Ever have any trouble getting it to pass smog in California? I have an 1988 and finally got it to pass smog after a lot of $$$$. The mechanic did a great job fixing it but says it might not pass next time because of California strict smog laws.
Not really. Sometimes I have to replace the catalytic converter but thats about it. Just always make sure all the vacuum lines are in place and working correctly👍
I just did a carburetor overhaul for my '89 YJ and this video was exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Great video, thank you.👍

Any chance you send me a video how and where you connected the vacuum lines to the carburetor

Wow; I would’ve thought by that time they would’ve had fuel injection systems. When did they switch?
Car came out great!
Only the first few years of the YJ had carbs after that they switched to FI

Nice cheep !
$80 on ebay for an entire brand new carb. Im goif for a new one for mine.
Sometimes cheap new carbs are worse than rebuilt stock carbs.

I also posted part 3 of the silent build today 👍
