Wow, that Deebot is expensive. I'm really happy with my Roborock S5 and only paid $399 for it. Was also able to get a new Neato D7 for < $300 thanks to a friend who works for Neato. I thought the Neato would be my fav, and it is good, but the Roborock app is easy to use and it navigates surprisingly well. Can't wait until there's a robot that can clean stairs. And windows.
Could you do Eufy L70 review? It is equipped with Lidar-based smart navigation, 2200 Pa suction, and mopping capability. The price tag is $550. How can you beat that?
Hello, first of all, I really love your videos, thank you so much, this is the best review channel hands down. If you don't mind I have a question: According to your measurements Dyson V11 suction is 59 cfm and this Deebot is 24 cfm. And on its website Dyson claims that V11 is 185W, in this case is Deebot 75W? Why do you measure CFM, since companies usually declare Watt power when it comes to suction?
CFM is more accurate as it takes in to account any losses due to air restriction. I could put to 300w motor with a 1/4 hole and it would do worse than 10w motor with a 3" hole for example.
@@bryancromwell9625 Bryan, thanks for the reply. I appreciate it, let me also tell my comment back: I meant watt in terms of suction power not the motor power. In fact, watt is more accurate because it is the combination of air flow and vacuum, and it is they way we declare according to standards (I also work in this field). Max. suction power occurs in the optimum point of h(vacuum kpa)X q(air flow l/s) and we need both for a good cleaning.
Other than the S9+ being a D shape, why not include it in this comparison? Also, just out of curiosity, do you have a good comparison of mopping robots? I am immensely curious to see how the modern mopping robots compare to the old Scoobas (330, 380, 390 and 450). I have 2 Scooba 330s, 2 380s and one 450. I haven’t found anything “modern” that can even come close considering the modern mopping robots take the Swiffer approach of just pushing a pad across the floor. It would be awesome to see a methodical comparison in a test like you do for the vacuums...
One thing you left out..... Which needs to ALWAYS be mentioned... How does the robot react to dark or black rugs? Does it activate the cliff sensors or does it vacuum it like normal?
At this point I pretty much assume all cliff sensors work, if they dont have them I will mention it but its only happend once. I used to mention noise more. Its just that these days there is almost no variation between them I get between 58 and 62
@@VacuumWars so what are you saying about the Deebot 950 then? It does have cliff sensors right? Because the Neato D7 has cliff sensors and works on black rugs fine, but as far as I know the S5/S6 do not work on black rugs because of their cliff sensors. This always concerns me because we have 2 big black/tan rugs in our house.
Hi Cavuum Wars. I think it's time to compare the Roborock S5 Max and the Deebot 960. Although I can't find where the Deebot 960 is for sale anywhere in Australia yet.
I have used a random cleaning pattern Roomba for 7 years. I have high respect for Roomba. Great product. I replaced the wheels/motor once, the battery twice, and the filters and brushes several times. The random cleaning pattern did a far better job that I ever did on my own, but it wasn't perfect. (I am a professional and busy guy, but cleaning isn't my strong suit even when not busy) It was also getting quite noisy, but I will tell you, it always had a full bin of debris when it ran, unless it got stuck on something. But it definitely did not clean the rear of the condo as well as the area around the charger. I got my money's worth at 7 years. In my book, Roomba makes bulletproof products always worthy of consideration. But they tend to be more expensive than others. Being thrifty, I did not want to spend as much as $500 on a new robot, since LIDAR has been out for several years now. Time to try something new. I got the Ecovacs Deebot 950 on sale. I live in a 1100 square foot condo, one adult, no kids, no pets. Dustier than normal due to concrete construction and being near several large roadways. But other than that, easy to clean. It mapped wrong 3 times in a row. Could never get me a good map. I almost kept it because it was very quiet and seemed to do a good job (always debris in bin). But it also couldn't make its way back to the charger. That was the last straw. So I got rid of it for the following reasons: CONS 1. Could not get the map right. 2. Would pull to the middle the house and die because it couldn't find its charging station. 3. Replacement parts are slightly expensive and non-OEM brushes not great. 4. The filter and emptying the bin was a less easy and efficient process than emptying a 7 year old Roomba. PROS 1. Very quiet compared to a 7 year old Roomba with non OEM motors, wheels, battery. 2. Far more efficient at cleaning, except it couldn't map right. 3. When I worked, it did the whole condo in an hour or so without disturbing anything. I liked it because it cleaned my house quick and was quiet. But I never knew if it did the whole house because it would die, and I could never set up zones or anything because of mapping. The S6 went on sale for under $400, so I thought I'd give it a try. Setup is just as easy as the Ecovacs. BUT...it mapped the condo PERFECTLY the first try. It is jut as quiet as the Ecovacs. The bin was really full on the first run and it hit every part of the house with a perfect map. S6 Pros 1. Got the map right on the first try and found the charging station. 2. Cleaned the whole house quickly, didn't get stuck, didn't bang on stuff, and quietly. 3. Picked up lots of debris. 4. Easy set up. 5. I like black vacuums, so I was able to get the S6 in black. 6. The empty bin is one piece, easy to open and empty. CONS 1. Roborock is a Communist China company, and I have grave misgivings about giving any Communist Chinese company any data. This doesn't have a camera, so I guess I don't care about that, but it puts an app on your phone, so WHO KNOWS what data it is sending out. 2. No idea of its likely longevity, or whether everything inside the machine can be replaced like a Roomba. If not, based on the longevity of my last robot, if I cannot replace the battery (other than filter and brush, it is the first major component to go in robot vaccums), I will get 2-3 years from it. I guess around $125 per year for a clean house is not a bad deal, assuming it lasts 3 years, not counting replacement filters and brushes. It is early yet, but if the Roborock S6 continues to perform as it has, I will keep it, and happily. Along with my Roomba Braavajet 240, which is surprisingly good, I am pretty well covered for cleaning.
