    Would definitely recommend putting your oil in and then WAITING 10-15 minutes to let air bubbles rise out of the silicone oil. Do everything else the same except wait before capping it up and bleeding it. You'll be really surprised how many air bubbles will simply vanish after waiting for a few minutes. Need to wait a little longer for anything 60w or heavier.

    I have spent over $400 on Pro-Line wheels and shocks and not 1 darn decal but I love my Pro-Line products on all my RC's. RPM gives to many decals lol

    Can you please do a powerstroke shock fill tutorial for the ARRMA lineup? They do not come with a bleeder bubble so it’s different

    Question, need advice: I own an Arrma Big Rock and just bit the bullet and got the proline shocks. I live in Florida where it is always hot so I am going to have to test different oil weights to see which is the best for me. My question is, what weights should I buy to test with? I already have 60 & 35 weight. Which other weights should I get? Thanks in advance.

    Question about the shock oil your recommending, you say 30 to 45 but the package mine came in says 45 to 75 is recommended.

    I was told that ur shock shouldnt come back out without the spring on it, basically when it's being pushed out it's from remaining air inside?

    Anyone have problems with the shock cap coming loose while driving and the shock oil leaks out the two small bleeder holes? This has happened to me on two shocks now.

    Hi there, I have a Traxxas slash 4x4, about a pound or so heavier than stock w upgrades. I have the optional spring set, truggling to find the right spring rates with my powerstrokes. Recommendations? General usage...no racing.

    • @ProLineRacingYT
      @ProLineRacingYT  6 лет назад

      Hello, finding the right spring rate for your specific setup can be tricky, I would start out with a medium secondary (Large) spring and soft primary (small) Spring and then start trying various combinations from that point. if you are jumping a lot, you might want the heavier secondary spring and primary spring. here is a chart that might help a little:www.prolineracing.com/images/PowerStrokeSpringRate.pdf

    I just got the pro specs for the 4x4 slash, what weight oil do you recommend and what holes do you think would work best on the a arm and shock plate

    • @ProLineRacingYT
      @ProLineRacingYT  6 лет назад

      I would say to start with a mid weight oil like 30-35 weight, then start with the mid-size piston, the determine from there if your application needs a firmer or softer setup, more or less dampening and quicker or slower rebound.

    Does anybody know the inner bore diameter?

    Hello!
    Thanks for sharing the video. I was trying to top the four 6063-00 and two 6063-01 schocks up.
    When having my rod down I’ve filled the body in with the oil to the very top of it, pumped it up and down a bit letting the air out, I’ve lifted the rod up to the bitter end, the extra oil has come out (you don’t have this happening on your video btw). Then I’ve put the cap on and screwed it up exactly as you’ve done on your clip, but unfortunately didn’t get the result I’ve expected: only two schocks out of six were pulled back on 6-7 mms,
    the rest of schocks weren’t pulled at all! This is weird, as when I re-filled standard schocks on my Slash, all went well and as expected.
    What do you think might be the reason those schocks are not working as expected?

    • @ProLineRacingYT
      @ProLineRacingYT  4 года назад +2

      Hi @Олег Кирюшин ,
      Once you have all the air bubbles out move the shaft to the top so the lock nut on the shaft is flush with the top of the shock body. Now twist the cap on slowly to allow the excess fluid to escape. Make sure you hold the shaft in that same position as you twist on the cap because if you don't you will let in too much air and the shock will essentially hydro lock or have too much rebound. This should give you minimal rebound.
      We hope this helps answer your question,
      Thanks for your interest and support!

    I have a 1/14 scale wl toys 144001. Im looking to upgrade shocks. Im pretty sure they are 80mm. Im wanting to do alot of jumps. What 80mm shock do you suggest that you have and oil weight? Thank you.

    • @ProLineRacingYT
      @ProLineRacingYT  4 года назад

      Hi @Ryan Crawford,
      We do not currently produce 80mm shocks. The closest that we have to that size is our 88mm Pro-Spec SC Shocks, but even that may be too large for your 1:14 buggy. So unfortunately we do not offer anything that will fit your rc.😔
      We hope this answers your question,
      Thanks for your interest and support!
