When OU812 was released, I was 17 years old. I remember getting the cassette the first day it was released. I popped it into my car system. Mine All Mine had me mesmerized, and then When It's Love came after. I got chills. I rewound the cassette and played it again. I looked up and said, that's a perfect song. It's been my favorite Van Halen song ever since. I've been a fan since 1978.
I was almost 10 years old. In fact, they played Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh on my 10th birthday June 19, 1988. I did realize that at the time, as playing baseball was my top priority in those days… next to Van Halen This was the first song and video I heard off the album. I remember seeing it on VH1, and then came Finish What You Started, then It Feels So Good. And VH1 played the hell out of OU812 videos OU812 fit well with what VH1 was in those days too
Man, that was a great time in music. So glad and Sammy and the gang are still singing VH songs. It was so good hear live back in the day. The 80s that is 👍
Thank you so much for posting these videos! Sammy Hagar was awesome before Van Halen, awesome during Van Halen, and obviously, awesome after Van Halen! I am a fledgling channel who is doing basically the same thing as you... And these videos 100% earned you a spot on my future channels! Please keep the phenomenal videos and music coming! Again, thank you so much 🙂

Considering Sammy is 75 years old, he nailed it! He started to struggle with this alerady on the FUCK tour
Why isn't Sammy playing guitar? He's an awesome player
No need for rhythm guitar with the keyboard and Vic's lead lines...simple song d, f ,g chords and some inversions around them
Probably my favorite Van Hagar song but this was not Sammy’s best rendition.
This song is REALLY hard to sing and the dude's 75 years old! You're not wrong, but the fact that he's still performing it at all is amazing!
Point taken. Can’t believe that he’s 75. Man we’re getting old….
