I'm glad to see another reviewer that actually buys what he reviews and does and honest job of pointing out the good stuff and the flaws. Unfortunately Banggood will not publish bad reviews and this really irritates me because their goggles just plain suck. Apparently all Chinese are either near sighted or they believe their customers are.
They are getting better on issues reguarding defective merchandise. I had no problems with customer service. they do expect a video of the problem and a picture of the shipping label but now days anyone with a decent I phone can do that. I have to say, they are trying to change their image. Yes you are right about their reviews. Thats why we watch these reviews.
I found pretty damn good price on this site. www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX02-Super-Mini-AIO-5_8G-40CH-200mW-VTX-600TVL-14-Cmos-FPV-Camera-p-1088368.html?p=B4200913385416201708 I hope this will help you ruclips.net/video/811IZ8GLHDw/видео.html
Morning Yaroslaw, the MC02, it's been left for the desk only for testing, if being used indoors or in consistent lighting it would be ok, but for what I wanted it for, it was a a bit of a fail. The TX02, I was trying to make it fit in that 180mm quad last night :D Yea it has a slight distorted lens and gets hot, but most things I fly move fast & it would get a decent amount of cooling. Matt
Love you reviews Matt! Super informative and you take all the guessing/stress out of wandering "will this work" for its intended use. Cheers buddy! -Jamie
Thanks for the review. Just built a micro brushed quad today and used Version 1.0 of the Camera that weighs 9 grams. Version 1 is to heavy. I ordered several of these, so hopefully will be better.
nice thorough review. looking forward to seeing what you fly it on. we fly micros outdoors usually within 100m range and 25mw is working but borderline at times. the 200mw is attractive but I wonder what will happen to flight time with that much current draw.
Morning Mike, yea it would go down very quickly with that amount of current. For indoors I'd stick to a 25mW one as you'll never need the extra range indoors. Matt
Any chance you've been able to test whether or not it has an LC Filter like the FX798t so we could plug this on top of a TinyWhoop (perhaps the 25mw version for that - but I assume the same construction).
where is the range/obstacle, how it flies behind a bush or behind the house? How sturdy is the antenna, my EF-01 didnt last too long before i had to swap antenna on it
Howdy Lasse, I have been flying it in the woods as shown in the video and it's been fine, even up to the end of the path, with obvious "sketchyness" when going behind trees as you'd expect. The atenna is holding up well, I've had to re-straighten it a couple of times so far, but it's the flexible cable thankfully! Hope that helps Lasse :) Matt
I saw you holding it in your hand while walking in the woods (stable, slow movement no motor noise in the current. I'v had great image from my 25mw device when i had it stable on my hand without arming quad, but when i fly and do sudden moves it affects picture quality and thats why this feels like you havent dont "real world test" this is more like "optimal situation" which it never is in real life..
Well my overseas friend just subscribed to your chanel and just mounted this to my parrot mambo and wired it to the grabber ports. This is my first fpv experience and it worked well with a toy grade monitor i had but it did eat up the flight time! Would you use an external bat. Giving it more weight vs the internal proprietary bat to power it?
Think I'm still going with the MC02. Mine doesn't have the dynamic range issue yours has, image color and sharpness is also better. The mic seals the deal, plus it doesn't get overly hot.
Morning James! PHEW! Yep I fully appreciate the mic would be a big one, I was fitting a 5V mic to one of my FPV wings the other day, as it would help hearing the motor noise more clearly. I'm glad yours is working ok for you. Matt
Howdy Andy, I know there are others out there, but those VR-007 goggles, I like them! I've got an unboxing of the VR-009's that arrived, Craig rates them highly and they do work well. Hope that helps! Matt
Hi Matt, I have not found your channel before, but for what I saw it was very good, I have just purchased hubsan h502e quad and thinking of putting fvp on it, that eachine tx02 camera looks good, the only thing is fitting a monitor to the game look controller, do you have any thoughts on fitting monitor to it?
Hey Matt: What is the diameter of the threaded area of the lens in mm? The antenna coax seems a little shorter than the other Eachine AIO cam/VTx systems. What do you think of that coax? Is it flexible? Will it hold the position that you bend it to? Thanks. Jim
Question : I just bought a Syma x11c mini quad which has a pretty good 720p camera . The camera records to the quad , but it has no FPV . Can you split the wires from the stock camera and add a VTX without harming the original camera operation , and therefore get FPV with minimal weight added ? Because if that works , all your old camera drones , can be made into FPV drones just by splitting wires . I look forward to hearing your opinion . Thanks !
