I had it happen to me. A friend of mine asked me if I ever had a dream. I told him I have always wanted to go to Scotland. Asked me if I owned a passport. I said no, I didn't. He told me to get one as I would never know if the opportunity would arise. I did and two months later I was woken up with "Come on get your A### out of bed. I had no idea what he was up to and there were a few expletives from me. We left and I had no idea until we arrived at the airport. I actually cried with joy. Six weeks later we flew home to Sydney. So I have a pretty good feeling how these people must have felt afterwards. It's true, be prepared coz you really have to seize the moment. That's where life is. Thank you guys for the few I've seen so far.

What you do is amazing. I can tell you as someone creative who lived in poverty, settled for jobs, and put off her dreams, but is finally going for her dreams (which happen to be mostly in Italy), this must mean so much to people.

The greatest thing that’s happened as a Papa Johns Delivery driver was when I got a $20 tip from these people who had “2020 Grad” from the same high school I graduated from this year. Was pretty lit. I also had a delivery in my neighborhood and they gave me a $20 tip also because I graduated this year. I should get a 2020 Northwest High School graduate bumper sticker to get more tips lol

I purposely did this same thing with my wife back in 2017 when I was going through venice! The city is like a maze and aside from the crazy amounts of people, it's an unbelievable place to visit. We had started at the entrance where the train was and just wandered until we found the city center. 10/10 will be back to Italy again one day. Ive only ventured to see around 15 countries but hope to visit all of them as time goes by. Hope to run into you guys also!

Aside from obtaining my passport, over the last few years I've been adjusting slowly to a more minimalistic lifestyle.
After my mother passed away I hoarded her belongings and my own.
Now I am in the process of shedding a large percentage of unnecessary material possessions.
Making sure everything or most of the things I own serve a specific purpose and unburdening myself of all this dead weight means that I am more mobile and can pick up and go whenever I want to. 💪💪💪
