I image their daughter leading a corporate takeover one day and a guy leans across the table… “How did you get so good at this?” She just looks him dead in the eyes, “I could negotiate up to a half a pickle from nothing since 3 yrs old bucko.”
😂😂😂
It all started from a half pickle all those years ago.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Really when he said your negotiation skills are horrible I just thought, "Are they really? Cause I see a kid getting what she wants. With little effort" lol
😂❤
Bill Paxton was so great. Sure do miss him. He always brought an amazing energy to his roles. RIP.
Agreed. He made some great movies even better cuz he was in them. ❤
Agreed, I sooo miss him.
I met him in the late 90s.
Yeah, this is what, the third movie that Bill Paxton was in that was done by James Cameron. First was The Terminator (1984), where he played one of the street thugs ("Laundry Day. Nothing clean to wear!"). Lasted about 30 seconds until Ahnold ripped out his heart. LOL. Then, there was Aliens (1986) ("Aw man. Game Over, man. Game Over!"). This is the third. I believe he was also in Titanic (1997) after this one. I don't think he was in either of the Avatar movies.
@@floppyblanket2587 I had to re-watch "Weird Science" to realize he was the annoying older brother, Chet. LOL. He was so young in that movie. Also, yes, he was awesome in Twister (1996).
I hated Tom Arnold until I saw this movie theatrically, he is absolutely hilarious in every scene he’s in. I love this movie! R.I.P. Bill Paxton
ruclips.net/video/aXxGDj8Jd38/видео.html
I think he's a pretty good character in Rosanne.
Apparently the studio didn't want him for this role but Cameron pushed for him.
He had a sitcom after "Roseanne" for a while, "The Jackie Thomas Show," and I remember liking it but don't remember anything about it.
I was about to post literally the same thing. He is unbelievably good in this role !
When Jamie Lee fell at the end, it was real. Her legs were dead from so many takes and the dance that they just gave out.
"Yeah, but they were all bad" .. I love that line
Tom Arnold's character rant about the ice cube trays was something that happened to him irl when he was married to Roseanne. This is a top 3 James Cameron directed movie and a top 3 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie imo. Great mix of action and comedy. Tom Arnold's best movie role by a country mile.
lol wow what a headcase!
Bet he is thankful every day to get away from her.
@23:47 Tom and Arnie actually missed their marks and Arnie ended up punching the wrong window. The front window was made of special easy-to-break glass, unlike the rear window, which was made of good old regular window glass. The reaction from Tom was real, and since both of them stayed in character and continued on, James Cameron decided to use this take in the final cut.
And Arnie was incredibly lucky not to have massively injured his hand.
@@RustyDust101 Arnold also punched through a real window in Terminator when he steals the car, though that time it was on purpose. He later remarked words to the effect of "I can't believe I did that...that was a real window! I could have been hurt!"
That’s awesome
@@Corn_Pone_Flicks So there is a behind the scenes of that scene, and they use a special rig for that scene. it was actually very tense because they were pretty low budget and if anything went wrong it would have been a real issue.
36:48 since way back when I watched this movie for the first time on VHS in the 90s, any time a battery runs out I think about/say this exact line.
This was an amazing film, and while I had zero expectations for Tom Arnold before seeing it, he was the highlight of the movie for me. He for sure gained some much needed respect from staring in this movie, and it was well deserved.
Love it when the kiddos make an appearance. So adorable. 🧸🤗❤
Jamie Lee Curtis really did the helicopter stunt, but james cameron said he had to do it first himself to convince her it was safe.
Admit it you two script those "snack requests" for the cuteness likes 😅🤣
Bill Paxton really was a talented actor. He commits so completely ti this role that it's very difficult to imagine anyone else pull it off. lol.
Dropping the casual 'Dollhouse' comment. My eyes started to tear up. Firefly and Dollhouse. Two shows that had so much potential, but got prematurely axed.
Only Arnold Schwarzenegger can make a corny line like, You're fired sound so badass. Plus you can't deny how good Jamie Lee Curtis looks in this movie. I mean woof!
Woof! Like Madeline Kahn in Young Frankenstein! Well, she is the one saying it there. But still, woof!
The helicopter pilot you hear mentioning Helen having her head in the guy's lap is James Cameron.
I liked the "Adorable Break" when your daughter comes out. She's a cutie!
"Your negotiation skills are terrible." had me.
One of the funniest and craziest action comedy movies ever made!
There were talks of a Sequel, but it was cancelled due to the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.
