I'm only applying to Texas schools (most likely), so this was a really helpful video! I never see these types of videos with a lot of the colleges I'm interested in
No problem! I used to love watching these too! I just really wanted to contribute by documenting my experience with Texas Universities because I didn't see too many RUclips videos either! I'm so glad you thought it was helpful, thank you for watching! 😁🥳
Congrats on deciding on Baylor. Also a great major! I’m an industrial engineering major at Texas A&M and it’s awesome. It’s tough, but the degree is worth it! Gig em 👍
What was your gpa and sat score in hs??? Cause i have always wanted to go to A&M but I need to raise my gpa up somemore. I just finished my first semester of junior year and I am at a 3.60 and am planning to take like 3 APs and 2 dual credit classes my senior year to boost it up. I also haven’t taken the real SAT yet but am studying for it to ace it.
@@parkermills3183 I’m a aerospace engineering major at tamu, but I’m in Galveston rn for my first year for my entry to a major process, I got into the college of engineering with a 1200 SAT with 550 reading and 650 math and a 3.8 unweighted GPA and a 4.1 Weighted gpa. Hope this helps.
Hi I'm also planning on going to Baylor this fall! Can you tell us a bit more about applying for additional scholarships? I haven't been able to find more to apply to.
I would DEFINITELY consider applying to scholarships through your university, the more the better! Baylor offered so many scholarships (departmental or not) and I received more than I expected! The normal tuition fee for Baylor is $64,000 and I ended up paying less than half that number by just applying to a good number of scholarships! You can start applying by Googling "Baylor Scholarship Application" and the website should take you to the right pages!
i’m going to baylor this fall. i think it’s funny to see what things you got with your admissions package. baylor sent me and my roommates hammocks instead of masks and backpacks lol
What classes did you take in high school and your grades each year? Also did you take any summer classes? Or dual credit or ap and which ones? I am planning to apply to some of those schools too!
Hello! I took Dual Credit classes (30 credit hours) in History, English, Government, Economics, and Chemistry during high school... I have a 99.88 GPA and a 3.8 college 4-point coming into Baylor! I hope this helps!
Do you think I have a chance at Baylor? I have a 3.73 gpa I’m in the medical field I have a medical license becoming a medical assistant and a Phlebotomist! I don’t take ap classes tho:/
Hi! I'm sorry for watching this too late! But can you tell me about Baylor? Like is this school gives scholarship to all(international students too)? And what was your total cost?
The only 2 colleges in Texas that I looked into is Texas A&M and Texas State but I like Texas State better than Texas A&M because Texas State is smaller than Texas A&M and I’m used to going to a small school because I went to a private school for high school but my first 2 options are in Oklahoma OU and OSU

I ended up not receiving any outside scholarships (even though I applied for +20) but here are the awards I received from Baylor after sending in a couple applications for scholarships: Baylor Choice, Founders, Need Based, plus a Federal Grant, and a Tuition Equalization Grant... I definitely would recommend applying for as many scholarships as you can through the college you are applying for! It was definitely worth all the effort! I ended up receiving about $30,000 of Gift Aid for this upcoming academic year! Woo hoooo! Thank you for the question! 🥳🥳
Eek it was pretty bad... a 1070 on the SAT isn't too great! Buuut I just chose to not submit my SAT score to Baylor for my admission and it worked out just fine!

UMHB and Baylor have automatic scholarships. The amount depends upon your class ranking/GPA. Top 10% is more money than the top 50%. Understand?
I didn’t know that. So based off how much she received, can you kind of guess what her rank would’ve been?
I've applied for Texas A&M Univ and I really hope I Will get an offer by admissions