Morning Marcos, not that I'm aware of. Something like the Eachine MC01 which has video out & in on it's main lead could do it. Hope that helps Marcos, Matt
Sir? Suppose i'm soldering the cam in my tarantula x1505 drone(which i owned right now), how (many mah of battery and how much weight of battery) will i be able to use to fly the drone around 5 mins?. That cam is still in shipment right now and i found this video very exciting and i was hoping that you could help me do the calculations. I owned a 700mah battery..a lipo battery, will this be enough to just enjoy the flight and the fpv system? Please reply
Was almost going to buy the MC02 except the light handling put me off, I like it has a 1/3 CMOS, the TX02 only has a 1/4 correct? Do you notice? How would you compare the two? Or should I be looking at the tx03 because of power consumption etc? Thanks for all the info :)
Morning, DO NOT BUY the MC02, see my review on that (click my name for the channel), bloody dangerous thing. OK for indoors flying, but definitely not outdoors. I liked the TX03 more than the TX02 because of the less fish-eye effect and the option to select power levels, hope that helps Erebus, Matt
Haha yeah after posting this, 3 minutes later saw your other videos and went with the tx03 also! haha :P Also grabbed a Eachine vr008 with dual antennas with the intent of replacing it and using as a spare for spectators/backup I like the tx03, seems to appear to handle light better.
Howdy fella, absolutely no idea as I've never used a "eachine rc832 receiver", however if it's a standard FPV receiver then the majority of channels should work, they're all standard ones. Hope that helps! Matt
Hello! I am very new to the RC world and am interested in modding my Eachine H8 mini drone to an FPV setup. Is the TX02 still a good camera in 2020, or are there better options to consider?
Hey Matthew, i'm up in lincolnshire and looking to get into fpv, your reviews are excellent, can you reccomend the best camera eachine does, the mc01 looks great but its only 25mw compared to the 200mw of the tx02. i will be wanting to fly long distance on my sail plane. Cheers
So this would work with go fov, and rotgo1. Excellent, I tried to use go fpv on the Hubsan to see it it would find the channel to the h107c and it did not work. Why is that?
my tx02 had delay to transmit picture, when I plug the 1s lipo, I have to wait for about 1 minute to sudenly transmite picture appear on my monitor. Do you know how to fix this? or mine is faulty one? thanks
Good morning Irwan, I'm not sure fella. That doesn't sound right so I'd suggest you get in touch with Banggood support & see what they say. Also I'd check it on 5V through a BEC (if using a larger battery) or a boost converter if staying with 1S and see if that makes any difference. Hope that helps Irwan! Matt
My tx03 shows an horizontally mirrored image when showed on an android smartphone using a Eachine ROTG02 receiver. Do you people know any solution for that? Thanks!
Howdy, probably not very long as this one eats the current on it for a last time, you would be better off with a Eachine MC01 or similar as doesn't draw soo much current. Hope that helps! Matt
Steve, thats one the most sensible question I've had on this video! 200m range with a 25mW Tx would be fine. Personally I would suggest you use one with a higher or at least switchable power option should you wish to go further or higher (200M away, 200M up is actually 282M away) and also frankly speaking, FPV is addictive, you'll want to fly with more range within a flight or two. Hope that helps Steve, Matt
I just ordered one from Banggood, kinda excited to get into FPV. I do want a better camara and transmitter for my bigger planes, but for the price of what they go for,who can ask for more. I think they are selling them like hot cakes lol.
Morning Scott, these TX02's are great as you can mount them on pretty much any model. If you're looking for a more serious camera, the RunCam Swift is by afr the best camera I have come across to date. Gearbest sent me one to review here goo.gl/JR99Jz I already ahve one and know how well it performs. Hope that helps Scott. Matt
Built this into a micro quad tonight. Anything over half throttle and the image gets annihalated by black line interference. You tried yours in a build yet?
Morning Justin, not on a quad yet, but on a flying wing and I didn't get any hint of black lines on mine, but I was using a small BEC to power it and it was quite far from anything noisy. Maybe popping a toroid on the power line might help? Matt
hello, thanks for the video ! I want to buy this camera for my eachine h8 mini, do you think it will be ok with 1s 260 mah batterie of the h8 ? or should i buy the tx01 version with 25mw tx ?
