Sur ron definitely nailed the design. This looks too dirt bikey with the long fenders and the seat looking like its far too forward. Hopefully they change the design up a bit where the tail end of the seat goes up higher and no excessive fenders. Most like the look of naked bikes. It needs some versatility. I have my eyes on a Sur ron and I always think about how much power will I actually need. If this beats it, they can have my money and they're local here in LA.
60v, 35ah, 5000w, 120lbs.... Zero chance you get 87 miles range. It specs out closer to a talaria sting than a sur ron, but is almost identical in specs to the ron and sting. My advice is to be honest about the specs. If they come out and claim 87 miles when in reality based on those specs you will pretty much max out at 40, and real world riding more like 20-25. They will get torn apart on youtube and social media by not coming close to claims. You want to under promise and over deliver. I'm also guessing assembled in US, but obviously have no actual info pertaining to that. I'm just basing it on the retail of 5k. If it is overseas parts, might be in the same supply boat anyway as the parts still come from China, they are just stocked stateside by mantis. Again, all this is pure speculation though based on the price. I think its great that there is a competitor in the US to the sur ron. Hopefully it actually comes out and doesn't go the way of all the "breakthrough" battery tech we have been hearing about for a decade with nothing actually coming to market. I wish mantis the best of luck, but please just be honest on the specs.

No other bike company has anywhere near as much aftermarket parts you can slap on, this especially is what makes Surron so unbelievably great.

They have it listed at $650 more than a Sur-Ron and $800 more than a Talaria for the 60v, which seems high, but not unreasonable. Idk about that frame design though. It looks awesome, for sure, but doesn't look very strong.

Got a surron black edition x 2022 and still my k5 8000w ebike 72v 40amp 150 amp control she pushes 80mph plus ➕ I enjoy off roading on the surron she pushes 50 mph and around 6,000 for both brand new comet if like

Probably do some testing under the power tower to see if the fame will zap you or the controller acts weird because my surron does zap me when I'm under the power lines
Street legal? How, where? If you insure and plate it... then the 72v competition is all legal. If you don't, none of these are legal pretty much anywhere in the world.
@@ryanagadoni yes, Volcon is Texas based but also uses mostly China parts. Land Moto is a Cleveland based e-moto company and they make some badass on road and a scrambler. They use mostly USA made frame components with Chinese electronics (like 95% of ebikes manufacturers).
You don't want to buy an US E-Bike. You don't want this thing falling appart while riding 100km/h. Btw the metric system is the one to mesure Speed and distance exactly. Product quality Matters!

Catch-22. When basically all of the ebike competition claims 70+ miles of range tested at 15mph with a 120lb rider... they will do the same.

Just spoke to my contact. Rawr is the original bring, and E-strapz tried to purchase the Mantis from Rawrrs manufacturer without Rawrrs approval.
