Gonna be trying to make sure WPA is totally disabled.
Did it fix ja wifi issue ?
Haven’t had time to give it a shot yet. Should have time this weekend to try. Ill post a video when I figure it out though.
Just saw your video 👍🏽 Wifi is an issue for me too. It use to pick-up multiple networks, but never mine. Now it hardly manages to find one. It'll be on the list, next service visit. Otherwise, perfect car.

Really appreciate your videos!!I really want to pull the trigger on buying a Polestar 2 …do you have any regrets I do see you are frustrated with some things but there is a lot of technology in these cars I’m sure even the Tesla‘s have issues. I live in California and gas $$ are insane. I drove the polestar 2 last week and it was amazing. Just wondering your take . Thanks !!
Thanks! The comments are gold! I’m getting some video ideas from this stuff. To answer your questions… NO REGRETS! I would buy another tomorrow if I had to do it again. The issues are small things like the non extending sun visors and the drivers floor mat. BUT the body panel gaps are what you would expect from a semi luxury sport sedan. Build quality is DOPE. For the gas $ worry, I’d say if you plan on taking advantage of the free EA charging and get some type of discount for charging off peak at home go for it! The warning is that insurance is more expensive and so is the vehicle. Don’t over leverage just bc gas is high. Lots of options depending on your situation. If you can afford it and can charge at home its awesome. If you travel long distances the charging locations and speeds aren’t quite there yet.

Its not a night and day update but the biggest improvement so far is with adaptive cruise. It doesn’t seem to bounce between the lines as much and wasn’t as aggressive pulling into an off ramp while driving in the appropriate lane. There was also an improvement to how my phone connects to the car through the app. Just better in general! Thanks BTW! I plan on it!
I agree. I also cannot get my home wifi to connect, although my neighbor's wifi addresses show up! Also, the car still does not respond to my "phone as key" occasionally, or even the touch point on the door handles to lock and unlock. Nuts!
You know I have not tried to only use my phone… Ill have to try and report back. I know it reads and advertises as that being a thing but I don’t know if I would trust it even if it was from Honda!
@@gypsysgarage It's literally the only thing in the app that works for me. I only use my phone. No issues. But almost never get my charge state displayed in the app.
I've read that even past model years of the P*2 Performance Package are now able to get the available performance upgrade for free. Have you downloaded that software update and what are your thoughts on performance improvement?
It is still not available in the states. I’m thinking that they will release it right before the 2023s start getting delivered. As soon as we can get it we will, and ill let y’all know.
Have you solved the WiFi problem.
Do you happen to have a 2.4ghz and 5ghz network with the same SSID? I had issues with a Tesla Powerwall and a particular TV that will not connect to my SSID in that circumstance, but all my other devices have no problem. Just thinking it could be something similar
Haven't solved it yet... Probably gonna give it a crack this weekend. My net works are separated. My last effort is gonna be to try a new wifi router that allows me to disable WPS.
My dad has a Polestar 2 and we have none of these issues in our Dual Motor Long Range Pilot,Plus very weird
Yea issues are hit or miss across vehicles! I’m putting it up to growing pains!
@@gypsysgarage Yep, we did have a TCAM issue, we just re-connected the 12 volt battery. Only took around 20 minutes and that fixed all of our issues with the TCAM.

What wall charger do you have installed?
We are just using the one that came with the P*2 until our charge point home shows up. Have had zero issues with the built in. Using the 220v 50amp.
It's so hard focus on what you're saying with that cool hat in the way.
My WiFi Works GREAT! This car is Unbelievable, not exaggerating. I'm not a fan boy
Mine finally got working after I changed my router out. So I just had some unfortunate compatibility issues! It is definitely an amazing car!