A TV series based on the movie is on CBS, and it took 17 years to make the show happen.
This film is called *True Lies*
It's sequel could have been called *False Truth*
And the show was just canceled by CBS after 1 season
James Cameron should have gotten on it next instead of doing Titanic. It probably would have been another worthy sequel but aged poorly in the years since 9/11 like this one seems to have became dated in the last 30 years. I still love this movie ever since seeing it in the theater as a 12 year old. This really was the last great film Arnold did.
terrorist attack planning by insiders
@@Renegade2786 Or..Two Lies lol? This is a remake of the French film La Totale so....Total Lies? Naw I think I'd have just gone with True Lies 2. As long as it wasn't T2ue Lies..
I love this movie and after many years of seeing it repeatedly, I had never noticed the the easter egg in the movie. Harry works for an organization called “Omega Sector” Their motto is The Last Line of Defense. Charleston Heston is the Boss (cool looking guy with eyepatch) for Omega Sector. In 1971, Heston, starred in a movie called The Omega Man. The Omega Man movie was remade and renamed in 2007 as I Am Legend starring Will Smith.
We desperately need a sequel to this. Eliza Dushku could be the lead spy while Arnold and JLC are in command of the agency.
good idea :D
I would love that, But Eliza has left the business.
that's basically the premise of the upcoming FUBAR on Netflix, minus JLC.
@@Logan_Baron Yeah, unfortunately, she was sort of Weinstein-ed. It wasn't Harvey himself, but several other men. Some other well-known actresses left the biz after being treated like that.
What would the plot be?🤔
Soon you will be setting a pickle, cheese and pretzel charcuterie board just outside of the curtain for the girls and the mice. All will be in harmony. 😉 This is one of the funniest action movies I have ever seen. Arnold's "Sorry" cracks me up every time.
One of my favourite part in these videos is also the "technical difficulties". :D Girl is so adorable and the applaus always gets me.
I love that you don't edit out the scenes where your kids interrupt the reaction, it makes your videos so much more real.
The sitcom applause always gets me 😂
😊That young lady is also apart of the show. I expect to see her every now and again.
@@ChrisWake it's a proximity alert
Also that Technical Difficulties display cracks me up :)
Love those technical difficulties. Always makes me laugh. Negotiation skills are 💯
You guys covered True Lies at the perfect time because my wife and I are in Miami for the first time and we’ll be driving down the keys all the way to Key West later in the week. Every time I think of the causeway, I always think of True Lies even though it was not the actual bridges destroyed during filming.
It's wild to hear Mrs. Movies mention Dollhouse. It's an underrated gem that most people haven't even heard of, but I love it. Now I'm just dreaming of Mr and Mrs reacting to Buffy and Angel one day - it'll almost certainly never happen, but a man can dream lol
Oh doll house I forgot , I liked her better than buffy , but then there was that other one with Jessica alba ? I just thought they had all these female lead flops but 90s an 2000s it was normal😳
Jessica alba!!! 😂
i wishhhh. im a huge buffy fan. i would love it if they did.
@@fkajackiebrown_ I literally insta-sub to any Buffy reactor, so it'd be a dream come true if they did. I honestly think they'd both really enjoy Buffy and Angel, but I'm not getting my hopes up lol
@@fkajackiebrown_ they will reboot it 😩
@Jordan McLaren I get nervous with new people watching buffy and angel because I love the characters and show so much and some people just rip it to shreds not knowing what theyre getting into and they point out it's flaws consistently or whatever the case may be and I get internally defensive. 😅😂 I would hope they'd love it but who knows. Maybe one day they will and surprise us both. Lol 😁
This was a lovely piece of work by Cameron.
That original film, "La Totale!" came out the same year as T2:Judgment Day.
'Bigger than average' genre film and that worked like a charm.
TL is exactly what it's suppose to be.
Hardcore Spy/Comedy where the laughs and blasts are on the same level.
Arnold personally wanted Jamie Lee Curtis at top billing as the lead actress.
Because her character meant as much to the story as her husband's did.
The studio definitely changed their tune and were wrong about putting her name under the title's name.
The late Bill Paxton as Simon the fake (3rd film with Cameron as well) was quite the performance.
Prior to this film, Cameron was originally involved with Spider-Man and X-Men becoming films
which had the industry losing their minds.
Also the late, great Charlton Heston resembling classic Nick Fury as boss of The Omega Sector
was out of Cameron's fandom for Marvel.
