I just found your channel. My first cruise was on Freedom of the Seas this past November. I wish I had seen this before the cruise. The shows were wonderful. I loved them!
Dang, this reminds me so much of when I worked on cruise ships about 20 years ago. The technology was way different (only had email, no You Tube at the time), but the friendship and love between the cast and crew was still there. I was an entertainment tech (mostly did sound on my contracts) for Carnival. I had always wanted to try working for RCCL or Disney, but I got married instead. :) To this day, some of my best friends are still the ones I made from my cruise ship days. The family level bounding you create when you work and live together for 9 months straight (16 months for one of my contracts!) is hard to break. Thank you so much for sharing your life in this public forum and letting me live vicariously through you to experience ship life again.
Thanks for sharing your show day with us. You have so many Aussies in the cast too. Can you encourage a Aussies to do vlogs in the future. I know you could teach them so much with your great experience and knowledge. Seems only USA dancer's and singers vlog. I love your channel though and never miss a vlog.
Interesting that you mentioned the understudy in the tech run, as things happen- on our last two cruises, *something* happened in the first show that required a reblock and understudy move in between shows. You are all such professionals to do that on such short notice and one walk through.
