Ive definitely had small blowouts a few times during my journey. The only reason the skin didn't blow out of the back yet is because I diligently massage my lobes with oil every day and it breaks down the scar tissue. Only downside is this doesn't stop the damage completely. It keeps the skin INSIDE the fistula but since it's still damaged/scarred skin, it does make moving up the next size harder/wait times longer because my lobes aren't AS elastic anymore
Unfortunately, I have been experiencing a blowout that won't heal completely, but it has gotten substantially better through home treatments and patience. My blowout occurred when I stretched from 12mm to 13mm. I moved to the mountains and it was now over a 4 hour drive to anyone who did piercings, so I opted to do it myself.... So, I bought the tapering rods and glass plugs online, but what I didn't know then (and learned the hard way) is that after a certain size you don't use tapering rods to stretch. I pushed the tapering rod through with no problem, but when I tried to slide the jewelry through it all went downhill. I purchased the single-flare glass plugs that weren't rounded, they were more cylindrical-shaped. The first ear I did wasn't so bad, but I wasn't as lucky with the second ear. I kept trying to follow the tapering rod with the plug, but it was very difficult. After a few attempts, I managed to get the plug in, but my ears were on fire! I mean, the pain was unimaginable. I later read that you need to use the single-flared with a rounded end to push through on its own without a tapering rod. I didn't even know I had a blowout forming until the next time I sized up. I didn't experience any pain or discomfort when I stretched, but I noticed the jewelry was sitting funky in my ear. I am now at 16mm, and the keloid on the back of my ear is permanent but isn't so major that it impacts the way my jewelry sits. I used salt in a shot glass with very warm water. I mixed the salt in the water and held it up to my ear lobe, then I rubbed coconut oil, rose oil, or jojoba oil on the entire lobe before putting my plug back in and the keloid got very small. I went 8 months before noticing it, otherwise I could've healed it completely. Even though I didn't skip sizes and waited long enough to stretch, not having the proper stretching tools caused a blow out anyway! Lesson learned, hopefully someone can learn from my mistake and prevent the same thing from happening to them!
I only waited 3 months between 0g to 00g, it was ok before so i just put the next size in. Now the inner side of my ear is red, it doesn't hurt, there's no extra skin (yet), and I'm not wearing heavy jewelry. I'm not taking jewelry out just in case it causes irritation. Important note; it's only on one side, it's only red inside, it's not swollen and I think I caught it early but I wanted to be safe just in case. Thank you so much for this video, because honestly I want so scared ❤
I don’t think i have a blow out. I’m thinking part of my fistula was irritated from sleeping but I’m gonna keep an eye on it. It isn’t painful rn so I’m taking that as a good sign in comparison to some other things I’m reading here.
I stretched my ear to 9/16th and it was totally fine. Like it just slipped right in. Was a little bit tight but wasn’t uncomfortable and definitely didn’t hurt at all. Had it for two days and kept it clean, and oiled. Woke up in the third day and it had swollen up out of nowhere. It had bled and crusted. Completely out of the blue. There was no signs of a blowout beginning. Is it possible I tugged on it in my sleep or soemthing and split my skin in my ear? It doesn’t appear to have split from one side of the fistula to the back side. But rather like a scrape inside the tunnel going from left to right (not front to back).
I just experienced a blow out because I stretched with a silicone plug instead of the usual glass I normally would use. Big mistake. Very painful. I’m hoping it heals without permanent damage to my lobe so I can continue to stretch to the size I want
i was fine for months after stretching, and oiling my lobes, but somehow i woke up and my ear was cut on the inside. im hoping it heals fine and i can continue stretching
After watching this video.. I realized that my right ear "lose ear" it's a blowout .. 😢 yet I kept stretching.. I waited about a month or so stretching .. I even did the in between sizes.. so I took out my jewelry
I got my first one back when I stretched to 6g and just a week ago I was stretching to 20mm and after 3 days realized that the intense pain wasn't just from the stretching so I've just recently removed my jewelry and waiting for my ears to heal
Just tired to stretch to a 6 and my right ear blew out can I put my studs in my ears right now or should I wait I just don’t want my holes to close rn?
