If it's any consolation, James Wan is as much of a fan of Wes Craven as we are and The Conjuring and Insidious are his best work.
      To be completely honest,
No offense to Wes himself, but his last movie My Soul To Take was a huge embarrassment.
I never understood what he was trying to point out with the condor thing.
That teenage boy in English class dressed up as a condor looked ridiculous.
Once again no offense to Wes himself,
For your loyal fans who know how you passed away into heaven
It's much better if we focus on the movies you made that are true masterpieces that show you are a true genius.💀💀💀☠️☠️☠️👻👻👻🎃🎃🎃🍿🍿🍿🍕🍕🍕🥤🥤🥤

I met him one time in California after a job interview and the saying is very true. The most talented people you meet in Hollywood are also the nicest people you meet. He was very kind, soft spoken as you'd expect and very honest that he was in a bit of a rush. I merely told him I appreciated his work, said I loved Red Eye (the latest film at the time) he thanked me and then we shook hands and I went on with my day with a giddy/geek just met one of my hero faces...didn't get the job BUT honestly it didn't matter cause that made my day.

I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow than a sleepy and permanent planet.
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them.