Other than that, it was great to see Cameron and Arnold working together again.
Don't know about the tv series.
It looks okay.
Just not my thing.
I totally forgot this film was done by Cameron, until I re-watched it a few years ago. I was on my spy thriller / Mission Impossible / James Bond kick then, during the COVID lockdown.
My favorite Tom Arnold flick. In high school (yes, Ottumwa) Tom's youngest sister (skinny cheerleader) sat behind me in classroom 219, kept leaning forward to whisper in my ear "where'd you find the answer...". She graduated in spite of my help and our moms are still friends.
At the end of the Harrier jet sequence, the words "you're fired" remind me that Schwarzenegger was the boss on The Apprentice for a bit.
For Halloween Mrs. Movies should be Doris. Similar body type, hair & facial shape. She could totally rock that dress with flower-water hair... and wobble in 3" heels just like Jaime Lee did!
"Boy, I remember the first time I got shot out of a cannon!" 😂😂😂
"No prickles", 30 seconds later "ok half a pickle". She's quite the little negotiator 😂
There is a good movie from the 90s starring Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner where they are a spy couple on maternity leave, and of course things go awry. The movie is called "Undercover Blues" and I recall it was a really fun comedy with some action in it. Stanley Tucci is also in it, and I remember there was a running joke with his character that always cracked me up.
That’s wild we dropping the same exact movie tonight lol
I noticed that too. I will be watching both. Cant wait for your reactions guys. Today is gonna be a good day. Catch ya tonight. 😉
Awesome. Definitely gonna watch.
"Looks like he's aiming for the bushes"
*There goes my hero......Watch him as he goes*
That striptease scene with Jamie Lee Curtis is one of the hottest/best improvised moments in all of cinema
TRUE TRUE Ackward and Sexy in the same time
did u know...when Jamie Lee Curtis fell in the dance scene, she really fell? u can tell by how Arnold broke character. He wanted to go help Jamie in that split sec he got up.
Cameron loved it so much that he decided to keep it in the actual movie instead of an outtake.
I don't believe you
As I understand it, she did so in accidentally in rehearsal and Cameron told her to do it again in the actual scene. But they didn't tell Arnold.
@@AndresPrez that sounds like a you problem.
@@mchllwoods It's a problem for you.... you are the one who can't live without my trust.
Go to your room and Think about that... 🥸🤌
the strip or the dance at the end ?
Omg well done on the 100k subscribers! Just noticed after watching this reaction 😊 congrats you two, very much deserved 👏
You should check out "Commando" (1985) to see a pre-Terminator Arnold in action. It also stars a very young (13) Alyssa Milano and it's one of the first major appearances of Rae Dawn Chong (the daughter of Tommy Chong of Cheech & Chong). You could say it was a "practice run" for this character.
The snack negotiations were too cute. 🥰
The pickle interruption was adorable! As an aside, I'm really sorry to admit this, but I always throw my cheese on the floor too. :)
One of my "I feel blue and need something to cheer me up" go-tos
I've said it a thousand times and I just have to say it again -
"I married Rambo" ..."No Dear, you married the f*ing Terminator!" 😂
Looking forward to your reaction to this cheesy crazy altime 90s classic 🍿😊
Tom Arnold “Who would take the ice cube trays?!?”😢
Roseanne Barr “AND? I also took the stove knobs and all of your socks!” 😱😱
🖖
The Arnold and Tom Arnold combo worked nicely in this movie. Tom Arnold was best left in the 90’s.
As a dad, I love the parent talk.
Congrats on 💯,000! Well deserved 👏
Even Michael Myers would take a break and sit in the chair for the Jamie Lee Curtis dance routine
Gross! That’s his sister. What is he, a Skywalker?
Dude, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or bad.
@@jrobwoo688 in the new movie wich is current time line, they said theyre not no siblings, that was made of.
@@jrobwoo688 nope they are not siblings in the newer trilogy
Man, that Kenny Powers really messed Halloween up, I guess.
a couple of fun facts:
They filmed the limo on the bridge scene on Jamie Lee's birthday and she asked to do the stunts herself, which they allowed... That look of terror/ exhilaration on her face was very real.
Also, during the seduction dance scene, when she fell over, that was real, not scripted. Props to her for getting straight back into it without missing a beat.
So Arnold's reaction to her falling wasn't scripted either lol
Just as her character said, “I just wanted to do something outrageous, and it felt good”
Great reaction you two...
