Nice collection John. I also dislike the long version of The Prey. I do however like the shorter version of the film. Deadly Games & Girls Nite Out are good.

Shock is an effectively sinister and creepy film. To me it’s so dark and dismal that it’s even a bit depressing. I think the goal of the film is to make us feel uneasy. It’s hard to believe it’s from the same man who gave us Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs. 😂 I saw it in the theater at an inappropriately young age under the title Beyond the Door Part 2. I recently watched it again for the first time in many years and of course, I appreciate it much more now. That clever jump scare got me good. Arrow offered a Beyond the Door Part 2 slipcover but I chose the original slip out of respect for Bava.
That jolt moment on the landing is ingenious.😱👍

Shock has got an uncomfortable feel to it Gary, you're right mate 🤔👍 definitely a different feel to Dr Goldfoot 🤣🤣 I think films stay with you more when you see them just that little bit "too young" 🤔🤩 I love going back to ones I remember freaking me out as a young kid and seeing if I can spot the scenes or feel after all this time 🤔👍 great jump scene!! 😱 great choice in slips Gary 🤩🤩👍👍

Hi john l enjoyed the sharter cut of The Pray but the longer cut is very boring I didn't like the longer cut at all. What happened was some time after the film was made the director filmed some new parts to show what happened in the back story and put them in the film to make the longer cut this made the film over long and boring as hell. I think if you watch the sharter cut you wiĺl enjoy it

Blood Rage is one of my favourite "so bad its good" films and Ive also got this very nice 3 disc(even though its as you mention here basicly just 2 disc plus DVD copy) LE. I havent got the slip on my Duckling but I have all the rest here except I have the other variant of some of them.
I like the light blue one for Hell High better.
Killer Klowns is one of my favourite slipcovers from Arrow and Im so glad I have it complete since it has now gotten pretty rare and expensive. Guyver, Thief, Elvira, Snake Girl, Brain Damage, Ronin, Stylist are some other very nice slipcover graced ones Im very happy to have complete.
Think I have somewhere around 70 Arrow releases w slipcovers (plus only 3 windowboxes).
Blood Rage is quite a fun watch and it can be classed as so bad it's good as you say mate 😁👌 imagine if you collected all the slip variants 😱 great idea but pretty expensive 🥴😁 it's good to have the choice though 🤩🤩👍👍 yeah Killer Klowns is brilliant 👏 I've got that coming up on a future video 🤩🤩 yeah they are great slips you've mentioned there 😁😁👍👍 that's a great collection you have there and I think that's many more than me 👍👍 I bet you will be familiar with the upcoming parts!!! 🤩🤩👍👍
@@MondoChelloveckMovies I actually did also get the Scaremaker variant of Girls Nite Out.
I ordered it on sale for like £10 then sold it with the booklet(and got almost as much as I had paid) but kept the slip so I have both slipcovers for that one.
I keep it on the shelf with just a dummy empty case inside it.
That Guyver slipcover seems to be pretty rare. Not sure Ive ever seen any for sale here in Sweden.

Black Sunday and Lisa And The Devil (both w booklets and not the windowbox versions) were two of the last I got. You can still find some of the rare OOP ones at decent prices here sometimes.
They probably go for more in the UK.
I made 2 of my friends watch Blood Rage but they didnt like it.
@standinsilence sometimes I think the slip can be more appealing than the movie with some of the Arrow releases 😵💫🤣 The Guyver one is really nice and I've NEVER seen it since the original release 🤔😁👍

The disc on the remastered Killer Klowns is actually as great as the slip!
The PQ is really good and its packed with great extras.
I got Killer Klowns, Guyver and loads of other First Pressing Arrow stuff off the same guy and he was also nice enough to let me take them on payments.
Also got Evils Of The Night (Vinegar Syndrome) w slip off him.
And he also sold his Slasher Classics Blood Harvest complete w slip and booklet to a friend who then in turn ended up selling it for like £22 to me.
And yeah the stuff I bought off him also includes Rabid Dogs, Knightriders, the 3-disc Raising Cain and lots of other rare Arrow or 88 Films stuff. He sold off hus entire collection after waking up one day and realizing he was spending most of the money he had on collecting and just didnt want to collect any more. I wonder if that will ever happen to us?

Another lovely set of Arrow goodness matey.. lovely slips on The Prey and Death Screams ❤️ 👍 you're spot on with Arrow in respect you have to pick and choose your movies but even the average ones you can have a lot of fun watching 👍

I own this disc & it plays ok on my player. Check to see if you're player needs a firmware update. If it doesn't then get a refund or an exchange.

@MondoChelloveckMovies Well, I see you're of a similar age to myself , and can see you like the genre, but as a senior gentleman the amount of films you haven't watched is very strange. This isn't meant to be insulting. But I know you're a great collector, but maybe you should have seen the stuff you get by now, as theses films are very very old. Did you only start watching horror in your later life ?
I also see you tube videos of book collectors of author ( like Stephen King for example) and they have great collections , but whilst talking through their video constantly say " I haven't read this one " for around 80% of the stuff. Bizarre. I'm 52 and watched around 95% of the 73 so called banned list. And the other deck around at the time, it never warped me, but now these films get reissued I'm in tune as what to buy . Btw . I think The Prey is a great little film, it's nostalgic trashy fun. Fabulous film collection. Keep going .
@heathen6165 thanks for the explanation Heathen, if you look through my videos you will get the back story to my journey through Horror (50 years) the main reason for the titles I haven't watched is that for maybe the last 10 or so years the blu ray and even 4k recently has seen a huge upsurge in the amount of classic Horror and titles I like the look of, so before then I was pretty much ahead of the game on watching pretty much everything I have these days it's a lot harder to collect and watch quickly (for me anyway) I can see how you would think that but it's purely down to the availability of stunning editions these days, which is great, I wouldn't like it the other way round that I was sitting waiting for these films to come along!! 🤔🤩 so hope that's more info for you to understand where I'm at with the watch pile.... I must admit I'll watch a good old exploitation film a lot quicker than the latest blockbuster though Heathen 😁👍👍 I'm watching the shorter version of The Prey as I need to give it a second go 👍👍
