After watching multiple videos, people tend to forget that we have no clue what to do, that's why we're watching videos. Yours is the first one to explain the spring thoroughly, thank you, my clippers now work perfectly.
THANK YOU!!! I bought a Wahl clipper for my dog and figured how hard could it be to take them apart, clean them then reassemble? I thought I was a fairly intelligent woman and could do this easily, wow, was I wrong Lol. Thank goodness I finally found your RUclips on reassembling them, my puppy is now going to get a haircut. I watched SO many videos and none of them helped. After countless hours of total frustration on my own. just by you showing several different angles of how the blades and that white plastic piece went I'm back in action. THANKS!
Rs .. I just said that !! Thank you for agreeing because we DEFINITELY RIGHT .. ppl doin half ass tutorials .. he goin All the way in .. that’s real teaching
Thank you so much for this! I watched the Wahl video like 10 times I couldn't make sense of what they were doing. One watch through of your video and my clipper works flawlessly. Thank you again!
We were so freaking frustrated on what to do with the stupid spring that my husband stormed out to buy another hair clipper. Thank you for clearly demonstrating how to take it apart & put it all back together. ❤
This sounds like me 😂 the spring popped out and I forgot how it was positioned. I was at it for over an hour. I became so infuriated that I haven’t tried fixing it for over 2 months now. Im going to try again today with the help of this video. Wish me luck! 🥴
I was stuck trying to put one of these back together today because I couldn't figure out what to do with the spring. Thanks for taking the time to film and share!
Thank you! The social media influenza videos that last 30 seconds are crap. The spring! Turning screws and putting them in a hole does not require a video; how to get that plastic piece back on and hook up w the spring is the tricky part. Great job!
Great video. Very clear about what to do and how to do it. I thought my clippers were a goner. I just couldn't figure out what to do with those little wires. Thank you!
Yes super helpful. I just opened my brother in law's clippers to clean them and the spring popped open/out. Once I saw this I knew how to put them back together.
Thank you. I looked at a number of videos but this was the first that showed clearly what to do. I have a different model that's slightly different in the way the plastic hooks onto the spring but this let me figure it out.
Thanks buddy I watched dozen loads of videos and l nearly gave up l was about to throw it away and deal with my crazy nephew later you really a life saver 😂😂😂
Thank you!!!! Since early 2020 at the beginning of this pandemic, I learn to do my own haircut, so today I was thinking there must be a bunch a hair debris INSIDE the clipper, so I decides to open all the part and can't figure out where the spring actually goes, I reassemble and open it 5th times but it made noisy sounds that doesn't seems right, apparently the spring actually has to attach to the back of the plastic part that attached to the inner blade. Thanks!
My was kinda loud too. I took it apart a few times to make sure the spring legs went into the slots on the blade. I think I may have bent the spring manhandling it. Will buy a new spring to see if this fixes the noise.
For anyone who's still looking for an answer, you need to do what he does at the end of the video when the clipper is turned on. You must turn the screw as seen counter-clockwise (or left), and it will quiet down. Personally, I did this while the clippers were turned off and it seemed to work just as well. I had to turn the screw to the point where it's almost loose for it to go back to a volume I was okay with.
@@lynnscarr5403 Yeah, that spring is stupid. I used to have a Wahl that didn't have a spring. It worked perfectly. This one with the spring is nothing but problems.
Can you, please, make a video of what's insede the clippers when cover is taken off. I have the same model, but it is still under waranty so I can't open it, but I am very intrigued of it's working mechanism because theese have adjustment screw close to the blades, unlike previous models I owned where adjustment screw was near the back and of the clippers. I'm interested, what is the difference between the two models because they look exactly the same from the outside.
Anyone know what kind of blades I should look for to replace the old ones on this Home Edition unit? I can't find any tutorial on how to or what kind of blades should I look for on this specific model or are these obsolete models that you would need Indiana Jones to find replacements for they are already almost out of production? Wasted some money in thinking the length and width of the blade is all there is to buy a new one turns out the white plastic that attaches itself to the blade doesn't fit the new one. Thank you in advance
Ok so now I finally got to see the spring as all the other folks...fml I need to take care of mine.. correctly now ! Thank You for the nice camera angles.

best video
-minimal talking
-under 5 minutes
-accurate information
thanks
After seeing half a dozen clips, this was the first one that showed the spring that the top blade sits on. Thanks!
The springs definitely need to fit into the two slots of the plastic fitting on the cutting blade for precise and quiet performance.
Maine, exactly.

I'm still frustrated with the stupid spring that's the only problem I'm having the rest of it is pretty easy

I watched 10 videos but we found perfect solution in this video thanks man
After so many vids yours is the only one that helped thank you so much brother
Thank goodness for your video. I don't know how long it would have taken us to work out where the spring (unexpectedly) popped out from otherwise!
Thank you very much u save me hours of figuring it out over two hours ❤
THANK YOU! Lifesaver, mine broke halfway through a #1 buzz. Saved me a LOT of trouble & looking ridiculous.
Thank you!!!!

Do you find solution? it happened to me.

After every use do we need to remove the blade and clean.

Thanks for the vid. When you take this model apart, it's a mission to get that spring back in. So, thanks.
I can't get in correctly for it to work. Cheap set. We live in throw away society. So wrong !