I've been chilling at maybe 11/12mm I think, for a year and my ear suddenly blew a couple days ago, idk why, I fold my silicone tunnels and pop them in when my ears are wet, body just hates me I guess 😭 worried I'm gunna lose a few sizes now 😭 I was at 00g for like 6 years before this
i started 2 years ago and was super slow. i was at 4g for about 3/4 of a year, and yesterday i wanted to start stretching again. i didn't know there was an in between of 4 and 2, maybe i bought bad tapers too. my lobes are so swollen and bloody right now i had no idea i would fall victim 😭
I have 5/8” in for over a year I woke up and my ear was infected even though I clean them every day, I had to take my earring out entirely and go on antibiotics. Now my ear has no earring in and now I just ordered a 5/8” taper to hope I can slowly get back to 5/8”
had my first blowout just a minute ago when on a call when i was at 4g my lobes started bleeding and was upset bc my ears were hurting but i waited the time to go up so i thought it was normal turns out i let my ears abd self be in pain
I had recently stretched from 10mm to 11mm then to 12mm, while i was at 12mm; I noticed my left ear wasn't in pain but it got super itchy after a couple of days. I decided to clean my ears and noticed there was a little tiny flap in the front of my lobe.. Is that a blowout? Everything I've read and seen is showing the blowout in the back? :(
Yes, that is actually considered a blowout, but the good thing is you caught it early and it’s not that big. I would suggest not to change any of your jewelry in and out a lot I would definitely say use some vitamin E oil or jojoba oil to massage your ears three times a day for about 2-3 weeks minimum
I'm at 24mm right now,i'm surprised I didn’t get a blowout at 0g to 00g 1 year ago even tho my ear throbbed for 2 days straight...I was lucky.I'm now taking care of them and they're thick and healthy.
Put in a 16 from 14 even though I knew I needed a 15.went 2 days and noticed swelling and thought that pain should not be lasting that long omg when I took that tunnel out the left ear was bleeding like crazy it looks ripped in a couple places.back again I go.For now though I won't be putting anything in there
I got one going from a 12mm to a 14mm on my right side so I took both of them out and went back down to a OO /10 mm… I’ll just stay here for a few months. If not longer I did notice when I was at a 12 or a 14 mm it’s like my ears didn’t like it idk if my ears are just to small so my goal may just stay at a OO But the only thing my ears like right now are ultra thin silicone tunnels I know your not supposed to wear that but my ears love it I keep them clean and jojoba oil and vitamin e oil in the day time and stretching balm that has hemp oil tea tree oil and other oils all in one at night after my shower so they stay happy …
Sometimes i put some force to get the new size in and it stings tiny bit but the stinging keeps happening for a few hours and the ear is a bit swollen and red but then calms down. No bleeding or blowouts though but i still shouldn't do it😅 just wanted to keep the symmetry
i only got one like... idk how many years ago it was now honestly.. i was bleeding... i immediately took it out, thankfully i had my smaller sizes on me (just in case, i was also out at the time with a friend) and i put the smaller ones in, and we were good to go, and i stuck with that smaller size for quite a long time cause i took that as a sign my left ear wasn't ready yet (my left ear is way more finicky for some reason) so i think i waited like a year before i stretched again. now im at my goal size, 22m :) and have no plans on stretching anymore. im quite small and petite, so i think any bigger wouldnt compliment me, but ive been at my goal size for like 3 years now, so all this happened so long ago haha
Im so scared to get a blowout. Im trying to go from 8g to 6g. Ive been at 8g for a long time, had no issues. But having this many issues at such a small size worries me for the future
I got a blowout at 8 g💀 I stretched from 14 to 8 in all a month. My friend stretches every 2 weeks & is fine, but my body says NO!!!! so I downsized back to 10g
I had blowout 14+ years ago. I join the military and had to take my earrings out and it healed just fine. Im regauging it now. I might have done it ago today. Im not 100% sure
Yeah pain wasn't a good indicator for me. I live with chronic pain so the blowout I'm dealing with right now from a pain standpoint wasn't note worthy. Really for me it was a little bit of discomfort. Still can't believe that I did this though. I was going from a 16mm to a 18mm and I've never blown out before. I take sedatives to sleep so I'm pretty sure that i did something to it while sleeping. The stretch itself wasn't unusual but after sleeping on it things started going wrong. Oh well. Fuck it. Anyone that isn't scarred hasn't lived life. Hopefully it'll heal for the most part though.
I stretched to 1/2 back in November and it was perfectly fine but now almost 3 months later , my left side started itching and now it got red , now it looks like a blowout but I’m like wtf … why is it like this now after 3 months?
