I love the true passion for watches that you have! Another side of watch collecting we all go through which you highlight on your channel is the utter frustration about not being able to just go out and buy watches we desire. I am saving up for a grail watch at the moment that I may get in a couple of years or I may settle for a less expensive watch which I will also covet and enjoy. The frustration of unreachable desire is, I am sure part of what makes a watch collector. If 10 million fell into my lap tomorrow I could rime off the top 20 watches I would go out and buy immediately and my contentment would be complete, but in a year or two I am sure that there would be at least one new watch I had my eye on. 99.9% of watch collectors have the same issue but without that frustration, sacrifice and desire would we respect and love our watches as much? Your Passion is our passion your frustration is our frustration. FOR THE BEECH!!! FOR THE BEECH!!! @@gethinchristian
Great taste my friend..Got these exact wrist mongs- doxa a great throwback looking summer wrist ticker. The sla023 wears sooo much smaller but a looker for sure-Enjoy ..for the beeaaacchhhh
Two magnificent twerps, M.Gethin. On balance, the Searambler is the greater zver, lume notwithstanding. If there was a perfect watch out there, we'd only buy one pajac - or perhaps not because we're all perverts. Cheers 🍻!
Fun review of a couple of freaks! Thanks. Dont have a doxa yet. Thinking a 200, or 300 in orange. My daily is a sla059. Chunky boy, but feels great on the bracelet. I have had it for a week, and it has gained 5 seconds in 7 days. My other sla s are around plus or minus 3-5 sec a day. Sent back under warranty my sla039 because it was running plus 13-14 sec a day. Why doesn't seiko regulate an expensive high beat? Cheap bastards! All said, the mm300 are really special to me. Chunky, but actually smaller foot print than a turtle, sumo, or samurai. Just thicker.
Thanks Douglas. I have handled 4 SLA Seikos on the channel 023, 047, 051 and 065 all of them ran under +5 so they are pretty good even if not regulated. My 2 doxas also run very accurately. The 300t with its 2824 and the 1500t with the 2892. Glad you enjoyed the video!
@gethinChristian I need your help I have the spb143 and thinking of getting the spb317 and maybe getting rid of the spb143 what is your professional opinion owning both....
Actually I don't own them Dave. Both were lent in for review. I can say that they are both awesome and very different. 143 is better finished and the 317 definitely more toolish. You can't go wrong with either!
Have had both, the Doxa 1500t is much more special imo. mm300 is too top heavy. Doxa may have less potent lume, but let’s face it, the 1500t is a watch actually worn by saturation divers and underwater welders.
The Marinemaster SBDX001 is the handsome bastard that can look after himself. Mines been a daily since 2013. I also have a GShock Square (metal) which also don’t take any shit either. Shame about the piss poor lume on Doxa so it’s a no.
Love the precise setting of time on both watches, a sign of a true watch connoisseur and very rarely seen on all other watch channels. You're the man!
No one has ever mentioned that before. I always like to have time set on all watches if I am doing any comparison videos. Thanks man!

The rambler is a musclebound Goliath. Marine idiot is a shiny wrist ornament.
Great video as always! Hard to pick a winner in this showdown! I think the Doxa seems a bit larger but they are both full figured!
Thanks man! They're both fantastic.

I love both of your bastards. I actually bought the MM300 on the back of selling my Doxa 300T. Didn't have her long.
Both beautiful twerps!
Absolutely propah!
this is the best watch channel
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Feed them both to the Orient Saturation Behemoth and buy muscle tearing pump products with the savings For The Biceps and Beach!
I need a good pump Twerp to engorge my spaghetti twigs with feathers.
Hey dude when did you get back on your channel? I've missed you and those freaking twerps 😅
I still make the occasional video. No watches to review anymore.
I'll mod you one
Has to be a seiko movement though.

They're both great but lately I've been wearing the rambler a lot more.
I'll always choose the MM300!!! In this life or the next...
