@@bassmansbountyfishing its just the same here where i am in devon thousands of pin whiting and tiny tiny tiny goldfish but no cod hardly any big eels big huss or big fish gotta go to tq or brixham as its deeper water and even then the fishing has been..... Strange... no mackerel during the day but when night comes round the harbours are FILLED with sardine herrin mackerel and bass been happening all over winter going down maybe once a month and catching shit tons on the little sibikis
I remember fishing there a couple of years ago and it started raining, and it was tipping it down, I got soaked and what made it worse was that the road was completely flooded and the water was coming down the road like a river..was bloody scary!
have you ever tried prawle point ? good low tide spot bud worth a poke, free parking, short walk and easy too get down on to the rocks, just keep an eye on the tide as it can cut you off 😉
I notice the large circle hook is at the bottom and not the top of the bait like all others seem to use. Does this still work the same. I have never used them, jury is still out

Definitely beach shelter weather. Big baits mean long spells sat back usually in the shelter out of the worst if it.