Was trying to stretch from a 16mm to 18mm felt like my left ear was more ready then my right.. apparently not left ear blew out and right ear is fine.. left ear is swollen and pusy.. when healed I’ll probably put my 16 back in and wait a month
I actually went to an inch. Then downsized luckily to 5/8ths. Have had 5/8ths in for years and years. And now, I experience super itchy ears, sometimes bleeding, etc. and I’m completely confused as to why this is happening considering I’ve had my ears gauged for about 10 years and never experienced anything like this. If anyone has any answers, please let me know!
i just went from 12g to 10g im not sure if im having a blowout or just crust? theres no pain or irritation or redness of any kind but there is a lot of crusting and “cheese” and it smells awful idk what to do edit: i also waited like two months between stretches (adhd. i forgot.)
I feel like getting to about 6 mm you should take it easy, but the larger the hole the easier it is as there will be more skin to stretch and the pain won't be all centered in 1 tiny spot like when u just started stretching. that being said, and I don't recommend it to beginners but it can be pretty safe to put a new size in every 2 days, if you listen to your body keep it moist, try pushing it in till half so it gets half the size it will be painless, then in the evening you'll be so surprised to push in the entire thing also painlessly. I have 3cm ears and eat well heal fast,it worked for me
Wished i watched this video sooner:/ went from 0- 7/16 too fast. Right one is perfectly fine. Left one said naww. Put in a smaller size. So hopefully this heals up and i can put back in my 7/16
I do seasalt soaks. I think im having a blowout now and im scared to pull the jewelry out. It's has been throbing I put them in last night and was fine but this morning it hurt. So im going to soak them, massage them with the jewelry in ans oil them in hopes that the swelling will come down & I can get it out
I was going from a 2g to 0g I’ve had 2g for a good year and I was ready to go up but my ears were not and forced them now I feel like I just backed up my progress all because I was ready to force them in ugh it happen 4 days ago ugh I rushed it just to get to 0g I know my ears aren’t healed i do slowly put a 6 and a 4 g just to feel how my ears react i had personal pan pizzas for ear lobes after forcing stretch
Stretched my ear going from an 8g to a 6g(waited three months) I noticed my right lobe was swollen so I cleaned it then I took it out to see what was happening then my ear started bleeding now it’s been about 45 mins and I was worried my ear will close up all together since my ears are not stretched that big I was wondering if I can just put in my regular studs and not stretch for a couple years
Never had a blowout..I just let my ears stretch through time(never tapers)..ex. overtime a 0 gauge will become 00 and so on.. my gauges are smooth inside and symmetrical…I started stretching at 19.. I am 38 now @1/2(13mm), 9/16” is where I’ll prolly stop.. definitely not going past 5/8.
I just started stretching 2 days ago, I started from a 16g, I went to the piercer at the tattoo shop that did the initial piercing and he asked if I wanted to use tunnels, not fully understanding I said yes, he jumped me to a 10g, one of my lobes has a blowout, I went to a different piercer for advice
Yeah, that piercer did it wrong. My FRIEND who isn't a piercer, pierced my ear (the one not pierced) at an 18g (regular piercing stud) and then six hours later I jumped to two 12g tapers. Always use tapers to stretch up until after hitting 00g. Then use a heavy piercing, like stone or metal, and gravity will naturally stretch your ear out. Also you should constantly spin it, push it in and out and move it around. When they fall out whilst you're sleeping, you're ready to stretch up. And make sure to use lube.
Never go to that piercer again for anything. I've never ever ever ever had infections or anything. And 9/10 times when you do A. It's fake jewelry, so you're allergic to it. B. The piercer did it wrong. Very seldom is an infection or anything caused from lack of aftercare.
I started stretching my ears back in January. ( I started stretching a year ago but didn’t continue) three months ago I was at a 6gauge. I finally decided to stretch to a 4 gauge using acrylic spirals I used them before to move to a 6. I just started stretching to a 4 two days ago and I noticed really bad pain it was hard to fall asleep on both sides of my head but mainly more on my left side. I noticed some Crusties and wanted to clean it (all happened 20 mins ago) I took out the spirals and my left ear started bleeding. When it did It was throbbing and I thought I was going to pass out. (I can’t stand the sight of blood) I eventually got it to stop I couldn’t put in my 4gauge tapers in my left ear but I got it to go in my right. So now that ear never really stretched because now I have my 6 gauge in my left ear and the 4 in my right 😅. My left ear is definitely going to take longer then usual. ( oh and the spirals go up to a 2 gauge and when I was sleeping it pushed all the way to the 2 gauge is what I’m thinking.)