Howdy DW, personally I'd not suggest it, even by extending the H8 antenna's you still won't need 200mw. Go for the MC01 instead, about the same price and a lot less current draw (soa longer flight). Hope that helps fella, Matt
Howdy Alex, I don't believe they're making a PAL version. If you check the comments section on the product page here goo.gl/HnfHrs Banggood support say there is only a NTSC version. Hope that helps Alex! Matt
Alex Castignani Howdy Alex, yes thats correct, but the video system makes no difference as it's only TV, DVD's etc... that are affected, not FPV systems (ignoring that PAL is generally a better format). Matt
Matthew Ogborne I don't like the fact that the plus an minus Are so close together on the board check it out if you've not noticed . I think some ppl have plugged in an burnt them out.
Howdy Mihkel, just seen your comment! Not sure on the 650tvl cameras to be honest you'd be stretched to see ANY difference between a 600 and a 1000tvl line camera as the max you'll see is at 650tvl. Hope that makes sense Mihkel, Matt
Manu, this one goo.gl/1SaFvm it's tiny & works well. I have two of these in two models, the one that springs to mind is that it does the 5V for the FPV camera in the mini Skywalker. And yep the TX02 was bought out of my own money, I do like to stress points like that in reviews as it was bought for me. The extra power for it's size really did perk my interest in that one, hence why I bought it. Matt
Matthew Ogborne i do have one more question, i am going to make my own drone and should i connect the camera to the motherboard or should i add a different battery to it
Howdy, check the video description above, range testing is subjective, for example no-antenna compared to a 9 turn helical pointed at the vTx from 5 miles away. So with that in mine, with normal decent antennas, 900M probably more depending on whats in the way. Matt
TarsRC no idea, as it depends on your receiving device, eg normal goggles with a rubber ducky antenna, compared to a clover leaf, compared to a flat plate antenna or helical antenna. The MC01 which was only 25mW went for way over 600M, so this one, way more than that, to the point it would be really out of sight. Matt
Great honest review, i had already purchased this camera before i saw your review but now i am glad i did, when it arrives i intend to mount it onto a bugs 3 quadcopter , the bugs 3 comes with a spare mini jst connector there is a photo and description of this jst here www.drone-maniac.com/test-mjx-bugs-3-the-perfect-first-brushless-entry-model/. would this camera work off this connector or would i need to run it from the balance charger of the 2s battery of the quad, also if i was to install the camera into the nose of the bugs3 and cover over the antenna of the camera with the topcover of the quad, how much range should i expect to lose because of this? thanks.
Hello Friend! I bought a camera Eachine TX-02. I have a question after watching your video. From 15:50 you shot a video on a camera, that’s clear. But on which device the sound was recorded. The fact is that my camera (no one has yet been able to explain - the dog is a seller) is there a problem with the swook marriage. During recording - phonite (sound) are examples. direct viewing (drive.google.com/open?id=1BaKTBM-7TO5CMldAzHDGG00J31hclfM4) and the recorded file "CAUTION VERY LOUDLY" (drive.google.com/open?id=1BbU5ddtzg06e29HTaTT6-14.
Howdy fella, there is no case on these and I've had no issues with any of mu AIO cameras not having cases. A case won't save them from heavy impacts into trees and the ground ;) Matt
Morning Chris, I certainly did and right now it's mounted on the T-Tail of my BFG glider. Just imagine the FPV experience of being able to fly from the tail of a model plane, it's going to be brilliant! Matt
Howdy Milos, they need a lot of cooling on them. Since that one came out there is a TX03 that is switchable and doesn;t get as hot as the TX02. Hope that helps Milos, Matt
Good morning Shozzy, yes thats correct it's NTSC and no PAL on this one. If you see the comments back from Banggood in the customer questions, it didn't look like they were bringing out a PAL version, which is why i went for this one. Matt
Howdy Trey, no. You'd also not want a wifi FPV camera as the range is typically terrible. This one runs on 5.8Ghz which is the norm for most FPV systems. Hoppe that helps! Matt
I'm glad to see another reviewer that actually buys what he reviews and does and honest job of pointing out the good stuff and the flaws. Unfortunately Banggood will not publish bad reviews and this really irritates me because their goggles just plain suck. Morning Jon, I did like this one a lot, it's power hungry but gives great reception without the need for a diversity receiver! Matt
Woah, , it already has lens distortion correction built in. That's impressive.
