Cape cod is good, but those scratches are deep. You have to sand it, 600 grit and the all the way up, passing by 1000, 2000, and so on til 8000, and THEN Cape Cod

You know what was cool about this watch? It introduced me to the Helm Vanuatu. This erebus origin is really a Vanuatu homage that you can buy right away. I picked up a Helm Vanuatu on Ebay for $330 and I bloody love it. It's a Proper watch. I prefer Jodys fume dial watches. And have 2 on order. So lets see how those look in the metal. 3 months ago I bought my first 6309 ad I poisoned my mind , now I have all original 3 pieces of 6309 and two pristine 6306 and Im hunting for 6306-7000 and one day also for my new grail watch 6306 scuba pro 450. Im stunned how well those almost 50 years old watches looks and works, and I think now this are best watches from Seiko I ever have, I like them more than my mm300 or mm200. Even those with patina looks great, because this model I turned my collection in vintage direction kurwa.

Had my windows rattled from an explosion caused by a nearby drone attack early on Sunday morning - so a more positive start to the day today (Monday) to see your new watch - love it! Like the design, dial legibility and symmetry, small seconds, brushed finish, and general nod to the better field watches of old.. You can't really see the Draken branding on the case side - it's not like they've done a Blancpain 50 Fathoms (where the branding is polished and in your face - the only blemish on an otherwise amazing watch). A great choice!

Weed smoking American twerp here. I have a 017 and I prefer both the oem bracelet and oem rubber strap like the one you have here. Dude you definitely have to do the coffee cup trick it makes the strap insanely curved and so easy to wear I love it
