This concept is incredible. It frames the backrooms as a sort of dangerous arena, but with rules that (if followed) can get you in and out. It's akin to participating in a super dangerous sport; given preparation, you can mitigate (but never remove) risk. Backrooms solo exploration is probably like climbing K2 alone with no oxygen. It is *INSANELY* dangerous. Not because every level is dangerous, but because if you are even a fraction careless, the rooms will take you places you CAN become fodder. Not to mention, clipping doesn't always guarantee you'd land in the same base level. The randomness of the backrooms is something you can't plan for, and that's what can get you killed if you don't have an exit strategy the instant you suspect something is paying attention to you. Exploration can be done, but you need to be incredibly experienced, and adequately crazy. and even with all that prep, you accept a certain level of risk you can't control. You know going in, you may never come out. I think that adrenaline factor is a part of why people want to make expeditions. My guess is, people who do solo explorations are misfits, people who find some kind of purpose and fascination in those enigmatic halls because it's those exact places which make them feel at peace despite the danger. They don't have a place in the real world, so perhaps they feel more connected to the strangeness of it all.
The area at 2:00 min was very cool. Hope it is revisited! Awesome video. It's really cool to see a mechanic to no clip back out. I'm really liking your take on the Backrooms.
@@Kaiser897 true. Although no one is focusing on the strangely familiar other leminal spaces and what they imply. I plan to try my hand at those with zero entities to theory craft something I've noticed about this trend no one's pointing out.
This is pretty cool, but some of the areas would be better with fewer columns, and wider connecting corridors. As someone who has spent years working convention centers and hotel ballroom/meeting room venues, the potential horror (for me) lies in the enormous open spaces, where there is nowhere to hide.
Yeah this video here Is the best one I've seen so far. Kane's work has a lot more vision behind it but here Frag is definitely stepping away from that without falling back on the mess of a canon the wikis have. The Backrooms for me have always been about just the sheer, nonsensical scale of the concept where it's just level after level after level of liminal spaces with no rhyme or reason and this video perfectly captures that idea, that there's no entity or habitability classifications or anything its just an infinite labyrinth of unending dead grey skies and worn-down hallways and pathways, all built by some gargantuan civilization that in reality could never have existed.
The film is really immersive, it makes people feel like they are taking an adventure in it, it makes people nervous especially 2:26 is very oppressive looking forward to the new video.👍
Excellent job creating environments other than the usual yellow rooms! I love that you did just a bit of world-building, and the creature was extremely creepy without being the usual "black monster what eats you". Kane Pixels has set the standard, but you are taking it in a different direction, which is equally fascinating.
Yeah I loved it because it perfectly captured the idea of "abomination from a dead universe that should not exist and could not have ever existed and only persists in a hateful agony due to just how distorted the laws of physics are in the Backrooms"
There's something so sinister yet so fascinating about places that are built out of necessity, not for looks. Think of industrial plants, road tunnels, warehouses, the hallways of big offices or hotels. These are extensively large structures with immense surfaces, and they aren't meant to be pretty, but functional. Still, they have to look somehow, so to make things easier they are often decorated in this very repetitive, pattern-like, basic fashion, which makes them eerily familiar in a way that confuses the mind. Yet we cannot help being drawn by such places, think of how many music videos and photoshoots are made in places like these, or how awesome it feels to drive through a tunnel with your favorite music on.
1:53 I just realized why Half Life 1 scared me as a kid, the whole Black Mesa facility feels endless and definitely liminal. The scene right before this was killer too
Love your detail. Great ‘corporate carpet’ patterns and colours, woodwork, and lighting. It really does feel like we’re exploring a variety of industry offices - like the much wealthier ‘corporate law’ feel of the place with the burgundy walls and dark woodwork contrasting with the more typical office setting with the awesome blue carpet. Love the glimpses we get of entities - not really long enough to get a real fix on what they look like before we’re away - really makes me curious about them.
It's nice to see a backrooms footage video where the intrepid explorer is experienced, prepared, cautious, and makes it back alive. Rather than cliché found footage where they unalive or dissapear.
1:50 That's disturbing aff... The tension bruh. Imagine being stuck and not being able to stand up in a small corridor like that(from creature's perspective) Frag you are the best backroom content creator I've seen so far.
Poor damn thing, it might just be wounded. Look at how it cant hold its neck up, and its jaw is draped open. Whatever might have wounded it must be truly terrifying.
The second part of the video (the pit and the catwalk) were the first VFX in the series that didn't quite look right to me. I don't know if this person is working alone or what but what a talented artist(s). Hats off.
Do you wonder if the Entities in the Backrooms ever come across each other? I can imagine something like “so is this the guy I’m meant to scare orrr….” That’s actually so funny to think about
Genuinely genuinely, after Kane Pixels released his Backrooms found footage it of course was very high quality, and the videos after his(I’m talking about other people’s fantastic work) became of same or higher caliber of quality, this is something unlike seen before(to my knowledge)where someone posts something high quality and people also post things of the same thing but also in high quality and I really really like this chain and domino effect.
Very cool work! I love the big monster, how it moved, and how its "area" is built for it. Very strong realism - if I could offer one point of feedback, it would be trying to match the camera movements with the footstep sounds better, that was the only thing that really stood out to me
A GREAT GREAT GREAT example of the Backrooms environments is the game Naissance on PC. From the most tiny claustrophobic spots to the most infinite voided rooms
@@rogerwilson53 no way, i checked the trees and they seem to be older than that. there is no indication that there was a shed there at any time. maybe loppicat is right and the tree itself is glitched. if there would be an entrance, it must be a tree or a similar glitched nature object.
theory for why the door trick works: some context first i was reading the backrooms wiki once and apparently a way to clip into the backrooms was by moving towards a wall or corner of a wall before it "rendered" and became solid. so maybe the reason this door trick works, is that your foot being in the door makes the backrooms think you're in that room, and not the room you're actually in. So when you close the door and it hits your foot, the backrooms thinks it hit the doorjamb and was closed, so it unrenders the room you're actually in. from there, it might rerender, realizing that youre still in the room, and detecting you in the floor, brings you somewhere else, or maybe touching unrendered objects already does that without needing to have them render on you.
i was thinking of it a a collisions conflict, where maybe it would want to nudge your foot back into the room you're in, but it can't decide which room that is.
this dude looks like he really knows what he's doing, i like to think of it as a small roguelike, you die, you return, you know how to deal with death, you evade, and this dude really looks like he had been killed a couple times to know how to act, he just casually hid from the giant without making a sound or any sign of fear, and he just casually wandered around a place he probably didn't know (the one place he kicks the cone down to god knows where) he's pretty good and gathered lots of knowledge on his time
bro i love the way this looks. you made the backrooms seem more of a world with different biomes and areas instead of just 1 single yellow room i love it so much. this vid made me feel like im actually there sometimes
Yeah weapons would be cool to see, even simple small arms,to see maybe a bow, machete,BFG,rpg,Krak grenades or even a k bar used against these denizens would be cool asf
Coordinates 51°26'52.0"N, 117°28'54.3"W leads to a road that splits off from a the Trans-Canadian highway. In case any of you wanted to search it up, its just a random road in British Colombia.
I looked at it as well I think that road that splits off goes to a bridge over the river right there. in the video when he is sticking his foot in the wall. that might be under the bridge there. but of course its all made up but i think its a connection in the video.
A lot of people make the back rooms yellow and colourful signifying safety but frag makes walking around a lot more eerie like an entity is about to come out
I think it would be a cool idea to return to that huge are with the huge pit and make a video where a team of explorers go down it by either parachute or rappelling and exploring another low level of the Backrooms.
The backgrounds feel so surreal. Walking around exploring my dads office building on weekends as a kid felt so similar. The quietness the smell of coffee stains and dim lighting with no one there. My childhood experienced by others
I like how the back room started out as a horror concept And still Is but is slowly turning into something that’s truly fascinating yet creepy and uncanny.
the coordinates that were shown at 0:07 leads to Columbia-Shuswap 51.264505, -117.286236 idk if this is the right spot but I did notice the guy falling through a cliff or mountain so this is a pretty good guess that it was here. (Edit) There is another location at 51.241548, 117.029988 and it's in Russia. The location is on a hill as well called Zabaykalsky Krai.
If seems to be a trail leading to some place in the middle of the woods. Google Street View dosent go down there so until someone goes to that location and actually reports on it, I don’t think we’ll ever know
I have a theory that this explorer is *not alone* at 1:23 and 1:30 you can clearly see that the angle of the footage is different from the angle of the light source used to illuminate the living thing on the wall. would it be a human companion or a drone that would be together with this last explorer?
A camera that's equipped with a flashlight, that would be nice. However, he could just be holding a flashlight in his hand, that would explain the difference in angle
I like the concept of being able to leave the backrooms if you know what you're doing. This implies that there are professional backrooms explorers, who know how to get in and out just for fun.
Those long extended carpeted winged corridor tunnels (without the entity component alone) are the most creepy and off putting backrooms for me, I swore Ive dreamed about those before, what's at 1:11
I might be the only person but I think the backrooms are way more interesting when there isn't always these fantastical abstract monsters in them but rather your own mind psyching you out making you think something is there that isn't
I went in a Disney convention center to use the bathroom. It was the middle of the day and bustling outside. Decent amount of people near the bathroom and after i was done, decided to walk around. Massive hallways, huge conference rooms, labyrinth of hallways, escalators, soft music, not a soul in sight. I got mildly lost and felt like I was in an unsettling dream.
Thought Experiment: What if you managed to noclip out of the backrooms via the door, but the spot you landed on back in reality was janky enough to make you noclip back into the backrooms?
I love the backrooms too, i just wish that there weren't so much crappy backrooms videos on RUclips, It is hard to find good stuff that people actually put effort into
As other said, the creature is insanely big and raises the question from what oversized dimension it comes from. Imagining it reminds me of Piranesi by S. Clarke: a world of ocean-sized living rooms and mountain-sized stairwells.
Sorry for my ignorance on the production style, I have recently fallen in love with the backrooms concept and want to learn more about how you're making these. Is the entire thing computer animated or is there any real filming? Thanks
Would be cool if you could show more of the monster at 1:50. To me, it feels way more unique and scarier than the tripod monster that Kane Pixel made. Also, speaking about the monster, maybe try making a video of it chasing the man. But aside from that, it’s a very nice video. Everything feels realistic.