Fun Trivia Fact - both the exteriors and interiors of the opening Swiss Villa is actually 'Rosecliff Mansion located in the city of Newport, in the state of Rhode Island. It is open to the public and you can actually visit it. Yes they do have a website too.
Charlton Heston was the perfect choice for the boss.
Mice are a constant battle. Just don't do like I did & leave a glass that had jack&coke in it. The mouse that got in that cup went wild & ran into walls all night long 😂 It was a nightmare!
Not for the mouse, they had the tube of their life 😂
As an Argentinean I can say that is not tango they are dancing. The song is a tango called Por Una Cabeza, but they are definitely not dancing tango.
Al Pacino in Scent Of A Woman is dancing tango.
I would love to see Star Trek reactions on your channel.
OG, TNG, Voyager, would be awesome.
always sooo cute when you guys get "technical difficulties". an adorable handful difficulty 🙂
Congratulations on passing the big figure!!! You guys got me into watching reactions and your genuineness, perceptiveness, and affection for each other (and the little ones, of course) are truly endearing!!! Oh, yeah, you're funny as hell, too!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I remember the audience cheering a ton during the last 20-30 minutes of this
Faith, The Vampire Slayer, saves the day!
You know that we have figured out what causes those “technical difficulties”! 😂
A couple of things: it is my understanding that the tango sequences were added to the film because Arnold saw Sean Connery do that dance in his unofficial last Bond performance, Never Say Never Again and wanted to be as cool and suave as James Bond. Also, the stunt with Helen getting pulled off the car on the bridge was actually done by actress in a special harness.
"I've wasted 5 pickles on you this week" is somehow a perfect example of being a parent 😂
So what I think the one-liner ("You're fired") meant was this: You're fired from your job, and you got fired from a missile.
My sister’s bachelorette was in the Keys and I forced her and two other friends to drive from the Florida airport specifically so I could cross the True Lies bridge. That’s how much I love the scene of him lifting her from the limo lol.
It's the same bridge used in License To Kill with Timothy Dolton right?
@@parker469a I don’t remember. I saw that movie as a kid and remember none of it so could be!
I saw the helicopter and airplane stunt being filmed at the beginning of that movie when stationed at NAS Key West.
@@shawnkeeley6108 The Popcorn in Bed sisters watched it last week so it looked fairly close though, I don't know how different two blue water 100 mile long bridges could look. I loved it when I was young and I still think it's in the top ten for Bond movies.
My favorite James Cameron movie. Also Arnold at his top form. Best for me was when Arnold pulls her out of the car. Fantastic FX / stunt work.
Wow congratulations on 100k finally❤
One of my childhood favorites, same year i was born too. Also congrats on the 100k subscribers y'all, always love your reactions 🤙🍻
James Cameron also wrote and directed The Abyss (1989), with Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Michael Biehn.
Another great Spy Couple movie was Keeping Up with the Joneses (2012) with Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher, Jon Hamm, Gal Gadot and Patton Oswalt.
"Does the cover have Arnold with a gun?" Sure, that narrows it down 😂😂😂
PICKLE-GATE! When will the truth come out? Was it really 5 pickles? Do mice like pretzels more our less then pickles? Who will eat the cheese? THE PUBLIC DEMANDS ANSWERS! 😊
Guaranteed it was the CIA.
What i absolutely love abour you two is the frequency with which you watch stuff and the choice of what you watch. Y'all are beautiful. Keep being you
After the disappointment that was Last Action Hero, True Lies was a sorely needed return to form for Arnold.
That dance where she missed the pole is actually real but the director loved the reaction so much that it went in the final cut.
@16:31, best Arnie impression 😂😂 Thanks for that!
3:20 - "I've wasted five pickles on you this week"
Well in your daughter's defense, pickles are high in sodium and you can mitigate the sugar by giving her a slice of apple.
That's the best Ah-nold impression I've ever heard
"I've seen trading places" what a wild man lol.
Just so you know, those weren't UZIs, they were MAC-10 machine pistols.
Yes ! I’m not the only gun geek.
@@ysmith494 Yep. 😂 I know the two guns are often easily confused, but the MAC-10 is the gun that Kurt Russell used in Escape From New York, while the UZI 9mm is the gun that Arnold used in The Terminator.
@@44excalibur I personally like the smaller Mac - 11
Those things were cool.
