While the rest of the group is going ham-fisted taking out swathes of enemies, Hawkeye is the sniper that is taking out key Target's, and providing remote reconnaissance information by being a step back from the whole picture. He thinks outside the box calmly, which helps everyone with the information he Gathers. Just because he's the weakest, doesn't mean he is useless

Even if Natasha sacrificed herself, Clint contributed by just being there, they got the stone *together.* Get that bullshit out of here, they always treat him as more than a guy with a bow and arrow, even if Age of Ultron jokes about it he was still a big key player in that movie.