Very nice review! I already bought the Roborock s5 second edition. After only 5 months the laser had a malfunction. Luckily the seller will have me a full refund. Now I know I'm going to buy the deepbot 950. I'm a gadget freak and I was already very happy with the s5, but it let me down. So time for a new one! Thanks!
Nice comparison! Would be great if you review the 360 S5 (or the latest S7) robot vacuum. In our test, it shows even higher suction of 24.66 CFM (950 ft/min).
Great comparison video, Thanks!! It would be great to see a comparison video of all the Deebot models. Especially since Costco and best buy placed the 920 and 930 on sale. You've done a similar video with the roborock line up. Thanks.
Very Impressive the Deebot 950 can achieve over 2 hours running at 24 CFM. The Roomba s9 only runs at 22 CFM for 50 minutes 🥺🥺🥺. Anyone looking for an old s9 need to get the Deebot 950 now 🤭🤭🤭
first of all thank you for your amazing videos! I m on my way to buy a robot vacuum but I would like to know, what's the diference between the Deebot 930 vs 950?
It is foolish to buy a midranged or low end product based upon the performance of the brand's halo top end product. This is certainly true of both Roomba and Deebot right now. Roborock is in a strange place, their S6 is meh... but their mid and low end offerings are great. Of course as with all things this can change in a generation. XD Great review as always.
Ana E , I agree. I have several Roombas ranging from 2 500 series, two that I got from Walmart a long time ago that resemble the first Roombas and now a S9+. While non of my older Roombas can hold a candle to the new S9+, even the cheapo Walmart versions that are so loud you have to scream over them to be heard, clean the floor just as effectively as the 500 series. You definitely know when they are running though...anywhere in the house...
Ozmo 950 has some serious flaws that need to be addressed! For one It is way too rough with your living space compared to the S6. Check out the 10 second bump test below. I hope you might answer this question. Can two people have the app set up for one DEEBOT OZMO 950? If my wife sets it up with it reset the unit, or will she get all the setting I have, or can she just log in with the same account. I can use trial and error, but prefer to not go through all the initial house mapping. Could she also just log into my account? Thanks.
Right but after going to the clean base & not having to touch the roomba i7 my 5 yo named Robo.... there is 0 chance I can go back to a robot without a clean base
The I7 is interesting as a I7+ because of the deposit in the charging station. Hard floors, no small kids, no animals, the I7+ is the best choice if you just dont wanna think about vacuming for weeks at a time
You should also do a full test in larger areas and see if the robot can find it's way back to the docking station. From what I've read on Amazon, the Deebot have that problem.
Please do a review of the 360 S6/7, I've had mine for a week now, and at only $330 it looks like it would stack up well against these. I've been really impressed with the Li-dar nav, and how powerful and clean it gets my carpets

S6 Pros
CONS
Such good input. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks!
Would love to see how it stacks up against the d7. Great video as always!
Hi, again great review. What is your thought on this. Roborock S5 Max or Ozmo 950?
Why didn't you compare it with the neato d7?
Have you tested the Deebot Ozmo 920? Costco has it for $399 in the LA area.
Ok now I definitely need to see Roborock s5 max vs DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI
Please do compare od Deebot 950 and Roomba S9
Why is this not compared to the s9?
Nice comparison! Would be great if you review the 360 S5 (or the latest S7) robot vacuum. In our test, it shows even higher suction of 24.66 CFM (950 ft/min).
Deebot 950 vs Neato D7 vs S9
Nice comp. How about dusting? How well they pick up fine dust?
Great comparison video, Thanks!! It would be great to see a comparison video of all the Deebot models. Especially since Costco and best buy placed the 920 and 930 on sale. You've done a similar video with the roborock line up. Thanks.
