Finally, I found one that looks like mine. The low side is in front of the alternator. The guage always shows low but fill not fill more. I'm just using the can with a guage on top.
Excellent video! I'm dealing with the same issue with my 2010 T&C. I'm going to give the hose trick a try. To me, the fan on the vehicle is acting the same way. It comes on, but it seems like it lacks enough power to really cool the condenser. Thanks for a GREAT video! Much appreciate the time it took to put it together!
Just wanted to share i had the same issue same low fan speed and hot air from the vents it looks like there is a sensor in the acumulador for the high pressure since i changed that, the fan started working regularly and the air its now cold id i also had to add some freon now that i have pressure readings with the right presure
You have the best videos on youtube for beginner DIYers like me, you make everything easy to understand. I hope your channel continues to grow and you start cashing in...Happy thanksgiving
Thanks Rocco, since this video, we have really grown! When this video came out, we were at around 100 subs, and now we are at 8000, and it's thanks to comments and people like you.
I have a 2008 chrysler town and country pacifica went on a 4 hour trip and on the way back the air blew warm and then blew out really low when it was on full blast happens on hot days do I need more freon or do I need to change the relay of fuses
Great video! I'm surprised it got that cold when you had the temperature set to 68 degrees. Usually I have to put mine on LOW on the climate control setting. If you overfill the freon, can you let some out and will it start working again, assuming the compressor and everything else is ok?
Hopefully you are still taking comments and replying to them. I have a 2008 Dodge grand Caravan. I don’t have those gauges but other than I’m assuming it probably need some Freon I have a problem with the rear AC. The rear ac wouldn’t come on for months after I bought it and then it came on for a couple weeks and now it won’t come backOn. Any idea what it might be?
I don't even try to pretend I know about air conditioning. however, my wife has a 2008 T&C Touring I have checked all the fuses in the IPM box and don't see one for the Compressor clutch but otherwise every fuse is good and working. I hve power to the clutch its obliviously constant since I didn't have the key in the ignition when i pulled the plug and hooked a meter to it and got a bit over 12v. I don't have a set of gauges nor would i really understand them however i got a can of R134 that has a gauge on it and it tells me the system is full. My question is do you have any ideas or suggestions I don't have a mint to take to the shop.
I have a 2005 Caravan only one of the fans is turning on, the one on the driver's side does not come on, will that cause the AC to not blow cold. If so do I need to replace the fans
Nice video. q Question for you I have a 2008 dodge caravan that the rear a/c works fine but the front does not come on. It turns on but when I turn the controls I have have nothing. I checked the blower motor and blower relay and they are fine. Any Idea? Thanks
Thanks, I know its not the resistor or blower motor. I put new ones in. Is there a way to check the control panel without buying a new one. Thanks again.
I have a problem with a 2002 town&country it has freon and actually if you bridge the relay it work and cool but it doesn work it self, i check the pressure sensor in has 5v ground and signal come out only .3v not Sure whats is the right number for signal, A/C was working ok but i had an arness problem i fix it but then a/c dont come back on
I have a 2007 Chrysler Town and country. I turned the van on, then the AC unit. I moment later the entire unit shuts off with nothing working or blowing on any setting. About 10 minutes later after driving over a speed bump it starts running. During this time my auto locks stopped functioning from the doors and remote key. Any suggestions?
@@mrmicro22 I got it found but says its charged ive checked the obvious fuses and relays I think but the clutch doesn't engage and I'm wondering if its getting power or if the compressor is done I'll try to check that today if the heat lets me. Thanks for your response.
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos the power wont turn on from the inside. Your video here did turn on but mine it turn off when the break and abs light came on. i am not sure what it is.

Thanks, and yes you can because I have actually done that, LOL!
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos Thanks!
Thank you .... now I know that to look for and what to change out (relay) ..
Glad we could help
might want to clean that thing in the front too so you get good circulation through it

When it doesn't work, does the blower motor still turn?

Wait, you have 12 volts at the compressor clutch with the key OFF?
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos yes what a trip pulled tge connector and that's what I got

Yes, if one of your fans is not coming on it can cause the A/C not to work properly. You would need to see why it's not coming on.
i have a 2005 t&c and the a/c power stoped working. what can this be?
Fuse, wiring, faulty part(s), etc.
When you mean relay, not the fuse?
Nice video. q

Check the blower motor resistor and the control panel.

If you have access to a wiring diagram that would be very helpful right now.

Check ALL your grounds. It seems like there is a loose ground somewhere.
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos will do, thank you...
You got to stop doing this shit and become a comedian. You are naturally funny.

2008 t&c no a/cy ports are in front of the altanator and one near the firewall big pipe what is low side port?
Look back of engine near firewall just right of center. Trace the line.

2005 Chrysler Pacifica with a 3.8 a/c works sometimes, and other days it won't even turn on. Any advice?
Check the freon level.
What if the ac there is no power?
If you have no power to the compressor, check the fuse, relay, pressure switch, and the control panel.
