Sammy Hagar & The Circle (featuring Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson)'s debut live double-CD release "At Your Service" documents the blistering performance of a band on fire performing hits from Sammy's 4 decades of rock (Montrose, Solo, Van Hagar, Wabos) as well as classic tracks from the Led Zeppelin catalog.

The Van Halen songs with Sammy had depth and meaning. They are like anthems for life.

FWIW even taking that in to account, I will always love Sammy with Van Halen over Dave because from the age of 11 in 85 to 22 in 96 he was the voice of Van Halen, the one I grew up with. Still one hell of a band with either of those two.
Not really. Sam just sings about whatever happens to be “hip” at the time. There’s no consistent, genuine point of view with him. It’s all marketing. Which makes sense because he’s a businessman. Everything is made to sell. That’s why you have songs called Dreams and then The Dream is Over. You have Poundcake and then two tracks later Spanked. Good Enough then Not Enough. With Roth, you have a singular point of view and it speaks to an attitude. Goes way beyond good music. He’s a convicted artist who walks it like he talks it.

32 years later. This song still gives me Goosebumps. Since the news of Eddie Van Halen's passing on Monday. The outpouring support of other Musicians sending their Condolences on what Eddie meant to the world of Music. And how Van Halen inspired their own music Career. Very sure Eddie & his Father are catching up on old times upstairs. Even jamming tunes. Can Imagine Eddie's on Guitar while his Father's on Clarinet. Read that part when I had the CD of VH 2
Michael Anthony most underappreciated vocals of VH.. Glad he's happy with Sammy
tonif74 out of all the VH band members (past and present). Mike is probably the most grounded. He’s still married to his high school sweetheart and he has never bashed the VH brothers, despite the shitty ways they treated him.
Don't forget Anthony is an awesome bass player too.

Sammy is a Class Act, you know when we lost Eddie that a part of Sammy was broken... It is so obvious he loved Ed because he keeps the Life of Van Halen going by continuing to Play the setlists... I am so Happy they managed to make up with each other... Awesome Song...
The Van Halen boys made some mistakes. Not sticking with the Van Hagar collaboration was by far the biggest. I've always liked both separately but Van Hagar was Van Halen at its best. I'm glad Sammy took Michael Anthony (my favorite member of Van Halen) and gave him the recognition he deserves.

True world class musicians and entertainers, these guys will never get old or boring, wishing them always the very best and continued success. Anyone else catch in the beginning intro, between the 10-15 second mark it sounds like a voice saying “don’t walk away and then there’s a deep sounding laugh sound.

I think both talents needed each other... The reality is that Sammy and Van Halen, by joining their paths, catapulted their careers to give us the great musical legacy that they have left us together. No one can really say for sure how the story would have been if they had taken different paths since success in music is not certain and many times it is ephemeral....

Sammy, Michael Anthony and the Circle rocked "The Woodlands" Texas last Friday and I was there with my best Jersey friend and we rocked so hard in our lawn seats that I went home with no voice, but a big smile from the experience!!

You are the man Sammy. That Chickenfoot III album was great 13 yrs l8ter. I listened to it at least 20x mowing the lawn today. (April '24) That song "Something gone wrong" blew me away. I've probably listened to it 50x in a row. Y'all have to make a new album cause "We The People" need it. That band is something special for all of you. I think that song is some of your best work collectively.

I absolutely LOVE Sammy!! Loved Montrose in the 70's - he just keeps getting better. I am a St Louie Redhead - concert 1983 Checkerdome - best concert ever. Wore my concert tshirt from 83 in 2001 at Riverport STL. Hope to see him again soon ❤❤❤😘

I'm so glad that Michael is with Sammy. He is extremely talented and I knew he had a great voice but I didn't realize how great until he sang a solo part in one of their songs. I kept thinking that doesn't sound like Sammy and hey, that's Michael.

Sammy's band sounds twice as good as the current Van Halen dose. Its because Sammy and Michael Anthony are great performers, Vic is just an amazing guitar player, jason bonham a monster drummer. Eddie and Alex have Dave oh well!
Van Halen screwed up when they let Michael go and replaced him with the kid. And Sammy was another stupid loss
Huge shout out to Vic. This is how you do it. You can tell he has mad respect for Eddie and the song. He also has his own playing style. Yet he manages to combine the two things together and pull off an incredible version of the song.