I need some help because I’m trying to go from a 2g to 0g, it’s been impossible to find an in between size. I’ve waited a FULL year before trying to go up. I even got a 0g spiral, that way I can gradually move it up in size by not fully inserting it all the way. I’ve only been wearing it about halfway in. My ear still blew out and now I’m very upset to have to downsize back to 2g… feels like I will be here forever.
I went from 12mm to 14mm bad idea. Day 3 woke up and it was bloddy and had pus. Went back to 12mm going to wait until its healed then pop in some 13mm then my 14mms. Thought I could skip because I had my 12mm in for sometime and quite a bit of lacticity but I was wrong.
I had a blow out when I was 18. And I was do dum. On the way I did it. Cause my brother gave me 2G tapers. And I was at a 12G. So I put the 2G in. And the next day. When I went to go clean them. My ear was pissing blood. But I took care of it. I let it heal. And I need did that again.
Stretched my ear until a 22 and my regret is forgetting to put my gauges on so they closed a little but and decided to wear them again until I noticed how it wouldn’t go in or fit so I forced it in and cause a severe blow out but I ignored it and kept it in , worst 2 days of my life cause my ear was in severe pain and throbbing, puss and blood was coming out so I decided to take it off the healing process was bad but got bettter then I went back down to 12mm , so rn I’m at 16 and the other ear 14
I randomly get them for sleeping wrong on them. Have had them at an inch for years. I wear silicone so maybe that might be the problem and i sleep with them in.
I’m just another poopbutt on the internet but I’m not hearing what to do besides downsizing or leaving jewelry out and cleaning it with saline. I had one with no signs or “bad” behavior. Per most sources online and irl I wear smaller jewelry (often backwards) and do daily massages with Vit E oil, warm compress and keeping it clean.
I have blowouts in my two ears for a long time and now I have healed skin but push back how can I remove that skin and put the skin back in place? I can’t do anything to get it right
Idk if anyone will see this but i sized down after having issues going from a 6mm to an 8mm but one ear looks bruised and is sore like a bruise... any ideas?
Currently dealing with a “healed” blowout.. I have a big bump on the back of my lobe. I’m at a 13mm and I put a 12mm in my blown out ear at night and I’m slowly trying to get it to go away and hope for the best. I rub vitamin e oil on it every night for a few minutes. Anything I could do to make it go away?
Im at 30mm and i had to take it out because of infection and am now with it back it it ripped when i put it back and im going to go to a doctor tommorow its silicone so it just destroyed my ear
Can a blowout be fixed if you have continued stretching afterwards? I can’t seem to find anything about this I was naive and didn’t think to try fix it straight away
im currently at 2g and im pretty sure i haven't got blowouts but im getting really bad itching on the back of my head right next to my ears and clear liquid appears when ive itched them is this considered a blowout? the lobes look totally normal its just the skin right behind the ears. i thought it might be the jewellery rubbing on it🤷🏻♀️
Hi, so I just have a question for literally anyone like anyone that could help me. So I started searching my ears about 4 weeks ago and I recently sized up about I actually have no clue. But like before I did that they were healed and perfectly fine and so I size them up and right now my ears will constantly be very irritated and on only one of them. I have this like it's like a little circle surrounding the whole and it's in front of my ear but the other one doesn't have that and I'm definitely not having a blowout I don't think because it's not like raw on the inside. It's just like really irritated and like I've tried everything but like nothing specific because like no one actually has to tutorials where like it tells you in depth what to do and I absolutely can't size down because I tried to and it does not work like it's stuck at this one size and I've been on the size for about like 3 days please help
i'm literally so annoyed that i had a tear, i educated myself so much and did everything right (...evidently not). i was literally stretching to 16g when i got it 😭😭😭 i had 20g ears at the beginning due to getting pierced with a gun as a baby, i had 18g in for like a week but i thought i could size up, but my dumbass stretched my good ear first, got excited, then literally forced my bitch ear to stretch. i was so scared the entire time but i was so full of adrenaline and my idiosyncratic mind would never ever let my lobes be two different sizes.
