Nice find! This would be my next upgrade from the earlier flip-based 1-din android. Yes, its a smaller screen and lower resolution compared to the flip 1 din, but looks kinda neat.
About the touch based volume control, I think there are those 2 wires that a labelled as KEY1, KEY2 and extra GND. You can kinda use that for volume control (you can find these if you got steering wheel control for the car).
There are some tricks that I tried, just touching those wires can trigger the volume up and down.

No way! I just saw your review on this on Amazon so I ordered it for my e36 and I just found this video while doing some research on it lol

It’s not perfect but I do like having maps when I drive. I wish someone would come up with a single DIN that is full glass (no trim) and have power and volume buttons. Hope yours works out well. It’s not bad at all for the price!

Hey Conall, how does it fit on your e36? Thinking about getting one for mine!

Does this radio have video input?
I wanted to do something crazy like use it as a monitor

What should I do if it doesn’t fit properly. My car where the old radio was is curved so doesn’t fit properly so it’s loose how can I lock it into place

You've got to fold the pins of the radioframe.
And with that short radio there is plenty of space by the way. 😂

One question. Is there a way to skip the load-up screen or reduce it's loading time?

I haven’t found a way yet… it is a little annoying but for the price I can’t complain.

Yes, there are two power wires, one supplies constant power even when the ignition key is removed and is usually the radio's yellow wire, and one is for accessory power which is usually a red wire on the radio. The constant power lead keeps the radio in a sleep mode and the accessory lead wakes the radio up. Depending on the unit, when wired properly the boot up time is only a few seconds. The standby power drain is extremely low so there is no danger of draining you car battery unless you let your car sit for weeks without charging the battery. Even then some radios have a low power drain prevention circuit which completely shuts down the radio if the car's battery voltage goes below a certain level.
