For standing desk, I got an adjustable hand crank workbench from Home Depot (big box hardware store). Way cheaper than an actual adjustable standing desk, has wheels and looks industrial which is my style.
Nice review mate, doesn't surprise me you're a video editor. Was glad it's not one of those unboxing videos where every piece needs to be layed out. Tried one of these at Ikea recently and was surprised its more comfortable than expected. Not sure how it'll be for long term daily usage but i love the clean minimal lines
I'm going to buy the version without the wheels. I just need to swivel to get out from behind the desk, and saves me from having to protect the wooden floor (little IKEA stick-on chair feet pads for cheap floor protection). Thank you for the video. I'm going to visit IKEA to compare the high and low back versions. I like yours, I think, which I guess is the high back.
I bought two of these in Singapore before watching your terrific review, I assembled one and made a discovery given I do not like & do not have Air Conditioning, therefore the foam fabric back rest was too hot against my back, IKEA has A/C so I didn't see the obvious 'con' & I have subsequently bought this to the attention of IKEA. So I made an attempt to return these chairs, unfortunately the RETURN POLICY doesn't include items UNPACKED, so I got stuck with one... arghhh!!
Thanks for the video. Are the wheels a soft rubber, for hardwood floors? And do the wheels roll when you're not sitting in the chair (I thought these had the safety lock feature)?
I’ve had one of these for a couple of years and it’s hurting my lower back. Struggling to find something better that is good value and not the ugly high back Markus
Great review! I got this chair with arms as I'm slightly too short for the Markus chair and found the other options to be uncomfortable. This chair fits into the small of my back and encourages me to lean back instead of leaning forward onto my desk
Would you know if there isn’t me ikea has a height-adjustable but non-swivel chair? I have motion sickness and I’m having a hard time finding that chair. I have the Molte desk chair and that one is uncomfortable.
I've owned this chair 5+ years and didn't realise it has a tension adjust. Regardless though this has been a great gaming/work from home chair and I've had no backache issues with it (5ft 3). The only reason I'm changing chair is because the lack of decent arms and a firm seatbase. Have to say though, this cost me £70 when I purchased it and I cannot fathom why it is now £150!
PLEASE tell me if your chair does the same : when I lay back I can not stop it in this position. I can not choose my angle ! I can move it sure but it dosent stay in the same position... is this normal ? Thank you

Ah sweet, I’ll take a look. Thanks for the advice 👌
Great video josh, do more videos. You can definitely be a RUclips star.

Yo! This was an awesome vid, loved the pacing and editing style. Very surprised you only have 782 subs!

Thanks! I’m going to get one in white when it comes back in stock!
Ay glad to hear it helped 👌
Great video man!! I'll definitely be getting one for my new setup. Did you get the high or low back model?
Thanks so much Jordan! 🙏 this is the High-back version.

Oh no - I’m not too sure what it’s like in Singapore but in Australia and the US they’re pretty forgiving with returns
I regret buying this chair solely because of the wheels. Who in their right mind decided to make them autoblock when you are not sitting?
Thanks for the video. Are the wheels a soft rubber, for hardwood floors? And do the wheels roll when you're not sitting in the chair (I thought these had the safety lock feature)?
Hey Martin! Great question, they are hard wheels with a bit of rubber around the edges so it rolls nicely on the tiles we have and no safety locks
@@joshmchin Great, thanks for the response!

Exact same problem here.
Great review! How much do you weigh? I’m 110kg. Do you think the seat padding will be too thin/firm for me?
I’m around 69kg. Since its firm I think it’ll be fine. Just depends how cushioned you like your chairs. Hope this helps.

What a hideous chair. Is it worth the comfort?
@@theandroids yes, and there are other colour options
How tall are you?
@@HoodieKenneth 173cm
@@maii71 173cm is short? I'm 155cm. I must be a dwarf 🙂
I also want to order this chair. I have a question? Are they ship it in one big box or they ship it separately like in your video?
I’d assume they’d ship in a big box, but cannot confirm. Since I picked it up it came in all these pieces.
OMG - Changed my life!
Glad to hear it! Haha

Agreed 150 pounds is steep

Absolutely normal. Unfortunately the chair doesn’t lock in any other position.
@@joshmchin thank you for your answer (crying in my new chair rn)
I'm going to buy one after watched your video - hope it fit well to me!
Ah glad it helped!
Can you adjust the height of the chair?
Sure, can! With the level on the side
Great review. TYSM.
I got one today!
Congrats!
This is great!
Cool Video
Thanks, Heaps!