Hi
Hi
These videos are my favorite ones, because there’s new levels and other stuff not like others that has the original level. Good job.
The area at 2:00 min was very cool. Hope it is revisited! Awesome video. It's really cool to see a mechanic to no clip back out. I'm really liking your take on the Backrooms.
It looks like a Military facility.
1:41 amazing part, really love the giant design of the monster
Frag 2's content is starting to feel like a mini cinema experience each upload now. They are equal to Kane at this point.
Yeah that's true but, Every upload it gets worse....
@@itz_metin6720 how though? every video expands upon the universe, the quality is also improving after each video
True, the only difference is that Kane focuses more on the environment and Frag creates more entities
@@Kaiser897 true. Although no one is focusing on the strangely familiar other leminal spaces and what they imply. I plan to try my hand at those with zero entities to theory craft something I've noticed about this trend no one's pointing out.
Yes no hohoho
1:47 Guys, why are you hiding from that thing? He is my dog he won’t bite he’s friendly
This is pretty cool, but some of the areas would be better with fewer columns, and wider connecting corridors. As someone who has spent years working convention centers and hotel ballroom/meeting room venues, the potential horror (for me) lies in the enormous open spaces, where there is nowhere to hide.
But then, you could get a better view of what is around you.
You're probably my favorite backrooms maker, the way you make your backrooms videos are just amazing, it impresses me everytime i watch them.

