Awesome, I just got my red one also and I want to do this mod, Great video , the DU BRO company I have some old Helicopter parts from, very familiar with them. I am buying the hood hinge set from another company but I like this idea. My local hobby store has these. Excellent work, new sub by the way.

I've been trying to figure out why Axial would bother with that scale radiator and fan if they weren't going to make the hood openable!

Used to be ugly antenna poking from hole in body somewhere. Best of all, no smog,, yeah roll it and stilllooks the same, but there should be age limit!