Where I can buy the Deebot Ozmo 950? it isn't available in the link :(
I'm sorry. Product availability can be a stretch right now.
I love this channel but that freaking bell sound makes my dogs go crazy every ten seconds.
A new record? What about the iRobot S9?
Yeah the s9+ on high gets 22 cfm
Very Impressive the Deebot 950 can achieve over 2 hours running at 24 CFM. The Roomba s9 only runs at 22 CFM for 50 minutes 🥺🥺🥺. Anyone looking for an old s9 need to get the Deebot 950 now 🤭🤭🤭
@@PROJECTIRONWOLF1 Gotcha. Still unsure why the S9 wasn't included in the "comparison" chart.
@@danriddick914 it was around the same price point comparison where the s9 is more expensive
first of all thank you for your amazing videos! I m on my way to buy a robot vacuum but I would like to know, what's the diference between the Deebot 930 vs 950?
Very nice comparaison video. Very well made video
Thanks!
How is possible Deebot 950 engine is 1500Pa and air flow 24cfm vs Roboock s6 is 2000pa and airflow only 15cfm?
Thanks for the great testings and reviews! Is any Robo vacuum cleaner works on Shaggy rugs on a hard floor at all?
It is foolish to buy a midranged or low end product based upon the performance of the brand's halo top end product. This is certainly true of both Roomba and Deebot right now.
Roborock is in a strange place, their S6 is meh... but their mid and low end offerings are great. Of course as with all things this can change in a generation. XD
Great review as always.
As always thanks for your amazing reviews. Though in this video I think many of the points given to deebot should've been a draw.
Maybe, I did do a draw on most issues that were close (Nvaigation etc).
How about volume? Is it as loud as a regular vacuum?
Saw this as an ad but this is a good video.
Ozmo 950 has some serious flaws that need to be addressed!
For one It is way too rough with your living space compared to the S6. Check out the 10 second bump test below.
Ozmo 950 Bumper test 1 ruclips.net/video/BSdozyMpCv0/видео.html vs Roborock S6 bumper test 1 ruclips.net/video/g7ku5EY4cO4/видео.html
Does the new Deebot have a larger bin size than previous models?
I hope you might answer this question. Can two people have the app set up for one DEEBOT OZMO 950? If my wife sets it up with it reset the unit, or will she get all the setting I have, or can she just log in with the same account. I can use trial and error, but prefer to not go through all the initial house mapping. Could she also just log into my account? Thanks.
How do you make do High quality videos? :0
Don’t film with a smartphone like on my channel hahaha
Robot Masters lel I f
Do that to
Right but after going to the clean base & not having to touch the roomba i7 my 5 yo named Robo.... there is 0 chance I can go back to a robot without a clean base
How many passes does the robot do when cleaning a flat? One pass at every place or more?
So how do these compare to the convenience of grabbing the stick Dyson when the kids spill some food on the floor and you want it gone quickly?
The I7 is interesting as a I7+ because of the deposit in the charging station. Hard floors, no small kids, no animals, the I7+ is the best choice if you just dont wanna think about vacuming for weeks at a time
Hi, What are your thoughts about Deebot Ozmo 920?
Thanks
Any review on just the Deebot 950 ?
I think a lot of the point given to the deebot should have been ties with the s6 but overall good comparison
You subtracted a point to the roborock at 6:54 instead of adding. Should jump to 4 instead of 2
thanks!
Could you do a comparison between Ozmo 950 and Viomi V3?
You should also do a full test in larger areas and see if the robot can find it's way back to the docking station. From what I've read on Amazon, the Deebot have that problem.
Please do a review of the 360 S6/7, I've had mine for a week now, and at only $330 it looks like it would stack up well against these. I've been really impressed with the Li-dar nav, and how powerful and clean it gets my carpets
I cant believe I enjoy watching these vacuum reviews and comparisons so much... that sounds like the least interesting thing ever but it isnt! Subscribed!
How do the Neato products stack up here? Great review, as always!
Neato doesn't mop... I have an older Neato, would like to stick with brand but I'm in a carpet free home now.
we have a 15 mm threshold and my recently bought deebot stuck on it half the rounds and our Robo rock bought the same time at similar price always get over it maybe not quite smoothly but definitely with ease.. wonder if our deebot is faulty or something...
Do you still recommend Deebot Ozmo 950 over iRobot Rooba i7+?
Thanks for sharing
Please do full review on the deebot 950
The test was carried out at maximum speed, and did the Deebot Ozmo 950 have a central brush?
Would you be willing to do a test on the Rainbow vacuum, or as they say "cleaning system"? I have one I've been using and I'm curious how it stacks up.
How's the 950 compare to the 930?
How come nobody talks about Deebot U2 (not pro)
Also what's better Deebot U2 or Proscenic 850p?
Thx for this good video!