His are more aesthetically pleasing to me as well
Yeah this video here Is the best one I've seen so far.
Have you heard of Kane Pixels?
The film is really immersive, it makes people feel like they are taking an adventure in it, it makes people nervous especially 2:26 is very oppressive looking forward to the new video.👍
I love this video, dude!!!!
The part beginning at 1:40 was really cool. Great work!
The scene right before this was killer too
This is the exact reason why I like Black Mesa so much (the Half-Life remake) I highly recommend playing it.
The mesa probably did intebtionnaly designed it to be limminal
So that untrudwrs will fewl panicked alnd losy int eh facility
@@oneosix106decena are you having a stroke?
@@theRPGmaster I plan to! With the Steam Deck if I can haha
Grats to the SFX artist macking down on the barrel of Pringles with every step, yo! 👍
It's nice to see a backrooms footage video where the intrepid explorer is experienced, prepared, cautious, and makes it back alive.
Rather than cliché found footage where they unalive or dissapear.
1:29 pls spare me i have trypophobia but it actually looks so sick, great video!
1:50 Bruh that thing seems to be Rod Reiss
Lmao
1:50 That's disturbing aff... The tension bruh. Imagine being stuck and not being able to stand up in a small corridor like that(from creature's perspective)
Frag you are the best backroom content creator I've seen so far.
Poor damn thing, it might just be wounded. Look at how it cant hold its neck up, and its jaw is draped open. Whatever might have wounded it must be truly terrifying.
@@rogerwilson53 it might also have severe friction burns from dragging itself...
@@rancidworkplace if it really is wounded then thats probably the least of its worries
The second part of the video (the pit and the catwalk) were the first VFX in the series that didn't quite look right to me. I don't know if this person is working alone or what but what a talented artist(s). Hats off.
Do you wonder if the Entities in the Backrooms ever come across each other? I can imagine something like “so is this the guy I’m meant to scare orrr….” That’s actually so funny to think about
Genuinely genuinely, after Kane Pixels released his Backrooms found footage it of course was very high quality, and the videos after his(I’m talking about other people’s fantastic work) became of same or higher caliber of quality, this is something unlike seen before(to my knowledge)where someone posts something high quality and people also post things of the same thing but also in high quality and I really really like this chain and domino effect.
last two videos have been SO impressive, creative, and amazing atmosphere!!! love to see your work improve!!!!
Glad you like them!
@@frag2I need backrooms solo exploration 3!
Very cool work! I love the big monster, how it moved, and how its "area" is built for it.
Very strong realism - if I could offer one point of feedback, it would be trying to match the camera movements with the footstep sounds better, that was the only thing that really stood out to me
I love it when people make their own spin on the backrooms, if this is supposed to be a custom version of level 0 - that’s so cool.
A GREAT GREAT GREAT example of the Backrooms environments is the game Naissance on PC. From the most tiny claustrophobic spots to the most infinite voided rooms
Are we not gonna talk about how this dude literally made a tutorial on how to enter and exit the backrooms?