Thanks for a great video from one of your fans in Israel, just bought the camera any recommendations for a small battery for it?
Morning, depends on the model really, I'd go for a decent sized battery, that fits well into the model. Matt
Thanks :)

Thanks for a great review Matt,
Mine is going on a foamie Flash fixed wing model :)
Looks like a great budget and light weight all in one FPV cam. What would you pair that with by way of a budget headset?
Howdy Andy, I know there are others out there, but those VR-007 goggles, I like them! I've got an unboxing of the VR-009's that arrived, Craig rates them highly and they do work well. Hope that helps! Matt
Thanks Matt. I'm Andy by the way!:-)
Howdy Andy, oopsy. My bad! Updated the comment & of course apologies.
Howdy Byron, I'd suggest a headset rather than a screen. Much easier to use and a lot more immersive too. Hope that helps! Matt
Hi Matt, I dont like headsets but thank you for getting back to me when I get it sorted I will get back to you.bryon.
hi! thanks for your review. I have a quick question. can i pair this cam with 5ghz wifi phone and vr glasses instead of buying goggles?
No you would need a special adapter. Something I've never tried. Matt

Hi Matt!
What is the power pack one should use if you are powering this camera not in a drone? Would I buy a power pack and step it down to 3.5 - 5v?
Hi, it is possible to hack it in order to use a microminimosd? By the way, thanks for such an useful review.!!!
Regards
Morning Marcos, not that I'm aware of. Something like the Eachine MC01 which has video out & in on it's main lead could do it. Hope that helps Marcos, Matt

HI. Nice video. Can you tell me if it will work with eachine rc832 receiver? Thank you
Howdy fella, absolutely no idea as I've never used a "eachine rc832 receiver", however if it's a standard FPV receiver then the majority of channels should work, they're all standard ones. Hope that helps! Matt
Hello! I am very new to the RC world and am interested in modding my Eachine H8 mini drone to an FPV setup. Is the TX02 still a good camera in 2020, or are there better options to consider?

Hello,I'd like to know a discription of the battery for the TX01?
Does this camera have a slot for a card so I can watch my flights on my TV?
My tx03 shows an horizontally mirrored image when showed on an android smartphone using a Eachine ROTG02 receiver. Do you people know any solution for that? Thanks!
i bought a tx02 and i have a f450 with apm.so how could i use tx02 with it..im using a 3s lipo...thanks
i would like to tap an OSD into mine...which pin would you say is the video?
Is there a memory card slot present? If not please recommend me some fpv aio camera with built in memory card slot
can i use 3.7 1000mah li-po battery for tx02. and what is your recommendations for a battery for it (i want about 1h working time).
Is it compatible with eachine ev800 5.8 fpv goggles?
Nice review! How long it will work with my Eachine H8 Mini (upgraded Battery 3.7V 260mAh) ???
Howdy, probably not very long as this one eats the current on it for a last time, you would be better off with a Eachine MC01 or similar as doesn't draw soo much current. Hope that helps! Matt
Thank you!
Nice review Matthew Ogborne
Good morning Paulie, thank you! Matt
What is that connector called for camera/battery terminal?
Can these also be connected to your phone (Samsung Galaxy)?
Morning, I have absolutely no idea, Matt
for outdoor use at about 200m range would you go with this or a 25mW unit? thanks
I got the tx03 with switchable Mw, I just hope it is as good as this one
Morning, I have one of those on my desk right now! :)
Nice! what is you opinion of it?
JustForFun RC You'll see later today once the episode is edited up. I just posted some raw DVR footage in the FB group too. Matt
great! cant wait :D
I just ordered one from Banggood, kinda excited to get into FPV. I do want a better camara and transmitter for my bigger planes, but for the price of what they go for,who can ask for more. I think they are selling them like hot cakes lol.

can I cut the wire and connects it to the receiver with a servo connector? 5v.
Hi Dan,
I woulnd't recommend that as You will get distortion from the RX
thanks for the strait up review

but happy days haha ;-) :p
Howdy, oh happy days! Matt

Hi, where is the link for the BEC?
