Great series! I couldn't help but come to a similar conclusion after say dreaming about what I would do with a billion dollars.
Interestingly enough, what inspired the thought was a listicle about how Gen. Z is the laziest in the workforce. One individual said that they would become an influencer.
My initial thought to this was "What? Why on earth would you want that?" Then I started to think about what I would do with that kind of money.
Things like paying for my wedding, and getting rid of my debt comes first. Then sitting down to determine how much one would need to survive comfortably from now to the day that I supposedly might die, and Setting that aside for those expenses. Property tax, bills, food, etc.
Then what I do with the remaining several million? Beyond taking care of those closest to me, my dream would be to invest in opening my own hospital. Opening a library for antique books, or opening a museum to house priceless artworks.
Combing all three would be immensely cool. That is just my dream though of what I would do to give back if I had near unlimited money.
