The flutes are so iconic with this OST so I'm so glad you managed to make it work in a more intense song like this! (The new Tara sprite is fantastic as well, love the perspective change compared to the old one)
I'm feelin kinda lazy, so I'll just split into it's separate sections with time stamps. 0:00 - 0:20 The first 20 seconds of build up here are pretty nice, as half of it sounds simple and not too complex, but then the second half of this segment a rock guitar joins in alongside a bunch of other instruments to a create a more fuller sounding intro, building up into the main theme. I also like that each half of this part has a little end section to it as well, which make for great transitions into the next part of the song. 0:21 - 0:42 Now this is definitely a major improvement over the source. I love the guitars in this section, especially since I don't remember them during those first streams. They definitely add a nice bit of background pizzazz here, really selling home the intensity of this battle field. This also continues that trend from the first 20 seconds, where the first half of this section sounds simple, while the second half loops the first half but adds more instruments and intensifies it. Really cool detail, and this skill can prove useful in the future for making motifs and other looped melodies. 0:43 - 1:03 This brings back our favorite flutes and violins from previous songs, however instead of being just long background notes, they actually work as both long notes in this section, as well as fast melodic notes, that give a unique twist to how they're used in other songs. Also wanna add I love the little main theme sneaking into the background before transitioning into the next section, adding onto the list of extremely fluid transitions in this song. 1:04 - 1:24 This part repeats the part from 0:21 - 0:42, but at adds it's own spin, including a very nice flute that briefly takes over as the melody before leaning into the next section. Absolutely love how old instruments return to help keep a consistent identity, something some composers sometimes struggle with. 1:25 - 1:45 Another great section that takes the basic idea you got it from, and totally makes it 10x better. The guitars here rock, and the bass blows the template out of the water. Not to mention that guitar build up transition at the end, which I remember watching you make, and seeing it in action is super cool. 1:46 - 1:56 A cool part that fits really well for this last part of the song, starting with a cool melody that leads into the next one. 1:57 - 2:18 HOLY MOLY THE FLUTES AND GUITARS TRADING OFF?!?!? I love the way it's done here, including those trumpets at the end too, which helps make this probably one of my favorite parts of the song. I love the jumping between instruments with the melodies here, creating an almost battle like scream of two sides fighting, coming together with the trumpets at the end at some climatic end point of this part. 2:19 - 2:28 And this is the end, going back into some of those instruments from the beginning that helped hold the original melody, but spicing it up with one final new melody. I also love the drums here, as they slam on the beats emphasizing a final blow being had, before subtly (and very nicely) flowing back into the loop. Overall a great theme, that really helps give the feel of a battle arena!
It’s got a jazzy melody, with the instruments you’d expect to hear in some kind of… orchestral rock track. A bizarre combination on paper, but WOW, you guys made it work!

I'll be completely honest here. This absolutely shreds.
Such a banger makes you feel ready for rushing in battle love it
This is SUCH a hype vibe. It just gives the vibes of the protagonists coming into their own. Pretty much instantly added to my music playlist.

DANG, This sounds Incredible ❤❤❤
Definitely cooked. The flute works amazingly with the guitar. Keep up the great work!

Very nice
Somehow you manage to top yourself every time. Those sax, flute and guitar solos were divine. Great job.
Es una gran cancion
Perfecta para las batallas

PEAKALICIOUS!
What the battle arena gonna be?
the description talks about it a bit! It's essentially an enemy gauntlet with unique enemies and bosses.
@@animalrpgdev like a pit of 100 trials type gauntlet or Spirit Tracks (with boss rematch) type gauntlets?
