One thing I have learned in my 64 years. People like to judge others, it makes them feel better about themselves. Keep rocking Billy, been a fan since my late teens. Squier!!
Billy Squire- ABSOLUTE LEGEND
Yes 💯
Billy Squire belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The lady screaming oh really!?! Oh my God!! That made my day.
He still got that voice. He should tour more. Get a kickin band behind him
Squire is a Super-Legend!!!
Mind blowing. That's 2 professionals from a different generation ripping it up. Humbled. A effing Mazing
Billy Squire could write a million dollar song..sing ..and play ...
Squier and Frampton are my two fav singer/songwriter/guitarists.......
Billy Squier is my all time favorite musician❣️🎧😎
Love both of these dudes.. Rock ON!
thank u, Billy for coming back
He never left!
Still sounding good Billy! And always an excellent guitar player!!!
it is fucking amazing what those two guys can do with
their Les Pauls it is stunning could listen to that stuff all day
This is pretty damn good. I never thought a lot of Billy Squier in the 70's/80's, although I liked his songs. Really appreciating his devotion to his craft here...and of course a big shout out to Joe B and band for sharing the stage and of course for playing their guts out, , as Joe B's band always does.
He looks and sounds pretty well preserved for 63.
Billy Squire, the American Robert Plant, AND Jimmy Page, all in one guy! And I just gotta say Daayyyyummm!!! 😊😊😊👍👍👍
This ain't your "rock me tonight" Billy Squire. Thank you Joe for bringing him on. Billy is, was, and will always be an axeman.
Love ❤️ this and love Billy and Joe 👍🎸❤️🎼
AWWWE Billy,,,Jimmy would be proud.
Hey, Billy - Where's that '55 Strat you used to play in Boston back in 1972?
That was some piece of wood and steel, man. I know you made it when you
went to NYC with Maxanne Sartori, but I bet you remember the days of The
Groggery, Bunratty's, The Channel and The Mad Russian et al. Those were
rocking times, and I played with you on stage and in the studio quite often.
Boton was a rock and roll town back then and you are one of the best to come
out of it. Congrats, man. If I gave you my name you'd know what I was talkin' about
but there's no need. Keep on pickin' and grinnin', you old Wellesley homeboy!
wow what a memory its priceless xo
Seen Joe a few times, would have loved to been at this show. Was a big Billy Squire fan back in the day. Big thanks to whomever posted this video!
just not big enough to spell his last name correctly
This show was a blast and sounded amazing! Afterwards, I was lucky enough to have Billy Squier sign my the pick guard off of my Les Paul!
I love Billy Squier
Could be a winner boy you move quite well.
Mark my words, this Bill Squire kid is going places! Seems like he can sing and write great songs and play the 6 string! If we can get him an auto tuner and some overly processed tired r&b beat he will have what it takes to be a superstar today.
Hey Tim don't really know how much you know bout BILLY "STROKE ME
'SQUIRE but he's been around for awhile now,! (Just sayin)
@@darrylnicholson1387 pretty sure that comment was deeply tongue-in-cheek.
Wish I had been there! What a show that must have been!!
yeeh hawl baby,that rocks
wish I was there...fantastic combo
I saw this dude as front man for Piper. :) Thanks Billie!
Billy showed the naysayers! You're my kinda guitar player, too!
Les Paul. Thank you for all you did! No guitar sounds as good 👍
Once again, looks like an awesome show. Thanks so much. I think I miss the white suit though! Love all around!
That was epic!!! Thanks for posting!
Billy voice is killer good here also .
Great to see Billy Squier again, fantastic performance!!!!
Shaun, you are an excellent judge of true rock talent.
Rock on !!!
I like this...👍
Billy hangs right in there with Joe and his tone is 10x better
Awesome very awesome
Awesome
The guy behind Billy is having an awesome time! Love to see musicians enjoy the music!
Nice, Billy Squire...plays the blues!
HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!
Went to a Squire concert in 1982 ish, McNichols Arena in Denver Colorado.