So I can’t find answers anywhere and I’m worried I just stretched from 16g to 14g got my ears pierced with a 16g earring and it’s been about two and a half months and I figured it would be time to go up a size there was no pain what so ever putting them in or even for about 12 hours after but it now feels tender to the touch as if it’s swore I don’t know if this is normal or if I upsized too early or maybe they are just irritated because I do keep shaving the backs on my towel when drying my hair every once in a while
That’s fairly typical. Keep an eye on them and use basic aftercare routines. Keep them clean and massage with jojoba oil to help the tissue. I hope this helps
so like I accidentally skipped a gauge18-14 and my ears are reddish after it’s in what should I do should I like take it out and redo it when it’s healed help :/
Honestly found this interesting even though I don’t have plans to stretch mine (already have asymmetrical lobe piercings layout) cus first thing I thought was a tattoo blowout, and I knew that wasn’t it for this video. 😂
hello! I been having issues w/my last stretch been goin very slow I was in 14mm for a whole year then I decided to give my ears a little stretch went 15mm waited 3month then 16mn waited 2month then to 17waited 3month, 18mm-3month everything was good hardly any pain no blowouts no infections then I jumped to 19mm(my goal stretch) all good no pain no blowouts but this time I feel they are not quite healing its been almost 2 month at nights i remove my plugs I feel a little crust and feel moist no blood not itchy just a slight pain when I put my plugs in....i wash them w/sea salt water massage them w/vit e oil or coconut I clean every night my tack plugs (I believe thats what they called them) I have no blowout just that crusty thing lol! Should I put maybe some neosporin I sometimes use aquaphor when gettin my plugs in Im now using stainless steel a person I know said i should try glass for sure not silicone Im allergic to silicone😢 ma ears get sooo itchy....so ugh can you please help me🥲any advice I surely wont like to go down a size something tells me if i down size I will not be able to go up to my goal size again.....(19mm) ty in advance & howdy from texas!❤
Maybe someone can help me here. I finally got to 1/2in. Ive been at this size for a year atleast, the other day my left ear randomly out and i took it out obviously. its healing okay, but now is extremely small like smaller than 0g. Will i be able to stretch back to 1/2?
I have a blowout and kept stretching 😬😬😬 I didn’t know what they were til now ! And I’ve been stretching since middle school hopefully the damage isn’t permanent I’m going to down size and start massaging
I have a pretty bad blowout on my right lobe, idk if its reversible, I really hope it is, I massage everyday with an oil/balm and I dont really see any changes😢 there is also a small keloid inside of it that gets extremely angry with me when i do massage it and I feel like its never going to go away. Im going to need to go to a professional to see what they say
After 3 years of 8 mm I wanted bigger so I went from a 8 mm to 10 mm 3 days ago and my right ear stil is verry touchy and sore should I take them out and go back to the 8 mm?
I’m currently at 3/4ths and I’m thinking about going up to 7/8ths but I’m super scared to because I’ve had a few blowouts since 2006/2007 and I just don’t know how my ears would react after being the same size for so many years now….should I push and shove plugs or weights and test my luck and or should I buy tapers and try that way? Any suggestions?
I watch a video on RUclips. They said the safe way is to put some kind of medical tape on your plug. Just do two layers every couple days. I think I was looking up how to gauge or something. It was a female RUclipsr. Maybe you can find it.
I think I’m dealing with a blowout at the moment. I think I went to fast from 8g to 6g. It was painful but I had waited a few months and got impatient. I’ve been cleaning regularly but it’s more itchy than painful and I’ve left it for 2 months and I’m trying to find silicone tunnels but it’s hard to find near me. On particularly painful days I’ve been using bactine to prevent infection and help numb the pain. Don’t know if bactine is bad for blowouts but it’s been healing ok. Hopefully I can go back to stretching soon!
No please don't use silicone while stretching! Your skin will get attached to the material! Use glass or steel! When your lobes are fully healed you can use silicone but not while stretching!
I constantly get a blowout in my left lobe from fighting 😅 Currently going through one😂 from a fight last Friday lmao I've never gotten one from stretching up though, because patience is easy with me I'm currently stretched to 7/16ths inch .. was at 9/16ths until a fight and losing the tunnels ... I keep my jewelry in, also, and use antibiotic ointment on it, while spinning it from time to time to keep it open. Because I'll be goddamned stupid if I need to re-taper my ear to stretch back up.
I’ve only had a few blowouts in my life time main in highschool, but the past 4-6 years they decided to start getting infected despite using the same balm snd soaps when cleaning my lobes and the heal parts are very large with thick skin around them 🥲 makes stretching them very difficult now
Ive definitely had small blowouts a few times during my journey.
