Having a moment in the new Renault Captur

- If you're not into French cars, maybe the new Renault Captur will change your mind? I was having quite the day recently, my GoPro had died, I dropped and smashed my phone...the list goes on, but the Captur was thankfully a lovely drive and so didn't send me over the edge like some cars can. I think this is a great alternative to some of the more safe and predictable choices. But take one for a spin, make up your own mind.

Good review . And that engine is used in the Merc A Class so it’s probably worth more from a value standpoint
Go and test drive this vehicle...This is an amazing engine produced in collaboration with Daimler for some Merc, mitsubishi and Nissan cars just tuned differently. I bought a demo and none of its so called competitors come close from a value proposition. Lastly the fuel consumption is not as ridiculous as some of its larger sized competitors. I currently get 7l /100 in town and 6l/100 on the road.
That awkward moment where the new Captur is launched in SA just in time for us in Europe to get the mid-term facelift. 😂. On a serious note, I think it is a very good value for money package compared to its rivals.
This is the facelift as well, isn’t it?
@@MrWhatauchever not quite. The version that is being launched in SA was already launched in Europe about 3 years ago. It is the initial version of the second gen. There are already photos of the newer one circulating in our media.
Juliet drives capture 😍
Ahhhh, the Diamond of Doom...
For 500 000 it's to much
A VW Taigo is 500k with a 1 litre 3 cylinder engine. 🤣
@@lesediseemela9856 with 500k get a haval or chery tiggo or even the Beijing x55
Renaults generally age really well. Koleos is a perfect example of it.
The kwid is great good build quality
Renault has always had a 2 year delay with most of their new models in SA for reasons that makes no sense. I was interested in the Captur when it launched in Europe and after inquiring with Renault SA they indicated we would only get it after 2 years. WTF?
At that price I think there are far better options down the line .
That "don't buy French cars" nonsense goes back to the sixties and seventies. I don't think there's anything wrong with French cars these days. There's an article in The Mirror about a Citroën Xsara Picasso with a million miles ( 1,609,344 km) on the clock and still going strong. My experience is that they are no less reliable than other brands.
Ok I'll google Millon-mile Citroen if I'm unsure thnx
For years, Peugeot made great bakkies in South Africa and they lost it somewhere.
You are better off buying a Haval Jolion for the price and features…
French cars are awesome, had a vehicle from each. Its just their resale values ain't so lekker.
Hey Juli❤❤
As an American I often wonder-what is the reliability of French cars such as Renault and Peugeot?
Just like almost HALF of the fuel price is tax almost half of new car price is tax - so in real terms new cars are actually worth about half of the asking price. But lets focus on boot space.
It look like. Renault reuse previous captur difference is dash ODO meter and exterior
big loud mouth shouting out of her again !