Nice!! My kids know to play Billie Squire, Nobody Knows at my funeral!!
Billy..sp.
Tsssss good
Yesterday's concert unforgetable!!!! Speechless!!!! Just Fantastic!!!!
Thumbs up*****1000*****stars.
Very well filmed!!
Best regards.Maria & Bela
blues album billy,, it will sell.
Nice 👍
You're a character...you are so funny, cute too...Mr. Joe!
Someday take the man on tour with them we miss him
Great god almighty is that amazing!
Squier & the blues would be a great combo and produce a great album
A real legend in our mist...Whatchoo been smokin, smokin Joe?
Great videos from last night! Was so nice to met you two at the Beacon. Hope to see yall at another show sometime :)
William F'n Squier!
I Love Billy Squier, love his music and he still has his awesome voice. He can shred too. Wish I could see him live here in Canada, would be so awesome. He should really be opening for Classic Rock Bands and touring with them, he would be such a great opener and new fans would be like who's this awesome dude haha.
I saw him for the first time the day MTV started, 1 Aug 1981, opening for Pat Benatar in Jersey. He was great. I went on to see him 2 more times.
Dylan, he can't do that! He'd steal the show! 😊😊 We wouldn't want him to embarrass the headliners by stealing their audience, would we?
And Arlan is just sittin back there with a BIG grin!
Squier "IS" the KING.
Name a vocalist, guitarist ( lead / rhythm ), songwriter as skilled.
Not one artist ( even Clapton ) can = Billy. And what, 65 y/o ?
No Shit! He is awesome!!
I love Billy Squire, saw him open for Queen in 1982 BUT I wouldn't say he was tops over all,no disrespect to Billy but Joe Bonamassa is far more talented IMO. Richie Kotzen is another extremely talented vocalist/lead/rhythm guitarist multi-instrumentalist who sings AND plays a lot better than Billy. Look up "Regret The Winey Dogs Unleashed In Japan" or any other song off that concert and then try and tell me Billy sings and plays better than Richie Kotzen. don't get me wrong I'm not hating on or disrespecting billy in any way, just calling it like I see it.
markyncole Add Dave Meniketti (Y&T) & Dann Huff (Giant) to the list of extremely talented vocalist/lead/rhythm guitarist multi-instrumentalists.
Fastt Ed I can name a couple hundred.
SRV. Nuff said.
Waaaay cool vid!
Was hoping he would do Rock Me Tonight.
The video version?
Wow Billy amazing😎😃😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Take that Joe !
I knew Squier was good but never knew he could Shred ? This is basic Blues soloing but you can tell hes got more tricks if he needed to really Rip it Up . Great duo performance ...
Aaron KM ~ He's been keeping his talent under wraps for a while...
Shred??? I must have missed that part
@@garrisonic are you just jumping from comment to comment to shit on him? Good for you, man. I bet you're great. Woowee.
Didn't know Billy Squier could play like that.
Not been paying attention? He was a guitar God til that one unfortunate video that fans never mention.
That video really did him in. MTV played the shit out of it.
This is standard vocabulary for a guy his age. Clapton was a god when he was a kid.
He was a big John Mayall Blues breakers air Clapton fan. That was less Paul and Marshall, the first time the world heard that sound the way Eric played it.
Billy is the real deal ....Joe is also the real deal ....I love these guys and Im amazed that Joe looked him up but not really . Joe Knows his guitar players , guitars and blues.
You Suck, LOL!
I did mine from the balcony...
What an amazing show
Billy squire is,awsome total badass from Wellesley mas, baby great songwriter always, loved his lyrics still do who's your boyfriend great rock in tune he did with piper and redid it solo both arrangements are great
Two very talented favs, but man, what lousy audio!
That guy behind Billy acts as though someone is talking to him and he is answering back.
Billy deserves to be in the HOF
No............he doesn't
@@garrisonic Yes........he does.
I didn't know Joe Deetay could play like that!
