Video is a little long for impatient people like me. I watched it in 1.5 speed hahah. But you gave the clearest instructions and descriptions of the task that I have ever seen on RUclips. No room for guessing and straight to the doubts of anyone attempting for the first time. Thank you so much kind sir for your time and effort filming this video. Good day!
Hi, I think you missed out adding the Aliexpress link. My window switch broke in exactly the same way, I am itching to repair it with Qbond, but doubt that'll ask cause the attachment points are so slim.
Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered a switch from AliExpress, $30. In Australia Porsche want $600 for the part and $300 to replace it. Is it possible to replace the button cap only? Not sure what's broken though, if ot's the white legs or what they attach to.
Yes, I have seen it done without removing the door card but in my opinion that is not easier. The cable that connects to the switch is barely long enough to allow you to remove the switch. There js a video on RUclips demonstrating this. But it can be done.

Well done mate! And yes the parts do look identical except for the paint color. Thanks for another great DIY!!
Hi! Thanks for the video. Is there any button backlight difference in the night? Appreciate if you can share the link for the part on Ali
Thanks mine came away in my hand yesterday so will be doing this soon
Same here. Does the replacement feel the same?
@shaazy still waiting for it to arrive, it's just cleared customs yesterdsy.
@@chrisvenn nice. Can you share a link to the one you ordered? Wanted to mend mine but can't understand exactly what part to apply glue too.
@shaazy I've seen the postman drop the parcel off on the cameras today so will see what it's like later. Don't think I can share links on RUclips.
I ordered from aliexpress about £20

Great video! Can you please share the exact link from AliExpress you used to source this part? Thanks!
nice job! thanks!
Thank you!!!
That’s why people take it to the shop. Too tricky even with trim removers I don’t have.
Good video. Thanks
Hy there is the possibility to pull out the part without disassembling the door panel?
I saw that the cable is longher inside
Thank you

did you even test the window rolling up & down afterwards?
Of course I did. Go to 21:55 of the video. It was the first thing I did once everything was put back together.
@@fickstit2839 good work brother!
