This screen itself is not Chiffon. The white screen is a cheap solid white vinyl shower curtain from WalMart www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Basic-Shower-Liner-Clear/150438611 The Chiffon is black and came from Amazon www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WKTYV0O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Dense frosting or this scrim trick are better for daytime projection since they pass more light from the projector and don't have as much trouble with blacks looking bad. But for nighttime you want the clearer option with less frosting, so you get better blacks.
I found some material on eBay that looks the same as the atmosfx material (for the holographic scenes) if I give you the ebay number could you look at it as they give a super close up of the thread count and let me know if it’s worth buying?
Sure I'll look at it. But I'm starting to think people are getting too obsessive over finding the "perfect" material. I prefer chiffon, others prefer Hollusion material, others like voile, some like tulle, on and on and on. I'm starting to think anything sheer with a reasonably tight weave in a medium gray shade would be fine.
JCO I am totally new too this and I wasn’t going to pay for postage again too ship the material, and my problem is more the clock is ticking and I don’t have time to try out 10 different fabrics and wait for shipping from all over the world. But yeah I have read on the forums and people are out of control over the perfect material. 112163922273
Hold a gun to my head, I'd pick this: www.amazon.com/Solid-Chiffon-Fabric-Polyester-Colors/dp/B0719G6DZJ/ref=sr_1_4?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1507899254&sr=1-4&keywords=gray+chiffon+fabric&refinements=p_72%3A2638180011 Its $16 (shipping included) for five yards (less than half the price of Casa Collection Chiffon from JoAnn's).
Good work man!!!

Great tip! How many lumens is your projector?

What would you go with a white shower curtain or clear frosted ??. And many thanks for any advice. Im a first timer for indoor on windows.
Solid white. This is exactly what I use: www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Light-Weight-Shower-Liner-White/104751382
Go with frosted MUCH better results!

JCO caved in and just purchased it from atmosfx, just seemed a lot easier and less stress. Thanks for your thoughts.