yeah but the coordinates lead you to a forest region in Alberta, Kanada. there is nothing besides a trees
@@bxe_prototyp0118 but maybe that's a glitched tree that can clip you to the backrooms
@@bxe_prototyp0118 this series takes place in the 90s im pretty sure, maybe there was a shed there or something else but now its delapitated
@@rogerwilson53 no way, i checked the trees and they seem to be older than that. there is no indication that there was a shed there at any time. maybe loppicat is right and the tree itself is glitched. if there would be an entrance, it must be a tree or a similar glitched nature object.
Wow, awesome work. I hope there will be more of this. I love the Backrooms and the creepy vibe of it.

theory for why the door trick works:
some context first
i was reading the backrooms wiki once and apparently a way to clip into the backrooms was by moving towards a wall or corner of a wall before it "rendered" and became solid.
so maybe the reason this door trick works, is that your foot being in the door makes the backrooms think you're in that room, and not the room you're actually in.
I went to try it and I fell on floor but didn't fall through.
Interesting. I love how much this is based off of the failures of computer graphics rather than elementary particles or real-life paradoxes lol
A Giant half a torso dragging it’s way towards you is a nightmare! They need to make a back rooms movie.. I’d go see it in theaters!
this dude looks like he really knows what he's doing, i like to think of it as a small roguelike, you die, you return, you know how to deal with death, you evade, and this dude really looks like he had been killed a couple times to know how to act, he just casually hid from the giant without making a sound or any sign of fear, and he just casually wandered around a place he probably didn't know (the one place he kicks the cone down to god knows where)
he's pretty good and gathered lots of knowledge on his time
Showing the no clip at the beginning was absolutely brilliant and well done. I always enjoy your work.
0:14 we can see how The wanderer no-clipea a wall for quicker access to another Level of the backroom
bro i love the way this looks.
you made the backrooms seem more of a world with different biomes and areas instead of just 1 single yellow room i love it so much. this vid made me feel like im actually there sometimes
this guy needs more popularity, his videos are always bangers!
It would be amazing if all the studio who is creating backroom video meet in a ultimate showdown linking with there own stories .
"their own stories".
Yes, it could be a "BackConn" ☺️
imo you and Kane Pixels have solidified yourself’s as the best backrooms content creators. keep up the great work
I'd love to see one where this same guy brings some weapons like guns and shit, and fights off an entity. That'd be sick as fuck
He probably knows an invincibility hack from holding a chair and spinning three times before long-jumping on top
the noise would probably invite more entities, them being overwhelmed afterwards would be interesting

so like doom guy
Yeah weapons would be cool to see, even simple small arms,to see maybe a bow, machete,BFG,rpg,Krak grenades or even a k bar used against these denizens would be cool asf
Coordinates 51°26'52.0"N, 117°28'54.3"W leads to a road that splits off from a the Trans-Canadian highway. In case any of you wanted to search it up, its just a random road in British Colombia.
Yeah, I looked it up too... looks like it's for a park or something.
1:23 ok i like it, Picasso
1:55 nice BLAME reference.

