      Edward Ramirez Excuse me, you have that wrong. That case happened in CT where I live back in 2011. She did not get 5 years for being homeless. Plus, she had a prior criminal history. Warrants were out for her arrest. She sold drugs to support herself while living in her van. She sold drugs to an undercover cop plus pimped out two girls. Also, others too at that time were arrested and she just like Felicity Huffman, they both took away seats from other students whose parents did it honestly by living in the school district, being residents in that school district plus did not pay anyone off. The only difference between these two cases one has money and the other one is poor. They both took away from other students. Stop with the racial divide here or the race baiting. They both did wrong. Skin tone has nothing to do with it.

      Nahh, she wasn't as bad as Lori Loughlin. Lori and her husband were offered a two year plea deal and they didn't take it, but she's also being charged for money laundering. It wouldn't have made sense for Felicity to get two years, especially when she plead guilty, while Lori was offered two years for more stuff. Besides, Felicity paid for her kids entrance exam, Lori paid for her kids to get admitted via a sport. I think paying for the kids to directly be admitted is worse than paying for a higher score on an admission test.

    • @myfairytalelife3
      @myfairytalelife3 5 лет назад

      @Too Funny Auntie Betty?? Do you mean Auntie Becky??? Lol. But yes, I agree. Becks will get a harsher punishment, money laundering is a serious offence. Besides, Mossimo [or however you spell his name], aka Lori's husband, has also been charged for this, whereas William H Macy, Felicity's husband, wasn't. I think the worst that should have happened to Felicity is her kid is forced to retake their psat test under supervision so they know that it was actually the correct kid, and she, Felicity, gets probation and a hefty fine. But hey, two week jail sentence isn't bad for what is going to happen to Lori and Mossimo. They should've taken the plea deal. Maybe they were the ones who should have gone to university cause they sure aren't smart. It's obvious where their kids got the stupid gene from. Are their kids that dumb to not be able to get into a university in their own?? They had to get a freakin rowing scholarship, a sport they had probably never even heard of.. Smh!

    I don't want to see her go to prison, I like her. But guess what...there are a lot of people that I don't want to see in prison. That black mother got 5 years for using someone else's address to get her 5 year old into school. That was insane and completely unjust. Complaining about this is a waste of energy. Energy that should be spent making sure OTHER people DON'T go to prison.
    How does Felicity Huffman going to prison help someone like that innocent black woman? People are hating the player, not the game. The goal shouldn't be to attack the privileged. The goal should be to get the same treatment....They won't feel privileged anymore.
    Why are people more focused on giving her more punishment instead of giving other people less punishment???

    The 14 days won’t matter to her. The bigger punishment is the shame she now has to live with, and the embarrassment she has caused her family. When celebrities mess up the whole world hears about it, so they should be extra careful to follow the rules. I’d normally have at least a little sympathy for Huffman because she is obviously shattered, but it’s hard to feel sympathy for celebrities after the hatred they have been spewing towards Trump voters over the last three years. Plus their arrogant, morally superior attitude makes me think ‘screw ‘em’. Maybe a spell in jail would give all leftwing celebrities a reality check.

      Jnn F white privilege does not exist. It’s also racist to imply that. How about looking at this this way-the rich folks who can afford good lawyers to get them no prison time or little prison time. Stop with the “white” labeling. If this was another average white person who cannot afford a lawyer, they would get more than 14 days in jail and a bigger fine. Her “rich” status along with her high price lawyer got her off. To say that white folks have it made in cases like this is wrong on your part and a bad assumption as well. If Felicity Huffman was black or whatever other race along with her lawyer whether the lawyer is white or black or whatever race, if the lawyer is good at winning cases, then ones color did not or does not play a role here.