Glass plugs can almost always be found in half steps!! I sized up in single mm increments from my starting size all the way to where I am now (17mm)
I have blowout right now and didn't realise what it was so thank u :) I stretched too quickly
i was fine for months after stretching, and oiling my lobes, but somehow i woke up and my ear was cut on the inside. im hoping it heals fine and i can continue stretching
Same here!!! I have been at 35mm for 2 years and I just woke up this week with a cut inside my right one and I am sizing down to 32mm for now 😢
I skipped from a 6 to a 2 and one is kinda sore so I’m definitely gonna wait up to 6 months for my ears to heal before even thinking about going up
I went from 9mm to 6 and went too soon I guess. Now I’m back at 9mm in that one ear hoping it heals well.
I just went to a 6g and my ears were swollen and it’s been day 3 I cleaned them and messaged 😮💨 and well as I’m typing im cleaning the blood 😭
Just tired to stretch to a 6 and my right ear blew out can I put my studs in my ears right now or should I wait I just don’t want my holes to close rn?
I've been chilling at maybe 11/12mm I think, for a year and my ear suddenly blew a couple days ago, idk why, I fold my silicone tunnels and pop them in when my ears are wet, body just hates me I guess 😭 worried I'm gunna lose a few sizes now 😭 I was at 00g for like 6 years before this
Same thing happened to me and I just took them out. I was ay 7/16 and now lost it all they sre both healing and they look insane tiny.
i started 2 years ago and was super slow. i was at 4g for about 3/4 of a year, and yesterday i wanted to start stretching again. i didn't know there was an in between of 4 and 2, maybe i bought bad tapers too. my lobes are so swollen and bloody right now i had no idea i would fall victim 😭
I would suggest not to change any of your jewelry in and out a lot I would definitely say use some vitamin E oil or jojoba oil to massage your ears three times a day for about 2-3 weeks minimum
thank you so much!
I got a blowout and didn’t touch my lobes in 5 months, it just happened because how cold this spring is, fml even got to my goal size
Sometimes i put some force to get the new size in and it stings tiny bit but the stinging keeps happening for a few hours and the ear is a bit swollen and red but then calms down. No bleeding or blowouts though but i still shouldn't do it😅 just wanted to keep the symmetry
I just got done healing from a blowout and I have to start pretty much from 3/4 to start again I was at a 1 inch
i only got one like... idk how many years ago it was now honestly.. i was bleeding... i immediately took it out, thankfully i had my smaller sizes on me (just in case, i was also out at the time with a friend) and i put the smaller ones in, and we were good to go, and i stuck with that smaller size for quite a long time cause i took that as a sign my left ear wasn't ready yet (my left ear is way more finicky for some reason) so i think i waited like a year before i stretched again. now im at my goal size, 22m :) and have no plans on stretching anymore. im quite small and petite, so i think any bigger wouldnt compliment me, but ive been at my goal size for like 3 years now, so all this happened so long ago haha
Im so scared to get a blowout. Im trying to go from 8g to 6g. Ive been at 8g for a long time, had no issues. But having this many issues at such a small size worries me for the future
0 and 00 are the safest bet. Once you get into those fraction sizes, you’re askin for trouble lol.
I got a blowout at 8 g💀 I stretched from 14 to 8 in all a month. My friend stretches every 2 weeks & is fine, but my body says NO!!!! so I downsized back to 10g
I stretched from 14 to 6 in two months and rn my ears are infected 😭 I’m so hard headed and don’t wanna size down bc I’m so close to my goal atm
Just realized I had a blowout trying to go from 2g to 0g. I could cry
If anyone has any answers, please let me know!
i just went from 12g to 10g im not sure if im having a blowout or just crust? theres no pain or irritation or redness of any kind but there is a lot of crusting and “cheese” and it smells awful idk what to do
edit: i also waited like two months between stretches (adhd.
I have 3cm ears and eat well heal fast,it worked for me
I’m on day 4 of going from 9/16 to 5/8 my ears are red and swollen still they kinda ache. I’m pretty sure I blew both my ears. It still hurts to touch
Stretched my ear going from an 8g to a 6g(waited three months) I noticed my right lobe was swollen so I cleaned it then I took it out to see what was happening then my ear started bleeding now it’s been about 45 mins and I was worried my ear will close up all together since my ears are not stretched that big I was wondering if I can just put in my regular studs and not stretch for a couple years
I have a blow out rn how do I fix this she mostly told us how to prevent it
Never had a blowout..I just let my ears stretch through time(never tapers)..ex. overtime a 0 gauge will become 00 and so on.. my gauges are smooth inside and symmetrical…I started stretching at 19..