When Rod Reiss somehow gets in the backrooms:
Nah, Rod Reiss is too big for this crap… probably just a abnormal titan only
The backgrounds feel so surreal. Walking around exploring my dads office building on weekends as a kid felt so similar. The quietness the smell of coffee stains and dim lighting with no one there. My childhood experienced by others
The fact that the guy actually escaped the backrooms is an insanely cool concept

The Zabaykalsky Krai location is inaccurate because it's 117 degrees east whereas the coordinates indicate west
If seems to be a trail leading to some place in the middle of the woods. Google Street View dosent go down there so until someone goes to that location and actually reports on it, I don’t think we’ll ever know
I just like the idea of backrooms explorers looking for noclips around the world to set record survival time
lowkey feel bad for that massive creature tho cause that would be claustrophobic af

I have a theory that this explorer is *not alone*
at 1:23 and 1:30 you can clearly see that the angle of the footage is different from the angle of the light source used to illuminate the living thing on the wall. would it be a human companion or a drone that would be together with this last explorer?
A camera that's equipped with a flashlight, that would be nice. However, he could just be holding a flashlight in his hand, that would explain the difference in angle
Lmao imagine having this much knowledge about backrooms and you start to go there just to study in silence and comeback.
Absolutely incredible scenery and that entity was TERRIFYING! Hope we have a part 2 of him soon! The atmosphere and everything was spot on!
1:53 this is giving me major “BLAME!” Vibes
I like the concept of being able to leave the backrooms if you know what you're doing. This implies that there are professional backrooms explorers, who know how to get in and out just for fun.
Those long extended carpeted winged corridor tunnels (without the entity component alone) are the most creepy and off putting backrooms for me, I swore Ive dreamed about those before, what's at 1:11
What is this one called?
I might be the only person but I think the backrooms are way more interesting when there isn't always these fantastical abstract monsters in them but rather your own mind psyching you out making you think something is there that isn't
I went in a Disney convention center to use the bathroom. It was the middle of the day and bustling outside. Decent amount of people near the bathroom and after i was done, decided to walk around. Massive hallways, huge conference rooms, labyrinth of hallways, escalators, soft music, not a soul in sight. I got mildly lost and felt like I was in an unsettling dream.
1:39 I like how the camera man is calm as always.

✔ Atmospheric ✔ Calming
✔ Inspiring ✔ Other
Yes very calming seeing backrooms creatures trying to kill you

Thought Experiment: What if you managed to noclip out of the backrooms via the door, but the spot you landed on back in reality was janky enough to make you noclip back into the backrooms?
Do it again, duh
Softlock lol
I love the backrooms too, i just wish that there weren't so much crappy backrooms videos on RUclips, It is hard to find good stuff that people actually put effort into
This new group has peaked my interest. Having the capability of no clipping outside of the backrooms at will and performing their own expeditions.
Man, I'd love to see more of aranea membris (spider-looking entities) in your backrooms footages
I thought they were cool tbh
I love how you show the noclip and particle effects of falling in a void. It's how I imagined you would clip out of reality.
This going to be interesting
Yes!
Indeed!!
The idea of a really big creature stuck in a small place is somehow terrifying to me.
This playlist is genuinely scaring me. Good shit
As other said, the creature is insanely big and raises the question from what oversized dimension it comes from. Imagining it reminds me of Piranesi by S. Clarke: a world of ocean-sized living rooms and mountain-sized stairwells.
0:10 "reccomended"
Sorry for my ignorance on the production style, I have recently fallen in love with the backrooms concept and want to learn more about how you're making these. Is the entire thing computer animated or is there any real filming? Thanks
Thanks for responding, that is cool af
1:39 is where you can notice it being computer animation
Mysteries like these that are so realistic but weird at the same time are amazing
They face growing out of the wall gives off serious Silent Hill 4 vibes! Great video, man.
I wish we could see the monster, too. Would love to see their size