And just curious, did you buy this with your own money? :P
thanks
Manu, oops forgot the BEC link, let me find that tiny little one I've been using, brb in 2 mins. Matt
Manu, this one goo.gl/1SaFvm it's tiny & works well. I have two of these in two models, the one that springs to mind is that it does the 5V for the FPV camera in the mini Skywalker. nice video, thnx a lot. im going to buy it to.
Howdy Sven, it's a good little camera, Matt
Matthew Ogborne i do have one more question, i am going to make my own drone and should i connect the camera to the motherboard or should i add a different battery to it
hi is it normal for it to get really hot?
Which battery fits this ? Also could I wire it up to any 5v ? Thanks.
Morning, this video is quite old now and frankly I've forgotten the requirements. See the BG page for the details and 5V is 5V! Matt
what distance would you get with that cam?
Howdy, check the video description above, range testing is subjective, for example no-antenna compared to a 9 turn helical pointed at the vTx from 5 miles away. So with that in mine, with normal decent antennas, 900M probably more depending on whats in the way. Matt
Does the tx02 have wifi?
"Thanks for a great video from one of your fans in Israel
Good morning Dav, thank you :) Matt
Amazing!
TarsRC Howdy fella, hope the video helps. I'll be strapping this one to a balsa wood board and using it on the DW wing and the Bonsai on Sunday. Matt
beautiful, can you soon tell me the range of that bad boy? thanks
During recording - phonite (sound) are examples. direct viewing (drive.google.com/open?id=1BaKTBM-7TO5CMldAzHDGG00J31hclfM4) and the recorded file "CAUTION VERY LOUDLY" (drive.google.com/open?id=1BbU5ddtzg06e29HTaTT6-14.
cuanto alcance tiene??
Hi Mate can I connect OSD to it ?
Thanks
Howdy fella, I might be wrong, but I don't believe it has a AV out to connect a OSD to it. Matt
Ok mate , thank for the input , have a good day mate :)
i guess you can run this camera off your receiver?
Yep you can do indeedy! Matt
Dose anyone agree that adding 5volts to the vtx give it more transmitting power
Morning Hunter, thats not how it works. Anything more than the suggested input voltage and you'll be getting closer to magic pixie smoke. Matt
RagTheNutsOff but it says the max voltage is 5.5 bolts
This connect to smart phone
Where is the case? Who would buy a camera where the boards are open to the elements?
Howdy fella, there is no case on these and I've had no issues with any of mu AIO cameras not having cases. A case won't save them from heavy impacts into trees and the ground ;) Matt
I think he likes this camera. thumbs up.. oh and remember HE paid for it out of his own money
Morning Chris, I certainly did and right now it's mounted on the T-Tail of my BFG glider. Just imagine the FPV experience of being able to fly from the tail of a model plane, it's going to be brilliant! Matt
why is too hot on 3.7v 600mah battery?
Howdy Milos, they need a lot of cooling on them. Since that one came out there is a TX03 that is switchable and doesn;t get as hot as the TX02. Hope that helps Milos, Matt
Matthew Ogborne can it burn?
why it smells like burned? Ty mate :)
Thanks for the video. I will order one from banggood
Howdy James, they work great. I was using mine on the weekend on an EPP Eagle :) Matt
Wow nice... can I have one of that?
Mine gets hot what’s the problem
Nothing, they do get hot, hence you have to make sure they have good airflow over them. Matt
But it melts hot glue
Not as small as the eachine EF02 :-)
Morning Jasiel, not as kak either ;) Matt
I buy all my stuff with my own money lol :)
Ima put this in an rc glider
Do u want the negative or positive comments ? :)
Just to confirm this is not pal compatible
Good morning Shozzy, yes thats correct it's NTSC and no PAL on this one. If you see the comments back from Banggood in the customer questions, it didn't look like they were bringing out a PAL version, which is why i went for this one. Matt
Nice review, but please go trim your nails please!
Hey Luiz, can you trim your butt hair before commenting please. Thanks!
Can I cut the wire and solder it to the tower directly?
Sir can we use this with otg fpv receiver
Does the tx02 have wifi?
Howdy Trey, no. You'd also not want a wifi FPV camera as the range is typically terrible. This one runs on 5.8Ghz which is the norm for most FPV systems. Hoppe that helps! Matt
