It’s not surprising why SB19 really looked up to Ben&Ben. They’re both amazing lyricists snd storytellers. Their songs are also so relatable.
I found IV of Spades - Mundo maybe 4 years ago. Once that OPM trapdoor opened I found Ben&Ben, then trickled down to Arthur Nery, to Zack Tabudlo, then eventually falling into the PPOP Kings , SB19's lap. & I'm still finding new bands, artists to add to my daily playlist now. I'm trying to catch up on what I've been missing out on but also they keep releasing such great music today so I can't keep up either. But it truly is such a good & fun rabbit hole that I've fallen back into. & so your journey reminds me of mine Im glad to be a part of it.
..OPM is really on a different level..maybe I am biased but I cannot finish the list if you ask me to recommend my favorite OPM songs..😊
This song went directly to my playlist after I first heard this. Not all relationships are perfect and people sometimes do things to jeopardize the relationship. When crossroads are met, decisions need to be made whether to give up or give it another go. Sigh. Life.
this is one of my favorite Ben & Ben songs. I'm so glad you found it! Ben & Ben is as humble and talented as SB19. They write and arrange their own songs. There are also a lot of creatives on the team.

When i first heard of this song i instantly fell in love. The melody kinda reminded me of the classic songs Monrning Has Broken, Longer and Blackbird but with different context.

Another must see is Ride Home! I really love this group. They actually live in a big home all together and I've seen videos of them jamming and creating their craft.
This song made me cry once. Just made me realize how important forgiveness is. The twins Paolo and Miguel write their songs. They are my go-to songs when I needed some uplifting. I will be watching with you on your Ben & Ben journey, hopefully ❤

As a background, a policeman had an argument with a woman and it got so heated that the policeman shot the woman in cold blood. In this song Ben & Ben is questioning the people who were appointed or elected by the people (like the police and other government officials) why instead of protecting and serving the people are the ones abusing them. Asking "who do you think you are ?" when your crown came from the people? This song was released during election time to remind people to be careful who they vote for. In the Philippines an ink is put on the right index finger to signify that a person has already voted. That's why the band raised their index finger at the end of the song with the color of the Phil. flag painted on them to signify the country. You will also get a surprise from this song.