And 9/10 times when you do
A. It's fake jewelry, so you're allergic to it.
B. The piercer did it wrong.
Very seldom is an infection or anything caused from lack of aftercare.

I have a tiny blow out, but not sure why. Ive been patient and ive had no pain
So this happened to me and like i sized down from a 2g to an 8g no irritations. Im using baby oil to massage since its all i have.
That’s rough. Sorry it happened.
When I Lose them in my sleep sometimes i get really bad infections after 😅
Sadly i only have access to acrylic tappers. How can I make due with axryllic material?
you can use them. but it's not recommended. at all.
Try Arctic Buffalo. They have glass gauges used for dead stretching and they have all the in-between sizes. Jojoba oil works well too.
Can you recommend a good oil to use?
Jojoba oil rocks!
Dammit this just happened to me I was at 7/16 no im going back down on one side 😢
Gonna sound stupid but I got my ear pierced at 6g after 2 weeks stretched from 6g to 2g in 1 night no problems
Why is the jump from 7/16” to 1/2” so intense?? It feels like such a huge difference in size and my ear is on FIRE lol
They have half sizes on shein and Amazon !! Made my stretching journey so much smoother
I had my ears at a size below an inch for like 2 months and I slept on my ear wrong and got a blow out some how.
I have blowouts in my two ears for a long time and now I have healed skin but push back how can I remove that skin and put the skin back in place? I can’t do anything to get it right
Idk if anyone will see this but i sized down after having issues going from a 6mm to an 8mm but one ear looks bruised and is sore like a bruise... any ideas?
I had a small blowout on my 18mm stretch should I ignore this?
in my case ive had 16mm for over a year. a couple a days ago i woke up and had a massive blowout on the left ear. don't know how it happened
me rn LMAO im pretty sure it’s from sleeping and needing to upsize bc it falls inside my eat sometimes
Anything I could do to make it go away?
my blowout literally is always gonna come back i fucked it so much n im only on 6mm 😭😭😭 my right ear is on 10mm no issues idk how i managed dat
Iv got big blow outs are they fixable? My left ear is the worst
Im at 30mm and i had to take it out because of infection and am now with it back it it ripped when i put it back and im going to go to a doctor tommorow its silicone so it just destroyed my ear
Can a blowout be fixed if you have continued stretching afterwards? I can’t seem to find anything about this I was naive and didn’t think to try fix it straight away
im currently at 2g and im pretty sure i haven't got blowouts but im getting really bad itching on the back of my head right next to my ears and clear liquid appears when ive itched them is this considered a blowout? the lobes look totally normal its just the skin right behind the ears. i thought it might be the jewellery rubbing on it🤷🏻♀️
Would someone be capable of using a 10 Guage piercing needle and slide an 8 Guage taper in without to much worry?
I had a blowout when I was in a fist fight the guy ripped my gauge out of my ear causing it to bleed
What if the pain is my fav
That hurts I’m dealing with one now
@@koolkiid2045 take care of it ! Downsize massage and clean it ! I have to get surgery :(
@@lafayetteduarte9773 I Kant anymore is a split on my right ear I only have one gauge 😔😔😔
WELP i got a blowout, i already knew it because its purple and bumpy.
I've watched you since 4 gauge! You're so BEAUTIFUL 😍
Ty your Awesome 🫶💚😈👌
5/8 and this is the first time.
just had to downsize my right ear from 25 to 23mm :/ I'm pissed lol but it's my fault so oh well
I have a blowout and I went from a 2 to a 0 and it's pussy and swollen and I have to go to er it's infected and it's been like this for 2 months
My fear came true today blow out going from 18mm to 20mm fml
slayyyyy this came out just in time for me im pretty sure I blew out my left ear by sleeping in dangling earrings 🥰🥰🥰
Took me 4 years to get to 40mm.
Your so beautiful ❤
I constantly get a blowout in my left lobe from fighting 😅
Currently going through one😂 from a fight last Friday lmao
I've never gotten one from stretching up though, because patience is easy with me
I'm currently stretched to 7/16ths inch .. was at 9/16ths until a fight and losing the tunnels ...
