    Its nice to see a reviewer who actually knows that the bezel measures no decompression time and what a helium escape valve is for. The amount of reviews that think a bezel indicates air level in your tank and escape valves that let you dive deeper is unreal.

      What a dumb comment..

      Funny thing is nobody else cares. 99% of people with five watches don’t even go in the pool with them and watchmakers compete for watches that can survive far far below the depth an actual human can survive … it’s all just fun so chill 😎
      Oh yeah and bezels are just to time things and play with

      @@marcdaniels9079 funny thing is, you've missed the point of my comment. I was praising his integrity of the reviewer. If someone is going to review a product, then they need to be able to tell you all about it and not just make it all up. 99% of people understand this...

    Thanks for the video, very clear commentary (and your filming is top-notch)

    Thanks for the review. In the last comment about the COSC certified watch, you mention the 300 twice... At 4.47

      Apologies for this error, I meant to say SUB 300 is COSC Certified whilst the 300T is not.

      Can you explain how it is possible for the same movement to be COSC certified in one watch and not the other? COSC certification is done for the naked movement so case shouldn’t matter so if they are truly the same movement, how is this possible?

    • @julianastrada
      @julianastrada 5 месяцев назад +6

      @@Orthodoc007 the movements have different qualities. While the movement is the same it may have better visuals, better anto-shocking system and a better regulation. SW200 has 4 levels, them being Basic, Elabore, Top and COSC. Last 2 for example have a better shocking system than the former, but only the latest is COSC certified.

    300T is objectively the better tool watch for $600 less.

      It definitely is - but for me, and I think most, there is no point getting a Doxa if it is not the 300 - the 300 has that domed sapphire, the vintage look that basically pulls you in, and is visually such an interesting piece. The 300T just doesn’t have the same pull or ‘je ne sais quoi’ as they say.

    • @whereRbearsTeeth
      @whereRbearsTeeth 3 месяца назад +1

      Most?? The 300T is definitely more popular than the 300 among watch enthusiasts. Not only is it the objectively better watch, it’s the most iconic model from the brand. Jacques Cousteau and Clive Cussler both wore a 300T, not a 300.

    • @jeffreyfearon5015
      @jeffreyfearon5015 2 месяца назад +1

      Every article I've seen online mentions Cousteau as having worn the Sub 300, not the 300T.

    • @whereRbearsTeeth
      @whereRbearsTeeth Месяц назад +1

      @@jeffreyfearon5015He wore a lot of different watches, not just Doxa. The Doxa 300T conquistador came out the year after the 300. Once it did, that is THE Doxa that he and his crew wore. I’m not sure what articles you are reading, but that is a fact.
