Bought xtreme 160R yesterday.. i like this motorcycle.. ride quality is good. Motorcycle is light weight coz of that you can enjoy the performance. 160cc segment is meant for commuting purpose not for racing so you can cruise easily at 85kmph. If someone likes racing then better go for cbr250, Gixxer 250, ninja and higher cc motorcycles coz they are meant for pure performance. Hero xtreme will take Hero back to its glorious era of Karizma.. Don't go by numbers on paper.if anyone wants to buy please take a test drive of all the vehicles .choose that motorcycle which brings smile and happiness on your face . It maybe any brand. Just go by your heart.
Finally it's a good motorcycle. Hero delivered it. Hero means trust.

It feels good that hero has got it right this time with xtream 160. Though not owned any of d hero (honda) bikes. I thought of owning CBZ . Bt by d time I leaned to ride n buy one it was gone. Yes there was Karizma zmr bt CBZ was king. N coming to d review, to d point, no non-sense, n showing some practical things one does daily basis is so welcome. Keep up d goodwork BW👍

My husband is looking for a bike for city & long ride (planning to go to Ladakh and Sach Pass). He has shortlisted two bikes and confused.
1. Royal Enfield Classic Gunmetal Grey: Muscular look and vintage feel but got feedback that this is not reliable machine. Some and other parts demands continous repairing.
2. Bajaj Dominar 250: A complete package with all modern facilities but Bajaj bikes have bad name of producing noise after couple of years.
3. Yamaha FZ25: Yamaha engine has lowest failure rate. You can trust this machine on long rides.
Please share your feedback, so that it can help to take decision.
If it were me, I would take theFZ. I have a thing for light bikes. And when the air gets rare at the top, a light bike is a blessing!

Pratheek - the prop we used - is 6 2. And he was fine with the bike. But it’s best that you get on the bike yourself and see if it fits.

If it’s in the city, we say go for the Xtreme. It is lighter, more fuel efficient, and easier to handle in traffic.
Xtreme has luxurious comfort and smooth and u instantly smile when u ride xtreme. I ha ve CB this bike has best suspension best comfort.u feeling like u driving a car. Thats quality of CBZ XTRMEM If doubt Plz test ride.

No, the bike is meant only for two. It’s designed with that sort of payload in mind. Plus, it is illegal for three to ride on the bike.
In the video you mentioned that pre load no. 4 to adjust, I am considering to buy the bike for myself, which I will be using for commute to work. I ride with out pillion most of the time so to how to adjust the rear mono shock for comfort
When you take delivery, ask the dealership to drop it to 3 or 2. If you find 2 too soft, you can ask them to take it back up to 3 during the first service.

Yes, it is. Firstly the seat height will not be a big issue. Then there’s the bike’s lack of weight and good weight distribution, which makes it easy to balance when standing still.

Xtreme 160R is an all new bike.
Different engine. The 150 was more high strung, less refined, and of course carbureted!

Companies are very clever. They don't provide Engine Cawl on 1st generation.
Because they have to provide something during 2nd generation models which is so called updates.
And RUclips channels don't talk about that.
The engine looks empty when you see bikes that has Engine Cawl. We are clearly missing an Engine Cawl for Xtreme 160R.
Maybe that will come in the fully faired variant?
