I don't think his disc ever hit the ground. You can see the shadow of the disc for the entirety of the flight. I might be wrong, but I played it back multiple times in slow-mo and didn't see it.
I throw the Rive as a Beginner, awesome for forehands i want to be sure where it will go! Insanely reliable and a nice feel, good for skip-approaches too!
I don’t think disc speed matters as much with forehands. There’s a lot more torque and a beginner would still benefit from throwing a rive vs starting out backhand
@@HaikesXO I'd say a high-speed disc is harder to throw predictably well bh (than a low-speed disc) for an advanced noob, and the opposite for throwing fh. A low-speed disc is harder to control initially, fh, than a high-speed.
Why do we want to listen to someone talk for a few minutes when they are clearly wrong when they open their mouth as evidenced by several commenters here? Do us a favor and just post the shot with no commentary and make the clip under a minute like other pages. Frivolous.

It brushed through the grass but I don't think it hit the ground either.
yeah it didn't hit the ground
Agree, I didn't see it hit.
didn't hit the ground or there would have been an early flare imo. trimmed some grass though
Yep, never hit!
great conent but the disc didn't hit the ground til the skips
Definitely didn't hit the ground before the crest of the hill
Great analysis, but it never touched the ground initially.
Excellent content. Please keep up the great work!
Thank you Corey!
Sick shot!
That’s honestly insane.
dope shot, excellent analysis
2 things I learn from any Ricky form video:
(1) How to throw farther
(2) An example of a disc that is way too fast/stable for me

@@maxhult830 that is what I said, essentially
It did not hit the ground there
Really cool
Great content 💪🏽🥏
Thanks, Marcus 👊
Was this a Rive ad with additional content?
Ricky throwing this shot was a Rive ad, that cost approx $4 million over 4 years 😁
That disc didn't touch the ground until after it crested the hill
Is this Paul McBeth narrating?
Sounds like Paul with a Bob Ross-ish seductive tone
Ricky bobby shake n bake!
My new name for a disc that travels very far while barely above a surface is 'carpet bomb'.
quality
Appreciate it!
So this is a Lat commercial?
2:44 Emerson Keith completely disgusted.
1:10 imagine needing to slow your disc down on a 464' forehand laser hyzer lmao
A common problem we all face right ?
The crazy thing is how rick is basically never forced to throw max power on his forehand to get the shot he needs.
Disc didn’t touch the top of the hill. The shadow and disc never meet.
Absolute dot
Didn't hit the ground.
Didn't touch the ground
I’d like the video more if the person wasn’t whispering.

He threw it too low and got lucky.
I have a Rive and it's waaay too much disc for me lol.