Lot of guts by Joe to stand and play next to a legend and great player like billy
Yeah, Joe does not seize the moment to over play the solo at all. Look at my tone! Look at my immaculate vibrato!!
Of course I recognize these guys are having a great fucking time, and Joe is a great guy to woodshed and learn technique from any day. The trade off solo is a lot of fun and it is the pay off of the entire jam.
i could play this shit better than them and im a nobody. granted im a big fan of Squiers
Look at my jealousy
Where are your videos? I would love to see you playing better than Joe Bonamassa. I really would. If you play at that level, there MUST be some video footage of you playing out there somewhere??? No?
Laura McDonald
Billy squier... plays gibson
Joes suit is too tight....Billy Squier is one talented individual.....
fistsoffury james who gives a damn about the suit
I watch a concert like this because of the MUSIC
I'm not a fucking fashion critic
The Magic is what they do with their guitars and that is what counts
That's a hilarious non-sequitur! It gave me a good belly-laugh - thanks! I find both Billy and Joe very talented, myself. It's a real pleasure to see Billy in particular tearing it up, here. Very happy to see his talent aging with class.
Too tight?? What are you, new? That, my trailer park trouser toting friend, is called fashion
Thanks for posting, I'm tempted to take my guitar to the crossroads some night so I can play like Joe...but I don't think my brother-in-law the Jesuit would approve...
Not even close to creams version.
No, it's closer to the original
WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE CLOSE TO CREAMS VERSION ??????....
Bossanosum is a parody....charaaiture
No, Billy Squier can play. Use to burn his albums (on cassettes) up while going to ski at Ski Apache. I say again, he can play. Very cool video. You’re lucky to be that close to those two. I saw Joe with Bloodline when they opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd and again at ACL Live for two nights a few years back. Didn’t like the fact that he played the exact same song list those two nights. Even told the same lame joke for both. A guy in the crowd gave away the punchline the second night. Lost respect for Joe that night for some reason. Billy wouldn’t do that. Would he?
Definitely not a Bonermercy fan. Just something phony about his image. Tone it down a bit and just stick to guitar playing dude.
yea your right, he should just stick to guitar playing...SO YOU CAN FORGET NO ONE HAS MORE BLUES NUMBER ONE ALBUMS...you lout...thats all Joe has done since he was a young bloke...he has stuck to playing his guitar his whole life...now listen next time instead of looking at him...its easier to hear that way...Toodlepip
sarah sarah You know Sarah...he is very technically proficient- very. But I see him nothing more than an updated Eric Johnson, Gary Moore, second tier blues guitarist that’s kicking ass in non-mainstream markets. A lot of his songs sound very unoriginal and follow the exact same pattern and use the exact same 'flairs' for lack of a better word to describe it to make the songs more interesting.
It often sounds like he doesn't put a lot of passion or soul into his playing, HOWEVER I think that could be just because he's so technically proficient (and generically flawless) in his playing that he doesn't need to put that emotion into it, it's like his fingers just know what to do through years of practice.
Yea that’s what separates him from the originals, Clapton’s, BB’s, etc. There’s just nothing unique other than him being technical great...and also him having been a child prodigy has been huge for him.
sarah sarah Oh yea...one more thing. Why don’t you use proper American english, rather than some old 18th century, proper Oxford dictionary word like Lout for Christ sakes. You Brits always want to use words with a “u” in it...trying to be more French (color does NOT have a U). So go back and insult me in current modern terms instead of pretending to be French. When Americans kicked your ass 200 years ago, we also pissed on your improper phonetic usage.
Billy’s voice is too thin and “white” for a convincing Blues song. Good guitar work though.
only a 59 les paul is good enough for Billy
David Allen : lame
Круче только варёные яйца!
squire has no blues in him .... no where near EC
perhaps its this recording
signs of life best 80's album experience of well seasoned sugary pop music
Yawn...Billy Squier..spare me please.
You sir are a jack ass
Get lost there, Ronnie. You have no clue.
