish they'd had the mounting plates for them available, but they weren't in stock, so will have to fudge something together. Cheers

the antenna is like that as its best for reception but not good for crashes :(
Ha, well, I dug the camera out of the trash and ordered some antennas. I think fixable. I placed the original 25 mw antenna back on.
The camera is adjusting it's exposure to the sky. It needs to be shaded, perhaps? Or maybe tilted slightly downwards.
I pardonned the pun.
I have this camera on a H8 mini and the 25mW allows good flight time.
It performs incredibly well in low-light evironment, I use it as "night vision goggles" when walking/searching in dark areas.
great yes its amazing what these can do
Seeing as my AIOs consist of the fat heavy old EF-01 I may have to look into this!
Merriest of Christmases, Andy!
Merry Xmas Michael yes its a nice one although i like the ef01 with the case off
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year Andy..
merry xmas Tony thanks for watching
that's not bad light handling for a cmos! Nice one Andy, great channel :)
Thanks yes I agree

+Dazzle Kernow happy Christmas yes I think dipole is the way to go with these

I ordered this 10 days ago from CN warehouse. Still waiting it to arrive in east coast US. I want to put it on the wltoys v977 heli.
10 days is pretty normal iv waited up to 4 weeks from china
It's perfect for my backyard 150 brushless with 3" props
all the best wishes Andy. some excellent content.
Thanks a lot Phil merry xmas
would be good if it also received as well, say the signal strength and auto ups the power as you get further away...

haha same here Michael. they sent me one then ordered three for my other quads haha
Another great video, thanks Andy. Just ordered this cam for my qx90c custom rebuild and plan to use it at 50mw to get some additional distance. How would you say this camera image compares to the stock cam/vtx on the QX90C? Thanks for any info! Keep up the great work!

Could you tell me what kind of adapter you used between the camera and battery pls..
Great channel btw..👍
I Could Definitely Use That Cam AndyRc, Good Job with the Review, and Happy Holidays
Cheers Aces! thanks for watching and commenting this year
It should be mentioned that the red wire is Negative and the black wire is Positive.
Check it out on the above purchase link before you connect up.
Ignore the purchase link, I got one and red is positive.
Happy X Mas Andy
happy cmas :)
+AndyRC I love your vids! I am about to get into fpv and I have a quick question. How do I connect my transmitter and reciver for fpv? Do you put them in the same band, or do you need the same brand electronics? Im just confused
Hey Andy,
Whats the biggest battery you would recommend i could use. It doesnt need to be light. I'm not putting it on a drone.
there is no limit to capacity only voltage so it can be the biggest 1s u can find
Thanks for the review. Like your channel a lot. One question for this camera: can you change the lens for a narrow fov version? Is it moddable? Also looks like there is a newer version tx05 would be nice if you can compare that one with this. Thanks
+AndyRC nice video! is there a way i can hook up an osd to this aio camera?
No, but look at this: ruclips.net/video/gzFh81Y74O0/видео.html
Feel any difference with the motor mounts under the arms? Thought since it seems like the jello you had in the camera on the crook earlier is gone now.
the jello is gone because its a duller day. bright sunlight causes the rolling shutter issue. personally i prefer the mounts on the top
Could I waterproof this with Corrosion X? Also, where did you get the connectors from?
What is the best way to install this camera on the plane as it generates so much heat
Just wondering how many pins the camera's battery connector has? I know it's a Molex 1.25 and they can have various different numbers of pins.
Lossy adaptor?
Hello Andy, do you think this would work good on a micro RC like a Mini z style car.
Does this need the whip to plug into battery? or ready to go?
Can you make a video about the Eachine DVR03? It seems interesting, but im not buying until someone i trust verifies that its good
yes i have it coming up thanks
Andy, I bought two of these cameras and for some odd reason I get lines through my video when I throttle up. when props are not moving, the quality is great. Any idea what is causing this. I put them on different quads and I get the same result. Thanks for the videos!
what quad are u flying it with? could be that the fc is drawing too much from the cam to power it fully. have u tried turning down to 25mw and see if the issue goes away?
I replaced the camera on my QX90c that had the tadpoles issue. The camera went straight out of the box, and on to the quad.
Did you call it a "lousy" adaptor at 3:55 ? I hope not, hehe.
micro losi
THANK YOU SIR ,can i use them withe eachine ev800 goggles"without extra tools" ,and what's the characteristics to see to decide if this camera is suitable for my goggles or not
How Hot will it get with 200mw rating?
Merry Christmas Andy.
+Anuj Kapoor well hold it for too long and it will burn you for sure
Andy I have a few quads from when I first started like the hubsan x4 which I want to play around with and put a camera on. Are these great for putting on any smallish quads cheers
yes perfect for those cheers
I know the "docs" claim the current changes with power level, but has anyone checked this? All the reviews say this camera gets pretty hot, so it could be this thing is just dissipating the extra power.
does it have adio?
I recently purchased this camera with the eachine goggles 2 and cannot get them to work. any suggestions
Work it with a microphone?
Will this work with E011?
Hi man. I dropped accidentally to the floor and lens unglued from camera perfectly....what a mess. One question, It's my first fpv cam, i notice it focus better to half a meter distance rather to infinite or outdoor flight. Can you clarify?. Thanks!
hi Andy
I bought one of these and wanted to use it with my xk 5.8 screen but can't get it to work. Do I Need to know the frequency and band of the display screen to use it?
Andy will this camera work with the eachine goggles two??
yes it will cheers
I've tried everything and can't seem to get it to work. It seems like it's on the wrong Channel wondering if there is an issue with the fpv goggles
What is the battery voltage?
Do you know how much range you get using this camera with the furibee vr 01 goggles?
same as any other video receiver
Which battery fits this ? Also could I wire it up to any 5v ? Thanks.
is this 1080p???
no its standard def
no its obviously 108432k
hey andyrc...love ur videos..i bought a tx02 and i have a f450 with apm.so how could i use tx02 with it..im using a 3s lipo...thanks
Just carry one more 500mah battery
Hi, I'm pretty new to FPV and drones. Can you please tell me does it make sense to add Eachine TX-03 with external 1s 150mAh battery (total weight of cam and LiPo is about 11 grams) to Hubsan H107P+ (the one with 520mAh battery)? Seriously can I use this module on JJRC H36?
hi! I want to mod my H36 but I don't know which AIO fpv camera to choose, tx 02 or tx 03? Please help me!!
P/s: forgive me if my english is too bad! ;)
Hey bro
I have a problem with my tx 03
Not detected from my ev100
hi, can you instroduce me what kind of battery you use for this TX02? what mah if I need to sustain 30mins of operation? thanks
Black wire is + red wire Gnd
,my caméra is off am I wrong in wiring
Mine only seems to have 2 power options. Either zero, or 2 bars, which I presume is 50mW. Any body any idea why?
Sir is this receiver ROTG01 range good ND I am planning to buy Eachine TX03 . Will these both ROTG01 and TX03 provide me good 300-400m range with good clarity . I am buying it for bugs 2c drone ....plz suggest

