Kyle Peterson yes Great! We did it also on our Quattro B5. Unfortunately it’s in German 😬 we replaced all bushings on the rear axle. Nice work 😬 ruclips.net/video/Aw0F3ElyvEk/видео.html
So little content online for the B5, let alone quality as theses! I suspect the channel died, wich is a shame but do know you made a difference, at leadt for me and a fee others ❤ Cheers mate
good to see you are doing one-off vids like these. not many if at all online. keep them coming. even if you think it's a dumb maintenance thing just hit record man
Solid videos, B5ISLIFE!! I appreciate the clear video and well spoken presentation. Its wild that you think that subframes so bad off... NJ gets way way more snow than SOUTHERN OHIO and my rear subframes on both my b5s were way worse off. Clean cars too. Just our luck haha
Just ordered these. Hoping between that and a new center support bearing (I've changed b4 about 4yrs ago), I can get rid of this clunk if I let off the clutch to quick or even just driving and I hit the gas then let off and hit it again it'll bang. I can and have been managing this for over 6yrs now to drive pretty smoothly but there's always times where it'll bang.lol
Great video bud love these how too's been helping me alot. I'm going to be changing the subframe out in the next few months too so will be watching out with yours
Appreciate all the content. You should also consider doing the apikol diff mount. Makes a big difference as well. Also dont forgot to film dropping and installing the sub frame! Also an update of how the new motor is running?
Thanks for all the ideas. I’ll try and get an update on the motor going soon. I’m 100% getting the Diff mount. Either apikol or ECS haven’t decided yet.
I did this on my Laser red Stage 3 S4. My old Apikol mounts turned to dust after about 8 years of hardly any driving and being mostly indoors. This stuff should last longer. For me I did not have to take the exhaust off. The part slid right out. There might have been much more room on mine because my mounts were shot. Unsure. Well done Video!
@@CIPGAS Yes the blue stuff. I have the diff stabilizer part too. I still have to check if thats toast as well. Guessing it is. The car was constantly clunking.
I’m going through this problem myself… I can no longer find a replacement bushing on there website nor can I find one anywhere… I’m assuming it’s discontinued considering a4 b5’s r a decently old car to work
Found these on bro turning. www.urotuning.com/products/audi-rear-diff-cross-member-bushings-b4-b5-92-01-08a0240?currency=USD&variant=14536092647479&Google%20Shopping&gclid=CjwKCAiA3pugBhAwEiwAWFzwdR-vAHY0MiFdkpHn-vxb4WXvXg-vVpFHLLzHaq0OlyoJbAvwuAf6ehoCdAEQAvD_BwE
Great video. This is the first time I've seen anyone actually make a how to video on replacing the bushings.
Thanks! I’ll try to keep them coming.

Thank you!
Definitely not a dead channel yet, just had some big “good” life changes and things will start back up soon
Man, the rear sway will feel so good when you replace it. One of the best improvements to the driving dynamics of the car.
Can’t wait man! Just been back and forth between 034 or Hotchkis
4uattros4 I love my Hotchkis.

Thanks man! I’ll make sure to keep cranking them out.
Great job on the filming and editing. really enjoying these videos!

Wow we’re the old mounts made of the same material?

I need to do my diff mount on my b7 for sure, also putting my 18z kit together
nice man! 18Z’s are gonna look great on the car and stop on a dime
@@CIPGAS facts i need them 🤝🤝
Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
welcome!
Great video, do you happen to have the bolt torque specs? I can't find them anywhere
Excellent video thanks. Doing this soon on b7 and this is super helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Were your bushings extremely soft? I just got a pair and without the sleeve in i can squish the busing together. Seems like the softest bushing ever.
Mine were soft but I don’t remember them being that soft
Great video champion! Good job 👍
Glad you liked it!
You weren't lying, that did look easy! What diff carrier are you looking at? I've had my eye on the 034 motorsports one.
Yeah the install is pretty simple. Thinking of going with apikol for the mount too.

How are they holding up?
Great so far!
What was your talk specs for the cross member installation
Not sure I torqued it, just got it nice and tight.
