Hi, I saw several videos detailing how vfx artists eventually become burned out and have no work-life balance. How is this still true after the pandemic, is it possible to do remote vfx work at your home? I hope you can address this topic. Thank you

Sir do you composite on ae? What is the scope of ae in Compositing field? Here in India, nuke is mainly used for comp

I do composite in AE, most of the freelance jobs, they won't mind what you use, so you could use AE, Nuke or Fusion, but if it's an in-studio job, they might have a preference, so some studios I worked at (some lasted as long as 9 months, in-studio but still freelance) and only in a few they asked to use Nuke. I do prefer to use AE though. :)

fam…you are not using that mac to edit 😭 first rule of being a VFX artist should be dont use a damn mac, terrible processors for vfx of any kind

Haha I don't use that Mac (it's a 2013, it was so I could read the script I wrote for the video haha), I use Windows for VFX work - but it's a bit of a mix now since got the M1 Macbook! I actually know quite a few compositors who has been using Macbooks on large productions, even for liquid simulations. Sadly, super expensive work machines, but can do the job somewhat! :)