I was 5 years old when my dad brought this movie from Blockbuster. I remember my breath pacing fast as hell when the horse was on the roof and galloping for the jump. So glad he didn't follow through, but my breath paced faster when Harry asked Dana to jump. My dad tells me to this day how he had to pause the movie because it was the first time I had a panic attack. He asked me if I needed it to stop or if I needed time. I couldn't respond and he held onto me as I closed my eyes. My breathing slowed down enough. "Go". He played the movie and he kept holding onto me 'til the end. My breath was still pacing through the sequence until I saw Art Malik get his balls smashed on the rear wing of the Harrier. An unforgettable night at home with the movies.
"Your negotiation skills are horrible" 😂
The movie was ok but that pickle negotiation was adorable! Great reaction guys!
The pickle subplot was devious.
In a special cameo - the helicopter pilot reporting her head in the guy's lap, "yahoo..." - that's James Cameron.
The bits where Arnie is super pissed at the dinner table and being sneaky about inviting Jamie Lee to lunch really makes me wish he'd play a villain again.
She doesn't eat the pickles!? Scandalous!
The horse refusing to jump is my favorite part
By the by the interruptions by your daughter and the fact you keep them in add such a lovely touch
I so Loved he Mrs. reactions to this iconic Action/Comedy movie!!! It's in my DVD collection! Thank you both for watching and reacting to this!!
Oh and keep here Mr....she is hot!
They actually blew up that bridge. It was a decommissioned span in the Keys.
Favorite Action Scene: (and fun fact:) When Jamie Lee Curtis was pulled out of the car through the sunroof on the bridge, that was really her doing the stunt. Paraphrasing from an interview: "It was my birthday, and I talked James (Cameron) into letting me do the stunt. If you look at it closely, you can see Arnold and James in the helicopter along with the stunt coordinator." We didn't tell the insurance company until it was over."
No, she hung from the helicopter, Donna Keegan was pulled from the limo.
"Your negotiation skills are horrible." LOL! Your kiddo is going to have an extensive vocabulary.
2:53 OMG her pickle negotiation skills are top tier
45:31 Fun Fact: James Cameron really wanted to do this shot for real, no CGI. Jamie Lee Curtis REALLY didn't want to do it, so she asked him in anger, 'And WHERE exactly will YOU be whilst I'm doing this stunt?', thinking Cameron will be sitting comfortably somewhere on the ground, watching on the monitors. James Cameron's answer convinced her to do it.....
'I'll be dangling outside of the helicopter, holding the camera filming you!'.
The Dad said No pickle, but the Mother "UNDERMINDED" him by giving her Half a Pickle.
18:40 the woman in the background, “Is that Arnold?” Yes,Tom and Schwarzenegger. 😊
"Harrier is the only plane that can vertically land and take off."
Operational since 2008 the F-35 Lightning has this capability. Unlike the Harrier with its rotating multiple exhausts the F-35s traditional rear exhaust can pivot down until it is slightly pointing forward.
Bill Paxton said "like a 10 year old boy" and his other colorful lines were adlibs he made, taken from things he heard his dad say growing up. He also used his dad for his character Chet in Weird Science but not sure if you guys watched that one. His dad must have been... something. lol
"Your negotiation skills are horrible." 🤣🤣 I don't think I've ever heard a parent say that. lol
Mice, I used to have a mouse problem until I rescued a kitten from outside. She's almost a year now and on 18 kills.
Jamie's dance scene is the best in the whole movie, says every guy. Arnold has said that doing that scene with Jamie was "extremely enjoyable".
fun fact 1 : thats not an uzi , its an ingram mac 10 / 11 , the dropping down the stairs and continuing to fire is a real thing with those guns , they were badly designed with crap sears that had a tendency of running away or if you let the trigger go it will keep firing till it was out of ammo , there was no drop safety either so if you dropped it it could chamber a round and dump the mag ,
fun fact 2 : the harrier isnt the only vertical take off and landing aircraft its just the most famous , france had one called the balzac that never went in to service , germany had 3 designs including a passenger transport , russia had 2 designs with one going in to operational service and they only made a handful , there was p 2839 that became the kestrel and that ended up becoming the harrier , now theres the v 22 osprey and the f35 b , f35 b being the harriers replacement
Outrageous

41:00 No it's not risky to throw or do anything around a nuclear bomb. It's not gasoline or nitro. A nuclear bomb is heavily purified plutonium which is encased in uranium when it goes off a type of C-4 hits all sides of the uranium causing it to be crushed until fission happens which then hits the plutonium on all sides as well also causing a fission reaction.
