My very first Breitling was a Navitimer Jupiter Pilot and absolutley love it to this day. 2 years ago i got myself the Colt 44 automatic on a bracelet, fantastic watch! My eyes are now on the Aerospace Evo. alot of watch in a small package!
My first one was a manual Chronograph with leather wrist band bought 1987 , loved the watch . The next year was at ST Tropez sailing and a girl gave me one Eric Tabarly blue and some gold parts . 1995 bought a Colt quartz , The Chrono was stolen . still have the E Tabarly and the Colt now with a stain steel wrist band . Bought with the leather one after a year 1/2 was gone . They all work really well . love the brand . One question ...Does the Tabarly worth anything . Had mine almost rebuild 16 years ago at Breitling and have all the paper work with me . Looks brand new .Want to buy one that I saw here;
You're off by an order of magnitude for those water resistance ratings, 3300 ft and 3000 m, for the Superocean and Avenger Seawolf respectively. Not 330 ft and 300 m, as stated in the video. Not that I've tested the Seawolf to those depths, but judging by the heft of the case I think 3000 m is closer to the truth than 300 m!
Excellent! The Breitling Superocean collection looks stunning. Are you interested in the new Breitling PREMIER collection? We've released a few Unboxing videos of the Premier watches

July 2019 I bought a 2007 Breitling SuperOcean blue dial ref# A17360. It lives on a navy blue nylon NATO strap. It has become my daily wear watch, and I have stopped wearing my other watches.
I have a 2014 Navitimer World (46mm GMT) on a steel bracelet, and a 2010 Chronomat Evolution 18k with the two tone bracelet. I love Breitlings - my next purchase will be a super ocean heritage chrono b01 - but that wont be for a few years!
@@thebeardedyorkshireman8368 Breitling, Rolex, and JLC; what a collection! I'm guessing from your username that you're based in Yorkshire?? If you were down south I was going to invite you to one of our stores to try on some more watches!
Hi George I am always up for a trip down south as long as there is good whiskey and food involved. What brands do you stock and is there an email address I can contact you on to discuss further?
@@thebeardedyorkshireman8368 We stock Breitling of course, Omega, Tudor, Longines, TAG Heuer, Bremont, pre-owned Rolex, and many more, too many to list here! Or please email me at george(at)burrells(dot)co(dot)uk for a general question. In the meantime, keep an eye on the Burrells RUclips channel for new watch/jewellery videos every week :-)
Initially liked the Transocean, however when I put it on my wrist, it's not my style. So end up of Chronomat Airborne 44 panda dial which is a beautiful watch.
Sadly, the size of many models in this video is exactly what is wrong with Breitling. From the 2000’s to before Kern came onboard, Breitling made huge and gaudy watches, which only appealed to a small fraction of the watch buyer market. ADs were required to buy stock but couldn’t sell many of the watches at list price, and so to free up cash from their inventory, offered huge discounts. In doing so, this ruined the retention value of the brand. Also, they took forever to introduce an in-house movement, which is something that Rolex addressed long ago. Breitling needs to continue to make smaller than 46mm, not blingy, historically significant watches (from their catalogue) and quickly phase out the mess from the 2000s. Once they focus on this approach for the next 20 years, by offering minimal discounts, will they succeed. In other words, they need to emulate the Rolex approach. IMO, the Premier line is a step in the right direction as are the two re-issues.
To me Breitling is youthful and elegant combined. I agree with you they should launch 42-44 mm models more. The new Exospace is also amazing, though I am not a pilot or parachutist but still I admire Breitling Exospace.
Quality watch, Robert. If you're still making up your mind, please watch our '4 Reasons to buy the Breitling Superocean Heritage' video on our channel! I'm sure it will help you decide

Recently got the Superocean heritage 2, 42 mm in blue on mesh. Can't stop looking at the damn thing it is so beautiful. Get's massive amounts of stares on it and some complimens. But can you tell me please, why does the golden B logo on mine seem a tad bit smaller from the ones that came out in 2017, or most of what i see? On the breitling website it is identical to mine but all other youtube videos of it seggest otherwise.
That might be because Breitling changed their branding about a year ago. For example, it was a deliberate decision to remove the wings from their logo, so as not to 'lock themselves into' aviation watches; they wanted to show that they cater to land and sea too. Do you own any other Breitling watches, master G? - George

Good question, Pawel, here's some history: "Breitling" refers to the original watchmaker, Léon Breitling. From his St. Imier workshop in 1889, he gained a patent for a simplified pocket watch, and from there, the company grew and grew. Which Breitling collection suits you? - George
