      @ezboyrc553 I thought I heard you say you needed to make a splitter. I thought a while back I sent you some connectors and a no solder connector for direct power things like the winch from Holmes Hobbies.

    I just installed my first Fusion pro 2300 kv. Much easier than I thought, very impressive performance too. I also picked up an RC4WD 8274 winch, tons of pulling power. If I could afford it I would have a Fusion Pro in all my rigs

    • @ezboyrc553
      @ezboyrc553  11 месяцев назад +1

      I would too if I could afford them. I only have one 2300kv Pro
      But I have 3 of the 1800kv FUSION SE Because they are almost as good for half price.

      Hi, I’m installing the same motor. What mount numbers did you use to get it the pinion gear and spur gear to mesh properly ? Tia

      I will see if I can work on that soon. I'm trying to do a comparison on some other 2 speed vehicles as well. I need to get one of them GPS things that you put in your r c car and it tells you the speed on your phone

    Hey when you put the motor mount plate on the fusion did you use the same numbered holes that were used for the stock motor?

    • @ezboyrc553
      @ezboyrc553  11 дней назад

      Yes, if you use the same pinion gear, then you use the same holes that it was already in.

    • @AndrewMoto96
      @AndrewMoto96 11 дней назад +1

      @ I used the same pinion but it sounds like it’s skipping due to loose mesh but it doesn’t look like it is.

    • @ezboyrc553
      @ezboyrc553  11 дней назад

      @AndrewMoto96 if you're using the same pinion gear. it actually should be fine, I'm not sure but I'm thinking that on that motor plate, it does tell you which slot for a each size pinion. You might want to double check just to make sure you're in the right one.
      O on a side note, this transmission doesn't sound the smoothest. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that in there. Good luck.I hope you figure it out.

      @@ezboyrc553 the motor plate is numbered so I used the same holes but it just feels like it has a ton of slack when I change directions. Thank you man

    Can I plug an 11.1v lithium ion battery onto it as last one blew up.
    Maybe wires crossed?

    • @ezboyrc553
      @ezboyrc553  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes it can run 3s battery. The only way it would burn up is if the main power wire, hot and negative.was backwards, when you plugged it in, and that's hard to do.. If you just bought it, they have a pretty good Warranty program You just have to send it to them, and they will look at it and see if they want to replace it.

    Do you still get the battery level with the hobby Wing system on your Spectrum radio?

      I'm running a different radio because I switched to the two speed instead of dig, so i'm not sure, but i'm thinking that it goes through the receiver and would be okay.

    I honestly don't know why Axial just doesn't make the 2 speed transmission a standard feature same as what Traxxas does. Why make people have to tear apart the rig in order to get this option going?

    • @ezboyrc553
      @ezboyrc553  11 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely agree. And even after doing the work , putting it in & not having a controller that will work 4 channels is just nonsense. Lol

    • @woodenshoe788
      @woodenshoe788 11 месяцев назад

      Since you already have a TRX4, you can use that radio to control the jeep but you'll just need to pick up another Traxxas receiver. At least that way you'll have all the channels. I did that for my early Bronco last year. @@ezboyrc553

    And do ya need to take the transmission out to do just the motor swap? I plan on keeping dig. Thanks man!

    • @ezboyrc553
      @ezboyrc553  10 месяцев назад +3

      No, you don't have to take the transmission out for just a motor swap. You actually only have to remove the fake engine off the top and 2 more screws. I think. The motor comes out very easy.
