- Fan belt is about had it in the 1100, so I thought I’d make a quick how to video. Ironically, I’ve had people ask recently how it worked, so, here we go!

Thanks for doing that video. Just so happened the fan belt broke on my 1135 this morning while I was disking a field. I knew the belt was ending its existence but just didn't know how long and hadn't tried to repair because I thought it was going to be a pain staking process. Now I can order the belt and be satisfied in knowing that I can get the job done because of your video. Thanks again. Very helpful!!!
Class video, very informative and easy to follow.
I learned something and got a laugh, love your commentary
Very nice video friend you know your tractors 🚜 really well done take it you done some research on your beautiful trator and please keep the great videos coming and please please stay safe friend from Scotland
We actually adapted an old 14mm wrench to do that job. At the factory those 4 bolts had been torqued up to " F......... tight" 😉 they were absolute buggers to undo, so we got a 14mm spanner* that had a ring on one end and open on the other, cut the open end off then put a length of pipe on it! I haven't been a farmer for 27 years but I reckon I still have that spanner* somewhere *Yes, spanner, I'm British .😉
I like repair jobs where you can carry all the tools in your pocket and have a free hand for your favorite beverage !
Thanks Brother! Definitely wouldn’t have known about recessed bolt holes. And…you worked in a “ that’s what she said !” Perfect!
anytime! glad I could help 😉
Hey JT, just a quick tip, when you or someone you know is working on a front end leaders, if you get yourself a peace of pipe or two, and split them lengthwise just enough to fit over the rams and set them on the cylinders, and then rest the loader on them it will act as a safety factor for when you are working on the tractor. Because when you use a 2x4 to hold up the loader it can accidentally be kicked out of place and cause an accident
Thank you so much for the video I would have never known about those recesses I've been fighting 1105 for 2 days trying to change the belts
😮 I love the way you enjoy working on them old machines I can never afford a new one nor do I want one I run 1970s equipment my newest one I think is in maybe the 80s late 80s I have a 574 International and 895 in the National and a Ford 8000 and a Ford 4000 and then I also have five Massey Harris two Junior 101 two super 101 and a 81 and I like working on all of them when I have a shop just when the weather gets crappy I don't like working on anything

Red add a link adjustable belt.
Why the hell can't I get mine to slide forward
That’s a good question. I’ve done these on other 00 and 05 masseys and they always slide, is there a burr on the shaft maybe?
I’m an expert at that , did it 4 times in than a year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
right! hopefully you don’t get any more unnecessary practice at that 😉
