Thanks for this. I took my blades off to clean and couldn't figure out what position they need to be in to reinstall. Got a date with a hottie and needed a quick trim.Looking good now. Phew. Appreciated.
I noticed my Wahl being noisy so I loosened the screws and it suddenly ejected off like a sling shot! All the blade and components holding them together blew apart like a grenade. I attempted to put it back together, but trying to place the spring back inside threw me a giant curveball. I couldn't get it set right. I watched over a dozen Wahl RUclips DIYs and not a single one discussed it or showed a close up. I was about to give up, until I watched your video. I know you didn't go into detail about the spring, but you had just the right closeup angle and it was enough to help me put it back together successfully. It now hums like a gentle hummingbird. Thank you!
My girlfriend had taken apart the blades to clean and re-oil but had forgotten how to reassemble it. We both watched this video and learned a lot. We reassembled and aligned the blades then applied the oil. Thanks for the great video!!
Thank you, the way that you showed the blades up closely with plenty of light, how they were to be aligned properly etc... very helpful! It wasnt easy to keep blades in position and still, until screwed in tightly, however perseverance pays off!!! Thank you again :)
Thank you for sharing this video! You demonstrated in such a clear and simple way. I had taken ours apart to clean them but have been afraid to use them since bc unsure if they were put back Together and adjusted properly. after watching your video I reassembled them per your instructions and they're working great!
The white component, along with its spring (situated in the cavity beneath the blades) popped out as I was removing the blades, and I can't figure out how to re-attach the spring to the white component. Any suggestions?
I've noticed that the bottom blade (the one with screw holes) has uneven "big teeth" at the extremities. Is this feature there to know which side we should align the blades to? In this case the author aligned the first teeth of the upper blade to the small "big teeth" of the bottom. Is that the standard procedure? My Rowenta clipper also has the same configuration.
