Tips from PP:
- Luminary does not require a primer but you can use it if you like a little insurance
- Always use a primer that matches the system you are working
- You only need the primer on the regrowth
- You can apply Luminary right out of the bottle or you can use a 30 ml refill bottle and pour it into a pot to spread it faster
- Create a wet layer or slip layer
- Luminary is viscous and will move very quickly - don’t plan with it too much because it will make it even more
- If the circle stays still in your line of light - you should be good to go but if your circle moves with the light, add a little extra product to fix it
- There is a heat spike with Luminary so you will want to warn your client to put their hand in and out of the lamp
- Run the light over the whole nail and you can also flip your nail and manipulate so that it will make a smooth line of light and won’t need to finish file
- Always look at all of the angles of the nails to make sure the apex is correct
- Pay attention to each nail because some of them may look different than others so really consider each nail needs to be customized Хобби
So this is for natural nails... .. meaning there s no way to length the nail lk acrylic
I noticed you said in the video that you are allergic to HEMA. Are you able to use Luminary with no reaction?
Thank you for your comment! I can use Luminary when wearing gloves and I don’t wear Luminary on myself due to my allergy.
What light do you use?
We use the Magpie USA lamp to cure Luminary products in our salon.