How can I see fpv translation from this cam? How to connect display, or this cam have app for IOS?
Hello bro, what does mw affects?? Range??
Yes, range and power consumption
Hi sir what is the maximum range of the cam?
It depends on the receiver but with my vr007 I am able to get about 300-400 meters
What is a compatible RECEIVER for this? One that also has 72 channels?
if the receiver can receive only one channel in the same frequency as the transmitter can transmit, then they are compatible. in practice, any receiver will be compatible.
FDΩ Don , Hi friend, hi Andy , do you think this camera 🎥 can works with my H107D video transmitter? Thank you.
Just wondering what every ones opinion on CMOS or CCD cameras I personally like CCD ( better picture ? Also I would buy this cam but I think the ant will get smashed first thing right off the bat?!!!
can i use it on my andriod phone using EACHINE ROTG.??.?,
Can I add microphone on it and get audio from it ...
Shahed Ahmed anyone please help
what poer output for a tiny whoop furibee f36?
25mw for a whoop
Hey! Can anyone tell me where i can buy this adapter from the TX03 to the 1S Lipo? I cant find it... :(
Did u find the adapter needed?
Happy Chistmas!
merry xmas to you!
Happy Crimbo Andy,,, Looks like a slight fish eye affect from the camera lens or is that just me !!!
Can this be powered from a RX also??
Eric Bennett Yes. You can use the 5v from the ESC.
first! i dont like those cheap aio cameras so i made my own 5 gram aio fpv with the cheap 170 degree camera and small 25mw tx from banggood so now i can buy spare parts for it and it only cost 17€
nice! yes I have done that in the past also.
Hey, is your camera getting hot?
Bastiaan Jansen there: 5:36
every camera gets hot after long usage i have a tiny whoop and its camera is getting hot
it pulls almost 0.9amp
i s that normal
I have this same camera yet I only have power modes 0 and two lines,,,,weird
maybe one of the leds is faulty do you get two presses of 2 lines? if so its likely in the second press the third led should light up
Как она вообще стоит своих денег???
