I have three pieces of advice based on what I’ve seen: 1. Do not open random doors you encounter. 2. If you must open a door and walk through it, close the fucking door behind you. 3. Run faster.
The problem with MOST backroom videos is that the uploaders put way too much emphasis on just walking around and exploring. That's alright for a while....but it's the monsters and the monsters and the MONSTERS that put asses in the seats. You have perfected the art. I'm on board now.
@leociresi4292 I agree. But I've seen way too many horror movies and had way too many jump scare to make me react easily these days. So if anything makes my butt pucker it's gets my seal of approval.
It'd be a lot better without spending so much screen time on the obnoxious entities. I'd much prefer to see more of the beautiful set pieces, instead of starting over from a brand new camera drop every thirty seconds.
I don't know about you, but I think entities in the Backrooms adds to the horror at level !. Not only are you on your lonesome, but you have to deal with entities that are looking to do untold things to you. That makes the Backrooms more level fun in my opinion
@@dixonuranus8099 I think you hit the nail on the head right there, bud. *UNTOLD* horrors. Think back to any monster movie you've ever seen....how well do they hold up? Not well, I'd imagine. We fear the unknown...the more you see of the entities, the more hokey they appear, which is why so many creators resort to cheap jumpscares. I'm not against the idea that there are potentially hostile entities in the backrooms, but the less we hear and see of them, the scarier they are...wouldn't you agree?
This is the fish scale of backrooms 👍🏻 I didn't feel like a 3ft tall person walking in cold molasses. Great, non-boring design and the best part - variety!
I think showing the monsters is usually quite boring. What is most horrifying, to me, is the sense of unknown. Once you reveal something, it becomes known, and then you lose a massive element of suspense.
